Abstract

Anxiety is an emotional disorder that is often experienced by mothers in labor. The effects of anxiety in childbirth can trigger the release of excess catecholamine levels, which can result in decreased blood flow to the uterus and can lead to prolonged labor during the active phase of labor. One of the non-pharmacological efforts to overcome this problem is murottal therapy. This study aims to determine the effect of Murottal Surat Ar-Rahman therapy on the level of anxiety in mothers during the active phase of labor at Esti Husada Clinic. The study used a Quasy Experiment design. Quantitative design using the Non-Equivalent Control Group. The sampling technique is Accidental sampling. The number of samples was 22 mothers who gave birth during the first stage of the active phase consisting of 11 respondents in the control group and 11 respondents in the experimental group. Quantitative data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. Results are obtained p-value=0.005, which means there is an effect of Murottal Surat Ar-Rahman therapy on the level of anxiety in the mother during the active phase of labor. The level of maternal anxiety level during the first stage of labor in the control group during the pretest (54.5%) and posttest (63.6%), namely at a moderate level of anxiety, while the anxiety level of the mother during the first stage of the active phase in the intervention group before doing murottal therapy is experiencing moderate anxiety (54.5%), but after being given murottal therapy it changed to mild anxiety (72.7%).

Abstract

"Free sex" generally refers to sexual activity occurring outside of a committed, exclusive relationship, often without the expectation of marriage. Adolescent sexuality is a multifaceted and intricate aspect of human development, laden with social and psychological complexities. Research within the Indonesian context reveals a concerning trend: a significant proportion of high school students initiate sexual activity during their formative years. This literature review delves into the multifaceted factors that shape adolescent sexual behavior, encompassing a range of influences such as religious beliefs, peer pressure, the quality of sex education received, and the pervasive impact of social media. A profound understanding of these intricate factors is paramount for the development of effective strategies that empower adolescents to make informed and responsible sexual decisions, ultimately fostering their healthy and holistic development. This study employed a Literature Review methodology, utilizing the PubMed and Google Scholar databases to identify relevant research articles. A total of 16 articles were initially retrieved, with 10 articles ultimately selected based on predefined criteria. The search focused on articles published between 2016 and 2023, prioritizing those available in full text, open access, and published in reputable scientific journals, both in English and Indonesian. A comprehensive review of the selected articles was then conducted, focusing on the specific research topic. The results showed that the factors that influence the occurrence of free sex in adolescents are: Religious Values (p value= 0.017, so p<0.05), the role of parents (p value= 0.002, so p<0.005), peers (p value = 0.005, then p<0.005), information media (p value= 0.003, then p<0.005), and socio-economics (p value= 0, then p<0,005). In conclusion, adolescent sexual activity is influenced by a complex interplay of factors, including religious values, parental guidance, peer influence, media exposure, and socioeconomic conditions. Addressing this issue requires a multifaceted approach that encompasses comprehensive sex education, strong family support, and efforts to mitigate the impact of socio-economic disparities.

Abstract

The population in Indonesia continues to increase until in 2018 it reached 263 million people. Unmet need for family planning is one of the obstacles to the management of family planning programmes in Indonesia that requires continuous handling. Unmet need has a high potential for unwanted pregnancies (KTD). Sumberrahayu Village is a small village in the Limbangan sub-district that has 137 PUS. Of the 137 PUS, only 90 PUS have family planning, and 47 PUS do not have family planning. Based on these problems, this community service aims to convert unmet need MHJP centres into MHJP family planning acceptors. The service began with identification of PUS, pretest of PUS knowledge about MHJP, followed by counselling with ABPK media, post-test of PUS knowledge, installation of MHJP alkon. All unmet need PUS were willing to become MHJP acceptors, namely the installation of MKJP contraceptives. After the installation of MHJP, all PUS did not experience any side effects after the installation of MKJP contraceptives. It is expected that health workers will increase intensive and maximum counselling to PUS unmet need.
