Abstract

This research was conducted in Harapan Jaya Village, Pangkalan Kuras Sub-district, Pelalawan Regency. With the formulation of the problem (1) How the system of implementation of jagongan tradition on baby’ Sepasaran at Harapan Jaya Village Pangkalan Kuras subdistrict Pelalawan regency. The purpose of this research is to know the system of jagongan tradition in baby’s sepasaran for Javanese people in Harapan Jaya Village Pangkalan Kuras Subdistrict of Pelalawan Regency, to rules procedure jagongan tradition on baby’s sepasaran for Javanese people in Harapan Jaya Village Pangkalan Kuras Sub-district, Pelalawan Regency to know the difference execution of jagongan tradition at baby’s sepasaran for Java society in Harapan Jaya Village Pangkalan Kuras Sub-district of Pelalawan Regency. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with the research subjects selected by purposive sampling that the selection of informants in this study determined deliberately. With the number of informants as many as 8 respondents, the data collection taken from the primary data is the direct data concerning the opinion of the informant about the research variables obtained from the answers of interviews and secondary data is data obtained to complete the data. With data collection techniques such as observation (observation), interviews, and documentation. So get respondents 1 person key informant, 5 respondents, and 2 respondents as local community. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that the tradition of baby jagongan is very suitable and become its own characteristic of rural Javanese society that prioritizes the sense of kinship and empathy. Baby jagongan tradition is only done when there is a baby only and carried out from the birth of the baby up to seven hari.tradisi baby jagongan filled with playing cards playing cards, dominoes, chess, and other games. Benefit from the implementation of baby jagongan that can be gathered with relatives, supplies of equipment and baby supplies helped, relationships among other villagers more closely, the atmosphere of the house to be crowded, and the mother who had just given birth feel comforted and someone to accompany. One of the intentions of this jagongan is as a congratulation to families who have a celebration without giving something memorable like money and goods. Abstract

The purpose of research to known charateristics voters and response of regional head election 2015 at desa pulau padang kecamatan singingi kabupaten kuantan singingi. This research is located at desa pulau padang. The study using the research methods quantitative descriftive with how to use a list of data the selection remains in desa pulau padang. To know how the charateristics of the people to selection bupati and deputy bupati and how the response of againts the results of regional head election at desa pulau padang kecamatan singingi kabupaten kuatan singingi. For the data collection of respondent and used methode observasi and for processing data used a quantitative deskriftive method to the people or someone in voters bupati and deputy bupati cnaraterististic in the regional head election is also very needed, and how to respons to the society against the regional head election because previously of the former bupati is a family of kondidat numbers 1, as bupati and deputy bupati has been designated now how to response of the results of this research of the election for people who are not choise while voters. The results of the research is that as charateristic voters in the desa pulau padang kecamatan singingi kabupaten kuantan singingi of obtained by 78,61%. It shows that the characteristies of voters against the selection is good and the response of against the reseluts of the regional head election then be seen from the rekaputation response and attaced of 75,61%, that the response of against the results of regional head election 2015 in desa pulau padang is good.Key word: Characteristics, Response, Society, Voters

Abstract

This research was condectad in the village district of Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru Sail with the formulation of the problems that are (1) what are the forms of empowerment program the poor families in tne village district of Tenayan Raya Sail? (2) How is the response of the society tourads empowerment program in the village district of Tenayan Raya Sail? The pupose of this research is to know of the empowerment program forms a poor family in the village of the Sail to figure out a response toword the govermemnt’s empowerment program in district of Sail. This research was used descriptive quantitative research methods, the sample in this research was took by used the formula by slovin took 10% of the total population. To collect the data of the research by using questioner and observastion the result of this research can be known. The empowerment program forms a poor family in the village of the Sail that is aiming at the fulfillment of basic needs such as the basic food consumtion to the people of rural pool in the prencence of poor rice and cas assistance (BLT), the existence of the neighborhood businesses save program loan (UEK-SP) the existence of program UKM, the existence of a free health service by using card JAMKESMA or JAMKESDA, the presence of smart card, loan, cooperative family program expectations. The society gave a good responde to the government`s empowerment program, but a response to the government`s empowerment program implementation was still less good because in the government`s proverty reduction still tess timety in sharing of poor rice and money direct assistance in cash and leasr the citizens who got smart card.Keywords : Response, Society, Empowerment Program

