Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the determination of education costs and the quality of study programs on the interest in choosing private universities among prospective students (an empirical study in East Jakarta). This research method is quantitative descriptive, while the data used is quantitative primary data, the population is 243,352 people using the Slovin formula, a sample of 100 people is obtained, the data collection technique is carried out with a questionnaire using a Likert scale of 1-5, while the data analysis method is descriptive data analysis and statistical data analysis. The results of the significance and linear regression research can be concluded that the linear regression results of Interest in Choosing Private Universities = 3.412 + 0.638 Determination of Tuition Fees + 0.614 Quality of Study Programs, are very positive and significant and linear and the results of the test are the regression coefficient on the Cost Determination variable, namely 0.638. The results of the hypothesis test, through the t test, show that the calculated t value> t table (3.262> 1.660) and a significance value of 0.002 <0.05. The Cost Determination variable shows a positive and significant influence and the Quality of Study Programs variable shows a positive and significant influence based on the results of the t test, it can be seen that the calculated t value> t table (8.452> 1.660) and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The results of the hypothesis test, through the F test, show that the calculated F value (175.963)> F table (3.09). This can be strengthened by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, there is a positive and significant influence simultaneously between the determination of education costs and the quality of study programs on interest in choosing private universities.

Abstract

The Indonesian automotive industry has become an essential pillar in the country's manufacturing sector. As production capacity increases, problems will also increase, including disparities in the level of efficiency and productivity of each sub-sector of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. This problem occurs due to the need for a good process path, such as the uneven distribution of work tasks machines in the work process so that it is possible to harm the company, so a solution is needed to increase the efficiency of the production line. This research aims to improve production efficiency, particularly concerning the use of electricity costs and operator wages on the cabin type S L assembly line, by applying the Ranked Positional Weight (RPW) method. The research phases include data collection, analysis, processing, and evaluation. Based on the SL-type cabin calculations using the RPW method, the track efficiency improved by 4.69% from the initial conditions, while the track effectiveness increased by 75.02% to 79.71%. Increased the production line efficiency has impacted on the decrease in production costs Rp. 13,827,249/month.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internal control system for cash receipts and disbursements in cash sales and purchases at PT XYZ. The background of this study is based on problems in inaccurate cash transaction recording, incomplete transaction evidence, and the absence of clear standard operating procedures (SOPs), which have the potential to lead to errors and fraud. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, documentation, and observations of the cash receipt and disbursement process at the company. The results of the study indicate that there is still a duplication of functions between the cash and accounting departments and there are no surprise checks on cash. On the cash disbursement side, although authorization and supporting documents have been implemented properly, control practices are still weak. Furthermore, the absence of written SOPs and job descriptions can worsen the effectiveness of the company's internal control. The conclusion of this study is that the internal control system for cash receipts and disbursements for cash sales and purchases at PT XYZ cannot be said to be effective. Therefore, it is recommended that PT XYZ immediately develop and implement SOPs, separate important functions in the cash cycle, and implement job rotation to minimize the risk of fraud and improve the efficiency of financial management. Abstract

Low student interest in Islamic Religious Education subjects is one of the obstacles found in fifth-grade students at SDN Sukaharaja 3. This situation manifests as students' lack of attention during learning, rapid fatigue, and limited participation in educational activities. Strategies have been adopted to address this problem through the use of audiovisual materials that make the learning process more interesting and participatory. This study aims to investigate the use of audiovisual resources to increase the interest of fifth-grade students at SDN Sukaharaja 3. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, which takes place in two cycles, each including the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. Data collection is carried out through observation, testing, documentation, and assessment to measure student interest. The results of the study indicate that the use of audiovisual resources can increase student interest. In the first cycle, the average student engagement score reached 65% in the "sufficient" category, while in the second cycle it increased to 78% in the "good" catgory. Similarly, students' cognitive learning achievement also increased, obtaining an average score of 86, which is considered very good. The use of audiovisual materials encourages greater engagement, concentration, and enthusiasm in the educational process. Therefore, audiovisual media can be an effective alternative to increase students' interest and understanding in basic education.
