Abstract

The lesson plan is an important aspect that determines the success of learning in the classroom. Teachers must design learning that can relate the material being studied to the daily lives of students, for example, is through integrated local wisdom into science learning. The study aimed to develop a science learning set of local wisdom based on pressure materials in Junior High Schools. The research was research and development and used a 4D development model (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate). The subjects were material experts, media experts, and science teachers of junior high school. The instrument was a validation sheet of the learning set. Qualitative data were analyzed descriptively, and quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. This research produces a science learning set of local wisdom-based on pressure materials in junior high schools, consisting of syllabus, lesson plans, assessments, student worksheets, teaching materials, remedial and enrichment programs. The results of expert validation obtained a score of 89.60 with an excellent category. The results of the science teacher assessment were 92.38 with excellent category. In sum, the science learning set of local wisdom based on pressure material in junior high schools was valid and feasible to improve the understanding of science concepts.

Abstract

  The purpose of this study was to develop a learning device based on local wisdom of sound wave material for SMA class XI. This study uses a 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The learning tools that have been developed are validated by material experts, media experts, and teachers to determine their feasibility. The research instrument used is a validation sheet. Data were analyzed descriptively. The result of the development of this research is a learning device based on local wisdom of sound wave material for SMA class XI. The feasibility level of the product developed got 94% results in the very good category for material experts, 97% in the very good category for media experts, and 94% in the very good category for teachers. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the product of learning devices based on local wisdom of sound wave material for SMA class XI is feasible to use.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an e-module based on local wisdom for the momentum and impulses of Class X SMA. This research was a research and development that uses a 4-D development model consisting of 4 stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The subjects of this study were 2 material experts and media experts, as well as class X students at SMA Negeri 2 Jambi City, totaling 35 students. There were 2 types of data obtained, namely qualitative data and quantitative data. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, interview sheets, material and media expert validation sheets and student perception questionnaires. Qualitative data were analyzed descriptively and quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. This research produces e-modules based on local wisdom material on momentum and impulse. Jambi's local wisdom is used as a context to explore the concepts of momentum and impulse. The results of material validation obtained a percentage of 95.63% in the "Very Good" category and media experts at 94.90% in the "Very Good" category. The results of students' perceptions of e-modules based on local wisdom on momentum and impulse materials obtained a score of 89.66% in the "Very Good" category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku pengayaan fisika berkonteks etnosains pada permainan patok lele dan gobak sodor dan mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap buku pengayaan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini adalah dua ahli dan siswa SMAN 9 Kota Jambi dan SMAN 7 Kota Jambi. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi ahli, tes diagnostik, lembar wawancara, serta angket persepsi siswa. Jenis data yang diperoleh yaitu data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan buku pengayaan fisika pada permainan tradisional patok lele dan gobak sodor yang dicetak dalam ukuran A5. Hasil validasi buku pengayaan pada aspek materi diperoleh hasil 91% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik dan pada aspek media diperoleh hasil 93,75% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Hasil persepsi siswa buku pengayaan mendapatkan hasil 90,78% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul fisika berkonteks ethnophysics pada pokok bahasan gerak melingkar. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Dessiminate). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 7 Kota Jambi dan SMAN 9 Kota Jambi dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 30 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, lembar validasi ahli materi dan media, serta angket persepsi siswa. Jenis data yang diperoleh yaitu data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif dianalisis  secara deskriptif dan dan data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan e-modul fisika berkonteks ethnophysics pada pokok bahasan gerak melingkar. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi diperoleh persentase sebesar 95,93% dengan kategori sangat baik, ahli media sebesar 98,33% dengan kategori sangat baik, dan hasil persepsi siswa sebesar 88,9% dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

