Abstract

ABSTRAK              Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Pengembangan dimaksud bertalian dengan main product revision, yaitu perancangan buku panduan Model Blended Learning Berbasis Webblog. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan yang berbasis FGD dan angket reviewer mendalam sebagai alat evaluasi. Hasil FGD dan angket reviewer mendalam dari sejumlah ahli dan calon pengguna buku pedoman, ditetapkan bahwa 1) format buku pedoman yang ergonomis adalah A5; 2) isi bahasan buku sebagian disusun dalam format bahasan tutorial sejalan dengan fungsi buku pedoman; 3) ukuran halaman A5 masih memberi ruang yang nyaman untuk pembacaan gambar-gambar bahan tutorial hasil screenshot; 4) layout naskah rata kiri-kanan dengan kepala alinea rata kiri dianggap cukup nyaman; 5) cover buku yang polos dianggap cukup eye-catching dengan penggunaan huruf sans serif; dan 6) font dengan rata tengah pada tampilan cover buku dianggap lebih nyaman.  Kata-kata kunci: blended learning, webblog, pengembangan, buku pedoman ABSTRACT             This research is a 2nd year development research. Previous research is a development study revision of the implementation of blended learning models based serve in the D-3 Visual Communication Design FBS, Undiksha,. The development is already reached the main position of product revision based on the findings of some problems in the steps and evaluation of learning activities. The revision of the learning model was developed using the pattern of the approach of Chiesa & Frattini (2009) relating to three achievements of development research, namely inputs (results of inventory and research theory), process (model development) and the outputs (formula of learning activities). The previous research has analyzed three problems that are a barrier to the implementation of this learning model, which is related to input, process, and output. The results of the analysis became a consideration in determining the revision of implementation of this blended learning model based serve. All records and findings in the research activities were compiled into a key ingredient in the writing of the Manual on the Blended learning Model based on the Webblog.Keywords: blended learning, inputs; process, outputs, manual, webblog

Abstract

Perancangan Video Promosi Perahu Wisata di Pantai Penimbangan ini bertujuan merancang video promosi Perahu Wisata di Pantai Penimbangan dengan tampilan yang komunikatif dan informatif dengan durasi 3.59 menit. Dengan adanya video promosi, maka niscaya keberadaan perahu-perahu nelayan Pantai Penimbangan dapat menjadi aset wisata daerah dan meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat nelayan serta penduduk di sekitarnya. Proses merancang karya desain komunikasi visual ini diawali dengan riset data tentang keberadaan perahu dengan observasi langsung ke objek wisata Pantai  penimbangan dan wawancara dengan nelayan di sana.. Menentukan media berkarya, proses berkarya dan proses finishing hingga menjadi sebuah video promosi. Hasil perancangan desain komunikasi visual ini adalah berupa delapan jenis desain media promosi  yaitu satu media utama berupa video berformat AVI dan MP4 dengan durasi tayang 3.59 menit dan diunggah di kanal youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dYBsk9X_TA&t=22s

Abstract

Pembelajaran mata kuliah teori pada program studi diploma yang berbasis vokasi seringkali dianggap kurang mendapat perhatian dari mahasiswa. Dengan merebaknya pandemic covid 19 membuat persepsi tersebut menguat karena perkuliahan dilakukan melalui pertemuan virtual. Dari latar tersebut tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk membuktikan apakah benar mahasiswa vokasi tidak responsifterhadap pembelajaran mata kuliah teori; 2) mendeskripsikan respons mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran mata kuliah teori Psikologi Komunikasi secara daring di era covid 19. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil angket menggunakan metode skala Likert, observasi perilaku mahasiswa dan dokumentasi kegiatan belajar dan dianalisis secaradeskriptif kuantitatif dalam bentuk prosentase yang digambarkan dalam sajian data berbentuk angka, tabel dan grafik statistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa responsif terhadap pembelajaran matakuliah teori dengan capaian respons positif 82,5% (baik); dan respon terhadap pembelajaran matakuliah teori Psikologi Komunikasi secara daring di era covid 19sangat baik dengan respons positif 86% (sangat baik).

