Abstract

Bencana alam seperti erupsi gunung berapi dapat diketahui sebelumnya melalui informasi yang disampaikan oleh Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi. Material vulkanis atau awan panas dapat merusak bangunan dan juga instalasi listriknya. Salah satu indikasi kerusakan instalasi listrik adalah kegagalan sistem isolasinya, sehingga hal tersebut dapat mengakibatkan adanya arus lebih. Arus listrik lebih yang mengalir terlalu lama berakibat munculnya kerusakan jaringan listrik lainnya. Salah satu cara untuk memutus adanya arus lebih pada jaringan instalasi listrik adalah dengan memasang PBO. Pemutus Balik Otomatis (PBO) adalah salah satu alat yang cukup penting dalam sistem proteksi jaringan listrik dengan cara pemutusan berulang. Penelitian ini membahas tentang rangkaian pemutus balik otomatis elektronis yang digunakan untuk memantau arus lebih yang kemudian dibaca oleh sensor arus lalu diubah menjadi tegangan analog. Setelah proses pengubahan, selanjutnya akan diproses oleh mikrokontroler ATMega8535 sebagai pengendali pada sistem alat ini. Software dalam ATMega8535 dirancang sebagai pengendali relai untuk memutus balik secara otomatis dengan waktu tunda dan pengunciannya setelah melampaui batas counter yang sudah ditentukan dan akan diinformasikan dengan media layanan pesan singkat (SMS). Kemudian untuk memfungsikan kembali dapat di-reset melalui tombol reset atau telepon genggam dengan mengirim SMS. Pada penelitian ini, layanan pesan singkat juga dapat digunakan untuk mengontrol hidup / matinya PBO. Pemutus Balik Otomatis ini dapat beroperasi sebagai pengaman jaringan instalasi listrik dan dapat dikontrol dari manapun melalui SMS dengan waktu ± 10 detik.

Abstract

Akses energi masih terbatas pada beberapa wilayah dengan kriteria terpencil, tertinggal, terluar (3T). Selain itu keterbatasan juga masih terjadi pada daerah yang dianggap kurang ekonomis bila dibangun sistem atau jaringan listrik. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya suatu implementasi teknologi panel surya yang mampu meingkatkan perekonomian masyarakat pada daerah yang memiliki keterbatasan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ada tiga. Pertama, merancang sebuah purwarupa kios minuman berkonsep container booth yang kebutuhan energinya dipenuhi menggunakan panel surya. Kedua, menganalisis perbandingan konsumsi energi antara sistem listrik arus searah (DC) dan listrik arus bolak-balik (AC) bila digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan container booth. Ketiga, menganalisis potensi pengurangan emisi karbon melalui penggunaan container booth bertenaga surya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan melakukan analisis kebutuhan energi awal melalui survei pada pengguna container booth yang telah ada. Selanjutnya, dilakukan perancangan sistem dan menguji energi yang dihasilkan oleh panel surya serta energi yang dikonsumsi untuk pengolahan minuman. Dari data pengujian pada masing-masing sistem (DC dan AC) dianalisis total energi yang dihasilkan dan potensi pengurangan emisinya. Sistem AC memiliki efisiensi sebesar 21,11% sedangkan sistem DC memiliki efisiensi sebesar 19,08%. Dari sisi penggunaan baterainya selama 1 hari pemakaian, sistem AC akan mengurangi 12,03% baterai sedangkan sistem DC sebesar 14,34%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kios minuman bertenaga surya ini mampu memenuhi kebutuhan energi operasional selama 2 hari dan mampu mengurangi emisi setara dengan 34,82 sampai 58,84 kg CO2. Konsep ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Generally induction motor is used as a tool to change electric power to mechanic one. In forced condition wound-rotor induction motor can be used as transformer. This case can be accepted for both machines work by induction principle. Stator is the primary side of a three phase-transformer. Magnetic field produced by stator cuts across rotor conduction. This induction voltage cases the rotor current to flow. However, induction motor is one of non-linear load and be able to cause harmonic in alternating current.The objective of this research is to acknowledge the work of wound-rotor induction motor when its function is changed into a transformer.The research was done by the wound rotor supplied sinusoidal voltage as the primary of a three phasetransformer. The magnetic filed produced by rotor cuts across stator conductor. Rotor position was regulated from 0o, 45o, 90o, 135o, up to 360o. In stator winding, the amount of emf induced proportional to the rate of flux change and the number of its wound.The result of research shows that wound-rotor induction motor can be used as variable transformer. Voltage change obtained is about 8%. Voltage waved) form is defect sinusoidal. The average value of Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) is 1.8% for displacement of rotor angle from 0o up to 360o.

