Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the influence of compensation, regulations, and supervision on the work discipline of teachers at MAN 3 Langkat. The population of this research comprised all civil servant and PPPK teachers at MAN 3 Langkat, totaling 40 employees. The sample size taken was 40 respondents, using a saturated sampling technique. The research was conducted in 2024. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires to produce primary quantitative data measured with a Likert scale, which was then processed with SPSS 24 using multiple linear regression methods. The results showed that compensation, regulations, and supervision, both partially and simultaneously, had a positive and significant effect on the work discipline of teachers at MAN 3 Langkat. The t-test (partial) results indicated that compensation had a regression value of 0.332, t-value = 3.697, and significance = 0.001. Regulations had a regression value of 0.365, t-value = 5.242, and significance = 0.000. Supervision had a regression value of 0.220, t-value = 3.456, and significance = 0.001. The F-test (simultaneous) results showed an F-value = 226.049 and significance = 0.000. The t-table value was 2.028, and the F-table value was 2.866, thus t-value > t-table and F-value > F-table with a significance value > 0.05, meaning Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The hypotheses were proven true and acceptable as the research results were consistent with the hypotheses. Regulations were the most dominant variable affecting work discipline, with a t-value of 5.242. Approximately 94.5% of work discipline could be explained and obtained from compensation, regulations, and supervision, while the remaining was due to other factors. Work discipline had a very strong relationship with compensation, regulations, and supervision.

Abstract

Kinerja guru memegang peranan penting dalam menentukan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah. Namun, di SMK Negeri 1 Sirapit Kabupaten Langkat, hasil prasurvei menunjukkan kinerja guru yang rendah, disertai dengan motivasi kerja yang lemah serta kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pencarian tahu dampak gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah, juga dorongan semangat bekerja terhadap hasil kerja guru. Untuk mencapai tujuan ini, penelitian memanfaatkan metode kuantitatif, yang melibatkan penggunaan metode regresi linier berganda dan melibatkan 48 responden guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai koefisien 0,766 (p = 0,000), dan motivasi kerja juga berpengaruh signifikan dengan koefisien 0,248 (p = 0,018). Secara simultan, kedua variabel menjelaskan 87,7% variasi terhadap kinerja guru. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan kualitas kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan penguatan motivasi kerja berdampak langsung pada peningkatan kinerja guru.

Abstract

Penelitian  dilakukan karena palang parkir yang menjadi komponen utama dalam sistem parkir tidak dapat dikontrol tanpa menggunakan personal computer (PC) yaitu laptop. Pada penelitian sebelumnya, untuk menunjang image processing yaitu face recognition dan plate recognition harus menggunakan laptop. Sehingga pada saat laptop tidak tersedia maka alat tidak dapat difungsikan. Oleh karena itu, penulis melakukan pengembangan dengan menggunakan raspberry pi 4B yang menjadi PC sehingga memudahkan sistem parkir untuk difungsikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan tingkat keberhasilan plate recognition yang sebelumnya terdapat kekurangan pada kualitas gambar dari kamera. Penulis juga mengubah sistem ID pengguna yang dari face recognition menjadi sensor radio frequency identification (RFID). Metode penelitian dilakukan mulai dengan perancangan desain project, perakitan komponen mekanik  dan elektronik, pembuatan program image processing untuk deteksi plat kendaraan, dan trial and error sehingga alat dapat difungsikan secara optimal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, sistem ID pengguna yang diterapkan menggunakan RFID sangat baik dengan tingkat keberhasilan 100%. Adapun pada image processing belum ada peningkatan secara signifikan namun deteksi gambar plate dapat dilakukan dari depan, sudut kiri, dan sudut kanan. Sistem parkir ini dapat diakses jika pengguna kendaraan roda dua memiliki kartu yang telah terdaftar dan plat nomor kendaraan dapat dideteksi pada saat masuk sesuai dengan pada saat keluar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic economic principles in human resource management at Sabar Abadi Welding and Construction Business of Syubbanul Wathon Islamic Boarding School. This research employs a qualitative approach using a field study design. Data analysis was conducted interactively following the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that human resource management in this pesantren business reflects Islamic values through work as worship, commitment to excellence, cooperation, honesty, and responsibility. These values have shaped a productive, ethical, and fair work culture. The application of Islamic economic principles in santri work practices not only improves efficiency and work quality but also fosters spiritual awareness and social responsibility. This study is expected to serve as a model for developing Islamic human resource management in other pesantren-based business units to strengthen economic independence based on Islamic values.