Abstract

The Seven Months is a tradition or custom of traditional ceremonies carried out in the 7th (seventh) month of the first pregnancy for a woman. Seventh monthly implementation is still often carried out by Sundanese people in Lubuk Kerapat Village, Rambah Hilir District, Rokan Hulu Regency. Although this Nujuh Bulan tradition does not exist in Islam, the Sundanese people in particular still carry out the Nujuh Bulan tradition as a gratitude to Allah Subhanahuwata'ala as the creator and the giver of sustenance and gifts to humans and children is one of the many gifts given. The main focus of this research is on the meaning and value of the symbols in the tradition of Nujuh Bulan Sundanese Indigenous people in Lubuk Kerapat Village. This study uses Max Weber's theory of social action, Herbert Blummer's symbolic interactionism, and George Herbert Mead's theory of meaning. The research method used by the author is field research by collecting data through observation and interviews. The sources of the data used were the informants involved and those who were considered to understand the tradition, namely paraji, pregnant women who carried out the Nujuh Bulan tradition, families of pregnant women, and the people of Lubuk Kerapat Village. While the method of data analysis using qualitative methods and the determination of the subject of the research using purposive sampling technique, the researcher makes certain criteria who are used as informants. The people of Lubuk Kerapat village have high values of solidarity and mutual cooperation, therefore life in the village is always harmonious. The tradition of the Sundanese Indigenous Month is that there are procedures for the procession, namely selametan, pengajian, siraman, and finally selling rujak. Abstract

The family is the smallest unit or institution in the midst of the community, the family generally consists of father, mother and child, but there are also families that only have mothers and children, of which mothers are single parents in a family or more known as single parent. This study aims to determine the characteristics of single parent families and the implementation of single parent family functions. The method of this research is qualitative, the sample in this study are six single parent people in Kopah Village, Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The results of this study indicate that the family characteristics of the six subjects in this study had a good relationship between mothers and their children. Even effective communication between parents and children is established, harmonious relationships are established between their children, mingling with the community, and carrying out religious orders properly. The six subjects in this study also succeeded in carrying out the socialization function to shape behavioral patterns, attitudes, ideals and values in society. The function of (affection) is carried out well, that is, all subjects give affection to their children, especially a mother who has an affection for all time. Likewise with the protection function (protection) all subjects in this study always provide protection to their children. For economic functions to run well, because, all subjects are able to meet their daily needs and even enough to fulfill the family's economy. Keywords: Role, Mother, Single Parents, Characteristics, Family Function

Abstract

Education is one of the important things in society component. Every children mustget education since young. This is different with the society in Desa TambusaiKecamatan Rumbio Jaya Kabupaten Kampar. There are still many the youngchildren are not feel the play group. The play group in Desa Tambusai comeperception abaout it’s play group. It can see from the parents’ back ground thatmake’s the perception about play group. This research is done as the effort to tellparents’ perception about play group and the factor that impluence parents’decision for not entering their children to play group. Responden of the researchare parents are not entering play group they are 97 people. The writer usekuantitative descriftive method and the data is analyzed with kuantitative and usetotal quota sampling technique. The data instruments are observation, quisoner anddocumentation. From the research was done, the writer met respondent perceptionabout play group in the Desa Tambusai is positive with percentage is 68%. It meansthe parents and respondents in Desa Tambusai Kecamatan Rumbio JayaKabupaten Kampar agree with play group their children. From the result of thedata, parents participation to follow their children to the play group is still low withpwercentage 18,4%. The factor that impluence parents’ decision and responden fornot entering their children to play group is economic factor with percentage is 63%.Key Word : Perception, Parents’Decision, Play Group, Desa Tambusai