Abstract

Kompor induksi bekerja dengan pemanfaatan arus eddy pada objek kerja dalam lingkup kumparan induktif yang dicatu arus bolak-balik dengan frekuensi tinggi. Kinerja kompor induksi sangat dipengaruhi oleh besarnya nilai induktif untuk menghasilkan medan elektromagnetik. Besarnya medan elektromagnetik akan menyerap daya reaktif pada jala-jala suplai tenaga listrik yang pada akhirnya akan menurunkan faktor dayanya. Pada penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh perbaikan faktor daya terhadap kinerja kompor induksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara menambah beberapa kapasitor pada saluran masuk ke kompor induksi. Dari hasil pengukuran maupun perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa untuk kompor merk A kenaikan faktor daya dari 0.8 sampai dengan 0.97 justru memperlama pendidihan 1 liter air, yakni dari 412 detik sampai dengan 440 detik. Di lain pihak yang terjadi pada kompor merk B, kenaikan faktor daya dari 0.89 sampai dengan 0.985 akan mempersingkat waktu, yakni dari 279 detik sampai dengan 254 detik.

Abstract

Distribution transformer 8 at PPSDM Migas Cepu has a capacity of 500 kVA with load connected to boiler and refinery. The loading connected to the distribution transformer 8 is the majority of the 3-phase motor pump load and some 1-phase pump motors. In this case study measurements were made using the ampere pliers as the hypothesis of the current of each phase. From the measurement result there is imbalance of load between channel and also there is current value of neutral conductor side. And to know the content of harmonics on the distribution transformer, then measured with a power quality analyzer.The result of measurement with fluke quality 436 type fluke quality got result of measurement that current value at neutral conductor side equal to 14A. The value of load imbalance between conductor obtained by value of channel current R equal to 346A, in channel S equal to 306A, and in channel T equal to 318A. The THD value of the current obtained from the measurement with the power quality analyzer on the conductor side of R is 3.4%, on the conductor side S of 3.0%, and on the conductor side of T is 3.0%, and in the neutral channel is the greatest value of 29%. In the analysis of this chapter we get the result of imbalance loads of 4.6%, with the average loading of 45% of the total capacity of the transformer

Abstract

Machine learning algorithms can be used to forecast future blood glucose (BG) levels for diabetes patients, according to recent studies. In this study, dataset from continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system was used as the sole input for the machine learning models. To forecast blood glucose levels 15, 30, and 45 minutes in the future, we suggested deep neural network (DNN) and tested it on 7 patients with type 1 diabetes (T1D). The suggested prediction model was evaluated against a variety of machine learning models, such as k-nearest neighbor (KNN), support vector regression (SVR), decision tree (DT), adaptive boosting (AdaBoost), random forest (RF), and eXtreme gradient boosting (XGBoost). The experimental findings demonstrated that the proposed DNN model outperformed all other models, with average root mean square errors (RMSEs) of 17.295, 25.940, and 35.146 mg/dL over prediction horizons (PHs) of 15, 30, and 45 minutes, respectively. Additionally, we have included the suggested prediction model in web-based blood glucose level prediction tools. By using this web-based system, patients may readily acquire their future blood glucose levels, allowing for the generation of preventative alarms prior to crucial hypoglycemia or hyperglycemic situations.

Abstract

Energy access is still limited to several areas with the criteria of being remote, underdeveloped, outermost (3T). In addition, limitations still occur in areas considered less economical if an electrical system or network is built. Therefore, there is a need to implement solar panel technology that can improve the economy of the people in areas with these limitations. The objectives of this study are threefold. First, to design a beverage kiosk with a container booth concept where its energy needs are met using solar panels. Second, to analyze the energy con-sumption ratio between direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) electricity systems when used to meet the needs of the container booth. Third, to analyze the potential for reducing carbon emissions through the use of solar-powered container booths. This research was conducted by analyzing the initial energy requirements through a survey on existing container booth users. The system design is carried out and tests the energy produced by solar panels and the energy consumed for beverage processing. The total energy produced and the potentials for emission reduction were analyzed from each system's test data (DC and AC). The AC system has an efficiency of 21.11%, while the DC system has 19.08%. In terms of battery usage for one day of use, the AC system will reduce 12.03% of the battery while the DC system is 14.34%. The analysis shows that this solar-powered beverage kiosk can meet operational energy needs for two days and reduce emissions equivalent to 34.82 to 58.84 kg of CO2. This concept is expected to be an alternative for society.

