Abstract

The financial sector has a major influence on economic growth in Indonesia. Good modeling influences the accuracy of economic growth predictions and has an impact on the financial sector. Several models have been introduced to analyze the relationship between the two, but it is necessary to test which of these models is most appropriate. This research aims to find the best model of the financial sector's influence on economic growth in Indonesia. Three models were compared so that the best model was selected, namely the Bayesian Vector Autocorrelation (BVAR), Linear Regression, and Pseudo Poisson Maximum Likelihood (PPML) models. The comparison method was carried out to determine the best model from the third model using various criteria, and then an in-depth study of the best model was carried out by considering various diagnostic tests and stability tests. The analysis results show that the BVAR (2) model is the best model among the three existing models. However, some specific analysis results in the regression analysis model (such as the negative impact on CPS) and the PPML model (such as the high R-square) can be taken into consideration by policyholders in the financial sector in determining policies related to these areas for economic growth.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze electric vehicle (EV) safety as a component of value creation from the perspective of Service-Dominant Logic (SDL) using a literature review approach. In the context of a rapidly evolving and competitive EV industry, safety is no longer viewed solely as a technical attribute but as a critical element in shaping customer trust, satisfaction, and long-term loyalty. Accordingly, safety is positioned as an integral part of the value proposition offered to customers. The study was conducted between August and October 2025 through a systematic review of academic journals, industry reports, and relevant publications on electric vehicles and service management. The analysis employs descriptive and comparative techniques to synthesize prior research and identify key patterns. The findings reveal that EV safety is the result of a value co-creation process involving multiple actors—manufacturers, service providers, and users—within a service ecosystem. Key determinants include user knowledge and behavior, the reliability of charging infrastructure, the effectiveness of after-sales services, and the quality of digital interaction systems. These elements collectively shape customer perceptions of safety and overall value. The study further highlights that safety plays a strategic role in reducing perceived risk and strengthening customer confidence, particularly in emerging markets where adoption is still evolving. From a managerial perspective, the findings emphasize the importance of integrating safety into service-based strategies through customer education, infrastructure development, and continuous service engagement. In conclusion, managing safety as a co-created value rather than merely a technical feature enables firms to enhance customer experience and achieve sustainable competitive advantage in the EV market.

Abstract

Despite the widespread adoption of digital financial tools, the transition from manual to automated financial record-keeping among digital natives remains underexplored. This study aims to examine the role of digital applications in transforming personal financial management practices among Generation Z in Indonesia. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using semi-structured interviews conducted between August and October 2025 with students and young entrepreneurs at STIE Ganesha, selected through purposive sampling. The findings indicate that digital financial applications significantly shift financial practices from informal and inconsistent methods toward more structured and data-driven approaches. Commonly used applications, such as Money Lover, Money+, and Walletya, support expense tracking and financial evaluation. However, the level of utilization varies depending on users’ self-control and digital financial literacy. While these tools enhance financial awareness, they do not necessarily lead to sustained financial discipline. This study highlights that digital applications function primarily as facilitators rather than determinants of financial behavior. Their effectiveness depends on users’ ability to interpret and apply financial information. Therefore, strengthening digital financial literacy is essential to ensure that technology adoption leads to more sustainable financial practices among Generation Z

Abstract

This study examines fear of failure as a psychological barrier to entrepreneurial intention among students at STIE Ganesha and identifies factors shaping their risk perception. A qualitative phenomenological approach was employed, involving 12 undergraduate students (semesters 4–8) selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews and analyzed using Braun and Clarke’s thematic analysis. The findings show that 100% of informants experienced fear of failure, primarily in the form of fear of financial loss (83%), fear of social stigma (75%), and self-doubt (67%). Risk perception is influenced by overprotective family communication, exposure to negative business narratives on social media, and limited practical training in risk management. These results indicate that fear of failure is shaped not only by individual psychological factors but also by social and educational contexts. The study implies the importance of integrating risk management training and psychological coping strategies into entrepreneurship education, along with mentoring programs involving experienced entrepreneurs to strengthen students’ entrepreneurial readiness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution and optimization of local taxes in increasing Regional Original Revenue (PAD) in Nganjuk Regency. The study applies a descriptive quantitative approach by using secondary data on PAD realization and local tax revenues during 2016-2020, supported by interviews and documentation at the local revenue office. The results indicate that PAD increased nominally from Rp323.04 billion in 2016 to Rp403.08 billion in 2020, but the contribution of PAD to total regional income remained relatively low, indicating that fiscal independence has not been fully achieved. Local taxes became the most strategic PAD component after other legitimate PAD, with an average contribution of 25.64% to PAD and an average growth of 12.13% per year. The dominant local taxes were PBB-P2, street lighting tax, and BPHTB, while several taxes such as entertainment tax, parking tax, groundwater tax, and mineral tax contributed relatively small and fluctuating amounts. Optimization requires integrated intensification and extensification through data updating, digital transaction monitoring, taxpayer education, institutional coordination, and stronger supervision. The study concludes that strengthening local tax governance, transparency, and accountability is essential to build sustainable regional fiscal independence
