Abstract

Shift sebagai organisasi dakwah telah menjalankan komunikasi dakwah yang berbeda khususnya dalam pembentukan situasi komunikasi dakwah bagi pemuda. Penggunan media sosial dalam pembentukan situasi menjadikan komunikasi dakwah Shift sebagai salah satu pembaharu model dakwah dengan memadukan subtansi dakwah dengan media dakwah yang tentunya menarik untuk diteliti. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis situasi komunikasi dakwah Shift pada jamaah. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan dalam peneltiian ini adalah etnografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Shift dalam melakukan komunikasi dakwah begitu berusaha membentuk situasi dakwah yang sesuai dengan karakteristik pemuda. Setelah situasi terbentuk, Shift lebih mudah mengontrol pesan dakwah melalui kalimat yang jamak digunakan pemuda sehingga fantasi-fantasi kalimat dakwah yang dikatakan Ustadz dapat diresapi oleh para jamaah. Adapun pola pembentukan situasi melalui fantasi pesan tetap memperhitungkan subtansi nilai Islam khususnya dalam rangka menguatkan istiqomah atau setidaknya pemuda mau mencoba untuk berhijrah. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the government's disaster mitigation communication in this case the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of west Java Province in the face of earthquakes caused by the Lembang fault. This research was conducted using qualitative research method. The research approach is a case study, using Haddow's theory of disaster communication strategy. As the subject of his research is the Regional Disaster Management Agency of West Java Province (BPBD Jabar). This research data was obtained through in-depth interviews and Library studies. The results showed that disaster mitigation communication conducted by the Regional Disaster Management Agency of West Java Province (BPBD Jabar) has not been carried out to the maximum because it is not a top priority so it does not have a clear pattern in disaster mitigation communication, although it has held mitigation programs such as: 1. Socialization of disaster risk areas 2. Disaster response training 3. Installation of Road Maps and Evacuation Signs assisted by the community / disaster volunteers. 4. Create educational media for school children (video animation). 5. establish a disaster preparedness village. These programs have not been conducted intensively plus BPBD Jabar itself does not have a disaster mitigation communication team that focuses on providing understanding to the community regarding the risk of earthquake disasters due to the fault of lembang.

Abstract

Abstrak This article aims to explain how BBC News Indonesia describes cases of hoax reporting related to hatred carried out and the expulsion of Rohingya refugees in the Aceh region of Indonesia, using a critical paradigm discourse analysis approach (Critical Discourse Analysis) modeled by van Dijk. The Rohingya ethnic group itself is an ethnic minority who are Muslim and of course the massacre of this ethnic group has sparked criticism from various parts of the world, including Indonesia, which is predominantly Muslim. The news about the Rohingya case has become confusing and there is a lot of hoax reporting in various media in Indonesia, one of which is media anonymously, issues and news like this can influence readers to believe the news. According to Can Dijk (2004), there are two main discursive strategies in reporting on an individual/group in the media, and these strategies are related to "THEM". The us vs them labeling is realized through several discourse strategies, including: the strategy of submitting authoritative arguments, the strategy of using passive sentences and the number game strategy. Several discourse strategies are used by the media - in this case BBC News Indonesia - to give positive labels (positive self-presentation) or (negative other-presentation) to the individuals/groups being reported on.

Abstract

Excessive and unwise use of social media among adolescents has become a serious concern regarding its impact on mental health. Various studies show that uncontrolled use of social media can trigger various problems such as low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and even the desire to end life. In response to this, the community service team designed a mentoring program to equip school students with the knowledge and skills to use social media wisely. In this program, students will gain an in-depth understanding of the negative impact of uncontrolled social media use. They will also be trained to manage their time and manage their social media use, think critically in assessing online content, and manage emotions and stress related to social media activities. In addition to providing materials, the program also provides simulation sessions where students can practice wise strategies in dealing with various scenarios of social media use. Through this comprehensive mentoring program, it is hoped that students can acquire adequate skills to use social media wisely. Thus, they can avoid various mental health problems that often arise due to uncontrolled use of social media. The results of this program are expected to make a significant contribution to efforts to maintain the mental health of adolescents in today's digital era.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or commonly called UMKM are business activities or businesses run by individuals, households or small business entities. Based on a Bank Indonesia survey, 87.5 percent of UMKM were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Of this amount, around 93.2 percent of them were negatively affected on the sales side. With this background, the team conducted copywriting training and training related to digital marketing at one of the UMKM Business Centers in Bojongsoang District, Buah Batu Village, Bandung City. This service is carried out to increase sales by utilizing digital platforms. The ability to write in the media market place is very important to create a brand awareness effect on potential consumers. The problem is that partners have not been able to create captions, taglines, descriptions for products that will be stored in the marketplace storefront. In addition, related to digital marketing planning, the service team brought students to provide material according to what was learned in lectures. This service activity uses a contextual approach method, namely providing theoretical material first and followed by guidance and assistance to partners in making copywriting and digital marketing planning techniques. Then proceed with the facilitation method in creating content that can be uploaded directly on the marketplace or on their social media