Abstract

Pasar Selasa Panam or often referred to as the Pasar Selasa community is one of the traditional markets located on the HR road. Soebrantas Simpang Baru Panam, Pekanbaru City. Initially, the Pasar Selasa was just a shock market which was open every Tuesday, but as the market went on Tuesday the community was very interested so that demand was getting higher, due to the increasing public demand, the Pasar Selasa was open every day and many traders saw this opportunity to make a living no exception the merchant who came from outside the Panam area. The presence of immigrant sellers at the Pasar Selasa is a special concern on how newcomers can trade on the Pasar Selasa. Through Robert D. Putnam's theory, the theory of social capital explains that there is social capital that occurs among the migrant warriors on the Pasar Selasa. Through social capital owned by migrant traders, it can be explained that migrant workers have a social network in the process of being able to trade on the Pasar Selasa. The social networks owned by migrant warriors on the Tuesday Market provide access to migrant traders to be able to fly on the Pasar Selasa. Keywords: Market, Traders, Social Capital

Abstract

Non-Governmental Organizations become a representative forum that protects, aspires and overshadows the surrounding community, the role of LMB in this research is seen based on the implementation of its work program and the benefits of the implementation of its work program, where if the LMB LSM can implement its work program and the work program implemented has an impact both for the community, especially the Malay tribe in Tenayan Subdistrict, besides this research reveals the purpose, vision and mission, role and profile of the LMB LSM in Tenayan Raya sub-district whether its management is appropriate, how the community responds to this institution and LSM efforts LMB in preserving Malay culture in order to maintain its existence in this Lancang Kuning earth. The profile of the LSM LMB examined this time is located in Tenayan Raya Subdistrict where the area is actually the majority of immigrants or non-Malay ethnic natives in Pekanbaru, the researchers selected 4 informants who will be interviewed, they are members or administrators of LMB LSM Tenayan Raya sub-district . Data retrieval of the research was carried out by interview, observation and documentation. Abstract

The main duties and functions of the government apparatus are increasingly in the spotlight of the community because they get good services, the rights of the community, while the apparatus increase service participation, with basic principles of service that are simple, fast, precise, orderly, cheap, transparent and non-discriminatory. First, Society not only demands more efficient, and satisfying services, but also wants behavior that is more responsive and reflects propriety, ethical balance and wisdom. Second, The public is more critical in assessing the services provided by the government, especially at the village government level, something that become of the focus of the community with include public services or community services. However, This research is strived to find out how the comunity's response to the services provided by the village apparatus such as correspondence services and others,  according to operational standards at the Tampan Payung Sekaki district office. In other words, The sample of this research is people who has job at the Tampan Payung Sekaki district office with total 77 person. Next, The researcher used quantitative descriptive methods and the data  analyzed by using quantitatively and data instruments by using observation, questionnaires and documentation. Besides, From the research conducted, the reseracher found out that the community response to the service of urban village officials at the Tampan District Office of Payung Sekaki was good. Moreover, The response to the ability of the apparatus is 85.7% and the response to the service system is good or positive with a percentage of 66.0%.  Keywords : Response, Service, Community

Abstract

This research was conducted in Kelurahan Sail Tenayan Raya District. This study clims to know the prential care patterns in Kelurahan Sail Tenayan Raya District was eximined by qualitative descriptive analysis. In this study, the writer collected the data by direct interview technique in research location. The responden in this study amount 7 people, namely 5 the mother of the deaf children, a teacher and a doctor. The instruments used in this study are the questions as interview materials, photos and video recording too. The result of this study indicate that the parenting tendenas applied by parent to deaf children is permissive, which provide loose supervision to the children to something without adequate supervision from their parents. The parenting implemented through family function. The deafness which is happened by children make the parents difficullty for keeping even communicating with the deaf children. The deaf children use sign language and action as a communication between parent and other peolple around them. The role of teachers in the school is that continue to educate children, shaping the character, the child personality and improve the language or intellectual ability of the child. The role of doctors is very important in the people handlig with hearing impairment including children who are deafned. Doctors play a role in dealing with deaf children.Key words : Parenting, Parents, Deafness.
