Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul’’Pengaruh Gaya Mengajar  Guru Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa di MAN 1 Aceh Besar ’’ Adapun yang menjadi tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya mengajar guru terhadap prestasi belajarsiswa Di MAN1 Aceh Besar. Sampel penelitian adalah para siswa kelas X, XI dan XI yang berjumlah38 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 1 Minggu yaitu bulan Agustus 2018 Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala Likert (Likert’s Summated Ratings). Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear Sederhana untuk menguji pengaruh antara setiap variabel penelitian. Dari hasil pengujian parsial (ujit) gaya mengajar guru (X) terhadap prestasi belajar (Y), diketahui lain nilai sig 0,05 atau thitung ttabel  dimana ttabel­ =2,024, jadi hipotesis penelitian yang menyatakan bahwa “terdapat pengaruh gaya mengajar guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di MAN 1 Aceh Besar” dapat diterima. Dengan demikian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh gaya mengajar seorang guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, berarti semakin baik gaya seorang guru dalam mengajar maka semakin baik pula prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

The research aimed to find out if the students of MTsN 2 Banda Aceh who were taught vocabulary using experiential learning got a higher score than those who were taught without experiential learning. This research was conducted using pre-experiment with one class; pre-test and post-test design. The population of this research was the eighth-grade students. The total population of this study was 114 students composed of five classes; VIII-1, VIII-2, VIII-3, and VIII-4. Every class consists of about 28 students. The sample of this research was class VIII-1 of the eighth grade because the students’ ability of this class was better than the other classes. The data were taken through the test. Then, the obtained data were analyzed by using the gain score (GS). The result of this research showed that the GS was 0.32. Meaning that there was a difference between the students’ ability in mastering vocabulary before and after teaching using experiential learning and the difference was 0.32 points or 32%. Therefore, the student’s ability in mastering vocabulary increased 32% with experiential learning. Keywords: Teaching, Learning process, Experiential learning, Vocabulary.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan keluarga lingkungan, terhadap motivasi belajar, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh yang dilaksanakan pada 30 Juli s/d 2 Agustus 2018. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 39 orang siswa SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh yang diambil secara random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan observasi. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Secara parsial lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh diperoleh koefisien regresi sebesar 0,57 dan diperoleh thitung = 15,26 dengan taraf signifikansi ???? = 0,05. 2). Secara parsial lingkungan sekolah berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh dengan thitung = 5,26. 3) Secara simultan lingkungan keluarga dan lingkungan sekolah berpengaruh sangat tinggi terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh sebesar 46,86. Nilai rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 4,4 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh berada pada kategori baik.

Abstract

Domestic violence has increased since the COVID-19 pandemic's early 2020 in many countries, including Vietnam. The violence sholud be solved. We examine 300 sample units, including 150 men and 150 women with wife status in the urban Vietnamese community, using the convenience sample and the norm sample. Results showed that domestic abuse by men is 32% more common than by women (22%). When they were asked about their feelings after inflicting acts of domestic violence on their spouses, the majority of violent offenders 64.7% said they felt regret and guilt. According to the poll, 4.8% of victims are women who do not want to engage in social activities because they feel helpless. They also feel  weak as a result of the violence they have experienced. Then, it was a great concerns related to this domestic violence because of COVID-19 pandemic. Abstract

Online learning has been become a trend as media in teaching and learning. This digital learning media used in various levels of education, from basic to tertiary levels. This fact is not only because of Covid-19 has been taking place for some years ago, but it has been becoming innevatable teaching and learning modes nowadays. Nevetheless, for some developing countries, including Indonesia, online learning implementation still challenges. This reserach investigated teachers readiness to use those technologies devices to run classroom by using online learning. Research sample of primary school teachers were 55 Indonesian teachers.The data were analyzed using the simple percentage method. The results shows there are teachers face challeges in using online learing. I related to teachers competencies and limited online infrastructure available. These two situation need to be paid attention by schools as well the government particularly telecommunication department. Training and mentoring as well as expanded access to fast internet connection required for online teaching would be the suggestion of the study.   Keywords: Online Teaching, Online Learning, Technology Education

Abstract

The purpose of this study is based on exploratory research to identify “Challenges in Quality of Education in HEIs of Pakistan”. The exploratory research approach is used to achieve the objectives of the study in less time and with inexpensive means. For the last few years, Pakistan is facing a lot of challenges in the education sector such as curriculum, few training institutions, corruption in education, teachers’ behavior, and less research work. Emerging Issues in the education sector are fewer training institutions and the trend toward research work which is essential to follow for the growth and strength of any economy. The purpose of our research is to identify the major challenges in the educational sector in Pakistan which the educational sector is suffering for the last few years. The researcher used triangulation to carry out the reliability and validity of the data for results. So, to conduct this triangulation the researcher used questionnaires for the students, questionnaires for the teachers, and interviews with the management. . In this regard primary data was collected from the focused group of students using a sample of 100 questionnaires for each university filled by the students of the selected five universities. The findings highlight the positive relationship of quality education with curriculum, few training institutions, corruption in education, teachers’ behavior, and less research work. These challenges caused restrictions in accomplishing competent teaching and learning with respect to quality education. According to the current situation in Pakistan, the same challenges are being faced. Keywords: Curriculum, Corruption, Teacher’s Behavior, Research Work.

Abstract

The Covid-19 disaster has prompted the adjustment of the learning process at various levels of education from basic to tertiary levels. The adjustments of the teachers to the disaster included the use of Distance Learning (PJJ). Therefore, a research was conducted that aimed at how prepared the teacher was in the use of the intended PJJ technology; case study of learning during the covid-19 period in Banda Aceh. The research sample of primary school teachers and madrasah Ibtidaiyah amounted to 55 people. Data collection tools are interviews and questionnaires containing statements with answers provided. The data were analyzed using the percentage method. The results of the study indicate that in general school/madrasah teachers have limitations in using online software for the learning process. Even though the teachers have good readiness manually in preparation for learning, they have not able yet to compile well in soft copy as learning material to be presented in PJJ. Therefore, continuous training and mentoring is needed so that teacher competence continues to increase, especially in the use of technology for PJJ.