This research aims to exploring and reconstructing of indigenous knowledge of coffee processing in Kerinci into scientific knowledge. This research was qualitative using ethnoscience approach. The research was carried out at Coffee Nur Kerinci. The key informan were the owner and employees of Coffee Nur. Data collection was carried out through observation and deep interview. Qualitative data were analyzed descriptively using the Miles and Huberman models. The processing of Coffee Nur Kerinci carried out traditionally using simple tools. It consists of drying of coffee beans, roasting, cooling, pulverization, sifting, and packaging of coffee powder. Drying of coffee beans was carried out by the sun for 21 days with an average of five hours/day. The roasting process was carried out by using a roaster made of a drum that rotated on the stove. The pulverization was carried out by using a waterwheel as a driving force which was connected to eight pestles. Scientifically, the processing of Coffee Nur Kerinci can be reconstructed into scientific concepts regarding the classification of living things, heat and transfer, circular motion, collisions, and forces.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum adanya lembar kerja mahasiswa pada materi fluida, belum lengkapnya alat laboratorium, dan belum banyaknya praktikum yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik lembar kerja mahasiswa berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada materi fluida, mengetahui validitas lembar kerja mahasiswa berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada materi fluida, dan mengetahui respon mahasiswa pada uji lembar kerja mahasiswa berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada materi fluida. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Developmet) yang menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu satu orang ahli materi, satu orang ahli media, satu orang ahli bahasa dan mahasiswa yang sudah mempelajari matakuliah fisika dasar I yang terdiri dari 10 orang mahasiswa. Instrument pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi ahli dan angket mahasiswa. Data hasil validasi dan respon mahasiswa dianalisis secara deskriptif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan lembar kerja mahasiswa berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada materi fluida. Lembar kerja mahasiswa ini terdapat lima percobaan yaitu tekanan hidrostatik, hukum pascal, kapilaritas, viskositas dan manometer. Hasil validasi ahli materi yaitu 88% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil validasi ahli media yaitu 95,38% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil validasi ahli bahasa 80% dengan kategori baik. Hasil uji responden mahasiswa pada lembar kerja yang dikembangkan yaitu 89,84% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil disimpulkan bahwa produk lembar kerja mahasiswa berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada materi fluida layak digunakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik lembar kerja mahasiswa berbasis model problem based learning pada materi getaran dan gelombang, mengetahui validitas lembar kerja mahasiswa berbasis model problem based learning pada materi getaran dan gelombang, dan mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap uji lembar kerja mahasiswa berbasis model problem based learning pada materi getaran dan gelombang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang menggunakan model 4-D (Define, Design, Development, Desseminate). Subjek penelitian ini yaitu satu ahli materi, satu ahli media, satu ahli bahasa, dan mahasiswa yang sudah mempelajari fisika dasar 1 yang terdiri dari 11 mahasiswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi ahli dan angket mahasiswa. Data hasil validasi dan respon mahasiswa di analisis secara deskriptif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan lembar kerja mahasiswa berbasis model problem based learning. Lembar kerja mahasiswa ini terdapat tiga percobaan yaitu bandul matematis, gelombang stasioner, dan tangki riak. Hasil validasi ahli materi yaitu 98% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil validasi ahli media  yaitu 95% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil validasi ahli bahasa yaitu 91% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji responden mahasiswa pada lembar kerja mahasiswa yang dikembangkan yaitu 92,4% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli didukung dengan hasil uji responden maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa lembar kerja mahasiswa berbasis model problem based learning pada materi getaran dan gelombang layak digunakan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of student worksheets based on direct instruction on the material of magnitude and measurement. The study is a research and development (using the 4D model. This research phase includes Define, Design, and Development. The subjects of this study were one material expert, one media expert, one linguist and students who had studied the experimental physics course consisting of 10 students. The data collection instruments used were expert validation sheets and student questionnaires. Data validation results and student responses were analyzed descriptively. This study produced student worksheets based on direct instruction on quantities and measurements. This worksheet contains five experiments, namely length measuring instruments, mass measuring instruments, temperature measuring instruments, time measuring instruments, and current and voltage measuring instruments. The results of the material expert validation were 78% in the good category, the media expert validation results were 92% in the very good category, the linguist validation results were 91% in the very good category, and the test results of student respondents on the developed worksheet were 87.50% with very good category. Based on the results, it can be concluded that student worksheet products based on direct instruction on quantities and measurements are very feasible to use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of student worksheets based on the POE model on temperature and heat material, determine the validity of student worksheets based on the POE model on temperature and heat material, find out student responses to student worksheet tests based on the POE model on temperature and heat material. This research is a development research (Research and Development) that uses a 4-D model. This research phase includes Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The subjects in this study were material experts, media experts, and language experts as well as students who had completed Basic Physics I course consisting of 8 students. The data collection instruments used were expert validation sheets and student questionnaires. Data validation results and student responses were analyzed descriptively. The product developed is in the form of student worksheets that use the POE model syntax on temperature and heat material. The experiments contained in the LKM are the effect of heat on object temperature, the application of the black principle, heat transfer by conduction, and convection. The results of the material expert validation are 100% in the very good category. The validation results by media experts were 93.84% in the very good category. The validation results of language experts were 91.42% in the very good category. The test results of student respondents on the developed student worksheets were 91.1% in the very good category. Based on the validation results of several experts and supported by the results of the respondents, it can be concluded that student worksheets based on the POE model on temperature and heat are appropriate to use.