Abstract

Physical and mechanical properties of ply bamboo made from various bamboo species and adhesive type were studied. Bamboo species used in this study were tali (Gigantochoa apus), andong (Gigantochloa verticillata), and betung (Dendrocalamus asper). Five types of adhesives were used for the experiment, namely methylene diphenyl isocyanate (MDI), phenol formaldehyde (PF), melamine formaldehyde (MF), urea formaldehyde (UF), and poly vinyl acetate (PVAC). Three layer of ply bamboo with (40x40x0,4) cm3 in size was made by weight spread of adhesive 200 g m-2, compression temperature at 140 ºC for MDI and PF, 110 ºC for MF and UF, and room temperature for PVAc adhesives, with specific pressure of 15 kg cm-2 for five minutes. Especially for PVAc, cold compression was carried out using a clamp for 24 h. Fundamental properties of ply bamboo was tested according to SNI 01-5008.7-1999. The results showed that the development dimension of the ply bamboo from the largest to the smallest was in the side of thick, wide, and long, while for timber and plywood were in the side orientation of tangential (width), radial (thick), and longitudinal (long). The best physical and mechanical properties of ply bamboo were obtained from betung bamboo using MDI adhesive.Key words: melamine formaldehyde, methylene diphenyl isocyanate, phenol formaldehyde, ply bamboo, poly vinyl acetate

Abstract

One way to control pests of rice plants by using ornamental plants is known as Refugia. Planting refugia is one of the efforts to conserve natural enemies. Refugia is an area overgrown with several types of plants that can provide shelter, food sources or other resources for natural enemies such as predators and parasitoids. The Refugia technique is more economical and also certainly more environmentally friendly and health, because by using this technique we don't use chemicals that actually harm health. Agricultural systems that develop environmental-based pest control techniques, refugia are expected to maintain the sustainability of agroecosystems in the field, by following the principles of Integrated Pest Management. The purpose of this activity is to introduce the refugia system to farmers and provide a pilot as a refugia system application. The planting activity as an introduction to the refugia system is carried out in the area around agricultural land in the village of Jalaksana. The activity consisted of the socialization of the introduction of the refugia system and planting of species of refugia plants as a pilot. Key words: integrated pest control, pilot, refugia

Abstract

In the learning activities carried out at TK Dharmawangsa, students feel bored quickly during the learning process, especially when learning to recognize numbers. This is because the learning media used before were less attractive, because they only used books and makeshift tools. The design of interactive multimedia about number recognition is able to be a solution to this problem, because interactive multimedia is able to display text, graphics, audio, and animation to attract students' interest in the learning process. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop interactive learning multimedia that has a number recognition feature and contains games to arrange numbers and guess the number of objects to help students and teachers of TK Dharmawangsa in the teaching and learning process. For data collection techniques used in this study, namely observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature, and documentation. And for the method of making media starting from the pre-production process, production, to post-production. Based on the test results, the material experts get a very good predicate about this interactive media as an auxiliary media in the teaching and learning process, while the media experts get a good predicate about the appropriateness of this interactive media to be published. Based on the results of the questionnaire that was given to 21 students of TK Dharmawangsa, this interactive multimedia about number recognition received very good 100% responses as an interesting and fun learning medium.

Abstract

Binuang bini (Octomeles sumatrana) and binuang laki (Duabanga moluccana) are fast growing species that have the potential to be developed as engineered wood products. However, previous studies have shown that both wood species have high contact angle values due to the extractive content and the high acidity. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the effect of hot water extraction (HWE) pretreatment to eliminate these limiting factors. The results proved that HWE pretreatment statistically significantly decreased the contact angle of binuang bini wood but not for binuang laki wood. HWE pretreatment resulted in a decrease in the levels of hot water-soluble extractive content and degradation of other wood chemical components. The different effectiveness of HWE pretreatment on binuang bini and binuang laki wood on improving the contact angle is influenced by differences in the quantity and quality of extractive substances as well as differences in the anatomical structure characteristics of these species.

Abstract

Kelingking Beach is one of the most well-known tourist attractions in the Nusa Penida Island region of Bali. Known for its iconic view of cliffs shaped like a pinky finger, which simultaneously becomes the main attraction of this beach's beauty. Although it is already well-known among tourists, the uniqueness and popularity of Kelingking Beach still require ongoing promotion to prevent it from being overshadowed by other tourist destinations on this Island of the Gods. The purpose of designing this promotional video is to help promote the Kelingking Beach tourist attraction more intensively through dissemination on various social media platforms. The design of this promotional video uses a research method that applies data collection techniques such as direct observation at the location, interviews with sources active at Kelingking Beach, and gathering library data and documentation about this tourist attraction. The data obtained is used as a reference basis in the creation of the video design concept and its supporting media. The result of this design is a narrative promotional video about a trip to Kelingking Beach with a duration of 05:58 minutes for YouTube. The content is persuasive, not only conveying visual beauty but also applying principles of visual communication design, aiming to influence public interest through a series of unique experiences on the journey to Kelingking Beach. The other design outputs are seven promotional support media in the form of t-shirt illustration designs, stickers, pins, video thumbnails, instastories, websites, and short videos for Instagram and Facebook reels, YouTube shorts.
