Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Membaca Permulaan Dengan Menggunakan Pendekatan Persuasif Siswa Kelas II SD Inpres Bere-Bere Kecil. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas II SD Inpres Bere-Bere Kecil, dengan waktu kurang lebih 3 bulan, tanggal 20 September sampai 20 Desember 2019. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SD Inpres Bere-Bere Kecil, semester ganjil 2019/2020, dengan jumlah siswa 20 orang, terdiri dari 13 orang perempuan dan 7 orang laki-laki Pada siklus I siswa yang berhasil 11 siswa (55%) dari jumlah keseluruhan 20 siswa (100%), sedangkan 9 siswa (45%) belum berhasil. Peneliti melakukan penelitian ke siklus II. Penelitian pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan dari 11 siswa (55%) yang berhasil, menjadi 17 siswa (85%) yang berhasil, sehingga peningkatan hasil belajar dari siklus I kesiklus II sebesar 30%. Hasil penelitian ini, karena penggunaan pendekatan pesruasif terhadap keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa sudah efektif dari guru. Berdasarkah hasil penelitian yang di lakukan dalam dua siklus, maka peneliti berkesimpulan bahwa penelitian dengam menggunakan pendekatan persuasif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan dengan materi tentang teks bacaan “Minggu Bersih” pada siswa Kelas II SD Inpres Bere-bere Kecil berhasil.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low reading comprehension ability of fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Gothalamo on Indonesian subjects. This is shown by the results of the researcher's observations on November 2, 2020, where most of the students (10 students) had low reading comprehension skills while a small percentage (3 students) were able to do reading comprehension well. This encourages researchers to conduct research, with the aim of being able to answer the problem of reading comprehension in class V SD Muhammadiyah 1 Gothalamo. The type of research used in this research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles, each cycle is carried out in 1 meeting. In order for this classroom action research to be successful, the researcher arranges the stages that are passed in classroom action research, namely: 1) Action Planning, 2) Action Implementation, 3) Observation, 4) Reflection. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Gothalamo as many as 24 students consisting of 11 boys and 13 girls. The results obtained by using the application of an integrative approach have increased from cycle I to cycle II seen from the classical percentage in cycle I, namely 37.5% and cycle II 83.33%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of an integrative approach can improve the reading comprehension skills of fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Gothalamo, South Morotai District, Morotai Island Regency.

Abstract

The research with the title of improving students' writing skills using the Student Facilitator And Explaining learning model in the fourth grade of SD Inpres Raja, South West Morotai District. This classroom action research was conducted on 17 students consisting of 9 boys and 8 girls, the research was conducted in two cycles. From the results of the research in the first cycle by following the stages of classroom action research (planning, implementing, observing and reflecting), the researchers got results that were not maximized, where the level of teacher activity in the first cycle was 57.5%, this resulted in poor learning outcomes. have not reached the classical completeness standard (80%) because of the 17 students who achieved the minimum completeness standard (KKM), 5 students (29.47%) and 12 students (70.53%) did not succeed. Judging from the first cycle, then in the second cycle, researchers made improvements to teaching methods so as to obtain maximum results. Thus the results of the research in cycle II according to the observer, the teacher was maximal in terms of implementing the Student Facilitator And Explaining learning model, where the teacher's activity in the second cycle was 90%, because the teacher's activity was maximized, the learning outcomes in the second cycle had reached the KKM standard. classic (80%). Of the 17 students who succeeded, namely 14 students (82.12%) and 3 students (17.88%), it can be concluded that the research in the second cycle has been successful, and there is no need to carry out further research in the next cycle. Meanwhile, 3 students who have not succeeded are only given remedial.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to find out, (1) the teacher's efforts in overcoming the reading difficulties of grade II students of SD Muhammadiyah V Morotai Island, (2) Factors that cause students not to be able to read. This research is qualitative. The result shows that the teacher's efforts in overcoming reading difficulties in the Muhammadiyah V school in Morotai Island are quite good, such as the work of teachers who teach has carried out their duties professionally based on their respective fields, providing additional lessons to students, in the form of tutoring, giving assignments and always repeating every lesson that has been learned. Meanwhile, the supporting factors to overcome reading difficulties include the teacher always supervising every child who is not fluent in reading to improve learning. Inhibiting factors in overcoming reading difficulties sometimes teachers have taught well but the infrastructure is not supportive, then children's interest is lacking in supporting.