Abstract

Media Sosial Sebagai Media Pendidikan Islam. Kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual didapatkan dari pendidikan agama yang baik, ditambah dengan pendidikan agama yang terbuka dan menerima perkembangan jaman yang semakin mengglobal ini. Perkembangan teknologi internet dalam dunia pendidikan pun makin ramah dengan situs jejaring youtube Pesan_Trend. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan etnografi virtual yang mengamati komunikasi media pembelajaran siswa di youtube channel Pesan_Trend berkaitan dengan perilaku komunikasi dalam tema kebudayaan tertentu. Pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai media pembelajaran Pesan_Trend dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam itu sendiri,  dimana pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dapat berorientasi pada media pembelajaran berbasis online yang inovatif seperti platform Youtube. Tersedianya media pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam alternatif yang berbasis pada media sosial (online) untuk pengajaran pendidikan agama Islam dapat memberikan kemudahan kepada  guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam melaksakan proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan media pembelajaran berbasis online yakni media sosial. Pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai media pendidikan agama Islam adalah memberi imbas dengan landasan yang mendasar bagi guru pendidikan agama Islam untuk memilih metode serta media pembelajaran yang inovatif yang sesuai dengan tuntutan pendidikan saat ini.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how da'wah communication plays a role in shaping social change through the lifestyle of "hijrah" youth in Bandung City. The hijrah phenomenon, which has grown among urban youth, not only represents a resurgence of religiosity but also signifies a transformation in values, behavior, and social identity influenced by modern da'wah, especially through digital media. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method on several hijrah communities in Bandung, such as Pemuda Hijrah (Shift) and Shab Alqo. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation of digital da'wah activities. The results show that the hijrah movement among the younger generation in Bandung, particularly through communities like Pemuda Hijrah (Shift) and Shab Alqo, has had a significant impact on positive social change. This change is evident in the increased participation of youth in religious activities, a shift toward a more Islamic lifestyle, and the effective and interactive use of social media as a means of da'wah. Young people involved in hijrah communities tend to avoid promiscuity, be more selective in their entertainment consumption, and actively engage in religious studies, social activities, and the production of digital da'wah content. Moreover, these communities serve as platforms for religious identity expression, strengthen social networks based on Islamic values, and contribute to building a collective awareness to live more meaningful and spiritually and socially responsible lives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the da'wah communication strategies used by religious figures in delivering Islamic messages through the YouTube platform. In the digital era, social media has become a primary means for spreading da'wah more broadly, quickly, and interactively. YouTube, as a video-based medium, enables preachers or religious figures to reach audiences across different ages, regions, and social backgrounds. This research adopts a qualitative approach using a case study method by observing and analyzing the da'wah content of several religious figures: Ustadz Abdul Somad, Ustadz Adi Hidayat, and Ustadz Khalid Basalamah. The results indicate that da'wah in the digital era, particularly through platforms like YouTube, has evolved rapidly, allowing preachers to reach wider audiences with creative and relevant content. Ustadz Abdul Somad (UAS) utilizes social media with a communicative approach involving humor and simple language, adapting his messages to the social and cultural context of the audience, making it accessible to various groups. Ustadz Adi Hidayat combines a systematic educational approach with an academic style that is easy to grasp, leveraging platform features to broaden his reach and build a dynamic learning community. Meanwhile, Ustadz Khalid Basalamah adopts a heartfelt preaching method, such as Mau'izhoh Hasanah, and engages in real actions through social and educational activities, actively interacting with his audience through comments to strengthen two-way communication. These three figures have successfully utilized technology to spread Islamic values effectively and innovatively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms and strategies of da'wah communication implemented within a creative Muslim community, focusing on the Hijrah Yuk Ngaji Community. This community is known as a platform for young people who promote the spirit of da'wah through contemporary approaches and digital media. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document studies. The results of the study show that the Yuk Ngaji Community has successfully implemented effective and adaptive da'wah communication strategies tailored to the characteristics of the younger generation by utilizing various da'wah models such as bil-lisan (verbal preaching), bil-qalam (written preaching), and bil-hal (preaching through actions). This community does not solely rely on lectures or Islamic studies but actively uses social media and digital platforms as the main tools for delivering communicative, relevant, and inspiring da'wah messages. Member involvement in the da'wah process and a structured cadre system further strengthen Yuk Ngaji’s role as a platform for spiritual, intellectual, and social development, thereby enabling the creation of a young Muslim generation that not only comprehensively understands Islamic teachings but also applies them in daily life and contributes positively to their surroundings.

Tersedianya media pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam alternatif yang berbasis pada media sosial (online) untuk pengajaran pendidikan agama Islam dapat memberikan kemudahan kepada  guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam melaksakan proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan media pembelajaran berbasis online yakni media sosial. Pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai media pendidikan agama Islam adalah memberi imbas dengan landasan yang mendasar bagi guru pendidikan agama Islam untuk memilih metode serta media pembelajaran yang inovatif yang sesuai dengan tuntutan pendidikan saat ini.