Abstract

Dalam dunia industri 4.0 era digital ini sangat mendorong integrasi dunia dengan proses internet sebagai dudukan utama. Chatbot sendiri dapat diartikan sebagai sebuah program ponsel pintar yang didesain untuk memahami maksud dari bahasa manusia, untuk mendapatkan jawaban yang sesuai dengan yang ditanyakan pengguna, chatbot perlu melakukan simulasi dan klasifikasi percakapan maksud atau keinginan (intent) dari pengguna. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat klasifikasi intent pada chatbot dengan menggunakan teknologi Natural Language Processing dan algoritma Support Vector Machine (SVM). Penelitian ini membuat pengembangan chatbot pada platform Telegram dengan algoritma Support Vector Machine (SVM) untuk mengukur tingkat akurasi, sehingga chatbot menjadi lebih akurat. Penelitian ini sudah berhasil mengimplementasikan rancangan tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian yang dibuat ini adalah chatbot yang bernama “MONA” dapat digunakan sebagai Monitoring Assistant pelanggan Netmonk yang sudah terdaftar dalam sistem. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga berhasil melakukan training pada label dan teks intent, sehingga chatbot dapat memberikan jawaban yang interaktif dari pertanyaan pengguna, kemudian pengujian ini menggunakan integrasi FastAPI dalam mengirimkan data. Pada pengujian ini diperoleh hasil akurasi 98,92% dengan support vector machine, 93,54% dengan naïve bayes, dan 95,8% dengan neural network, sehingga penelitian ini menggunakan metode support vector machine dalam pengaplikasiannya.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of NaCl concentration on the pH and Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP) values of both EOW and ERW products. The experiment was conducted using distilled water. The electrolysis apparatus consisted of anode and cathode chambers. The chambers were connected by a tube filled with a cotton (or a fabric). Both electrodes (anode and cathode) were made of titanium and formed as a spiral. Electrolysis was performed for 780 minutes, and the pH and ORP values of both EOW and ERW were measured every time. Sodium chloride concentration was varied for 0, 100, and 200 ppm. Experimental results revealed that the higher the NaCl concentration, the higher ERW’s pH rise and the lower the EOW’s pH. Similar results were found for ORP. ERW’s ORP was lowered while EOW’s ORP rose with the increase in NaCl concentration. This study could also generate a mathematical model that correlates pH and time during the electrolysis process. The model was developed by connecting with a simple polynomial. A similar approach was used to develop the model that correlates pH and ORP value.

Abstract

Indonesia, an expansive archipelagic nation with over 17,000 islands, encounters significant challenges in ensuring a sustainable and dependable electricity supply, particularly in its West Papua region. The reliance on diesel fuel for electricity generation in this area poses substantial environmental risks and incurs high costs. A comprehensive research study addressing the environmental and economic challenges associated with diesel dependence in West Papua proposed a shift towards sustainable and cost-effective solutions by advocating for adopting off-grid hybrid power systems. This study targeted Yensawai Village in the Raja Ampat Islands, employing a detailed techno-economic analysis through HOMER Pro to identify the most cost-effective system configurations. The findings indicated that the optimal setup consists of a 160 kW diesel generator, complemented by a 70.1 kW solar photovoltaic (PV) system, a 30 kW inverter, and an 80 kWh battery storage unit. This configuration not only proved to be economically viable by reducing the levelized cost of electricity (CoE) by 15.7%—achieving a CoE of $0.236/kWh compared to the base scenario's $0.280/kWh—but also highlighted the potential for similar benefits across regional systems. By focusing on the economic advantages of hybrid energy configurations, this research contributes significantly to the broader discourse on sustainability and the urgent need to reduce diesel dependence, offering a practical approach to cutting electricity generation costs in remote island communities and advancing sustainability initiatives.