Abstract

This paper presents the design and development of an internet of things (IoT)-based automatic waste sorting system that classifies waste into four categories: organic, non-organic, metal, and others. The system integrates an Arduino Mega for control, multiple proximity sensors (inductive, capacitive, and infrared), and ultrasonic sensors for level detection, and a NodeMCU ESP8266 for real-time monitoring via the Blynk platform. A total of 100 tests (25 per bin) were conducted. Classification success rates were 92% (metal), 80% (inorganic), 84% (organic), and 100% (others), resulting in an overall accuracy of 89%. The main contribution is a combined automatic sorting and IoT monitoring framework suitable for campus-scale deployment.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a compressor fluid monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) for industrial weighing machines at PT. Eastern Pearl Flour Mills, supporting the implementation of Industry 4.0. The system is designed to monitor pressure, flow, and fluid temperature in real-time, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of machine operations. The research process includes the design of precise measuring instruments and a monitoring system utilizing ESP8266 and LoRa Ra-02 technology for data transmission. Fluid sensor data is processed and displayed via a web-based platform and an Android application. The study also involves sensor calibration to ensure accuracy, as well as system performance evaluation through experimental methods, user testing, and data analysis. The results of this research are expected to significantly improve process efficiency and control in weighing machines, providing a strong foundation for IoT technology implementation in operational management within the flour milling industry.

Abstract

Permainan bola basket konvensional membutuhkan ruang luas dan biaya tinggi, sedangkan pencatatan skor manual rawan salah. Mesin basketball arcade ditawarkan sebagai solusi yang lebih praktis dan terjangkau dengan dua kunci teknologi sensor inframerah (IR) untuk mendeteksi bola masuk (skor) secara otomatis, serta aktuator motor DC untuk menggerakkan ring kiri–kanan dan motor servo untuk mekanisme penahan/pelepasan bola agar permainan menantang namun tetap terkontrol. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghitung poin/score dengan menggunakan sensor inframerah, serta meningkatkan tantangan bermain dengan menggunakan aktuator untuk menggerakan ring ke kiri dan ke kanan. Mesin basketball arcade ini juga dapat menjadi alternatif bermain bola basket dengan ruangan minimBerdasarkan hasil dan deskripsi diatas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sensor inframerah dapat digunakan untuk menghitung poin/score pada mesin Basketball Arcade, dengan tingkat keberhasilan tertinggi mencapai 82,41% di seluruh mode dan durasi. Serta motor dc dan servo dapat digunakan sebagai aktuator untuk mesin basketball arcade.

Abstract

This research, entitled “Fuel Distribution System Using Injection Method with On-Off Controlled Pump”, was conducted at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Integrated Terminal Makassar. The device was developed as an effort to improve the effectiveness of the fuel distribution process and to reduce the risk of environmental pollution caused by temporary equipment that often leads to fuel spills around the temporary storage tank (sumb tank). The designed system is a permanent fuel distribution system equipped with a piping network, pump and motor control system, and digital pressure measurement. The experiment was carried out using 5,000 KL of fuel as the sample with five pressure variations, namely 10 bar (15%), 8.5 bar (25%), 7 bar (50%), 6.5 bar (80%), and 5 bar (100%), each tested for 5 minutes. The results showed that the highest flow rate occurred at 10 bar pressure with a value of 0.0096 m³/s, although this condition is not recommended because it can cause unstable fluid flow and pump irregularities. When all valves in the injection system are fully open, the pressure becomes stable and the fuel flow remains consistent. The optimal condition was obtained at 5 bar pressure (100%) with a flow rate of 0.1659 m³/s.
