Abstract

As a tropical country, Indonesia receives exposure to sunlight throughout the year which contains ultraviolet (UV) rays that are harmful to the skin. The use of sunscreen is important to protect the skin, but the lack of structured information regarding the characteristics of sunscreen makes it difficult to choose the appropriate product. This research aims to build an ontology model for a sunscreen product search system that is tailored to skin conditions using the Methontology method. In the implementation stage, the sunscreen ontology was developed with 1 class, 7 subclasses, 7 object property hierarchies, and 29 individuals using Protégé software. Evaluation is carried out by asking a SPARQL query that shows the ontology's ability to provide relevant answers according to the knowledge being modeled. This sunscreen product ontology model can be used as a basis for developing related knowledge management systems such as sunscreen product search systems.

Abstract

This paper presents the design and development of mobile-based e-commerce applications specifically designed for electronic devices. With the growing popularity of smartphones and growing demand for online shopping, the need for a user-friendly and efficient mobile e-commerce application has become imperative. The proposed application aims to provide a seamless shopping experience for users who wish to purchase electronic devices through their mobile devices. The design process covers multiple aspects, including user interface design, navigation flows, and integration of important ecommerce features such as product listings, filtering, and secure payment methods. The development phase involves implementing the design using the appropriate programming languages and frameworks to ensure compatibility across various mobile platforms. The app's success will be evaluated based on user feedback, performance metrics, and its ability to improve the overall shopping experience for electronics enthusiasts. By combining mobile technology and e-commerce, this research contributes to the advancement of the digital shopping landscape and offers a convenient platform for users to easily browse and buy electronic devices.

Abstract

Noise is a common issue in image processing that can degrade the quality and clarity of images. In this research, we propose a method for identifying the levels of salt and pepper noise in images using the median filter technique. The median filter is a non-linear filtering approach that effectively reduces noise by replacing the pixel values with the median value of neighboring pixels. In our approach, we apply the median filter to the image and observe the changes in the pixel values. By analyzing the differences between the original image and the filtered image, we can determine the extent of salt and pepper noise present in the image. The proposed method offers a reliable and efficient way to quantify the level of salt and pepper noise. Experimental results on various images demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in accurately identifying and quantifying salt and pepper noise levels. The method provides valuable insights into the amount of noise present in images, enabling better understanding and further processing of the image data.

Abstract

Along with population growth and urban development, the demand for clean water is increasing. Water reservoirs are an effective solution to this problem, by storing large amounts of water in specially designed tanks. Water reservoirs are one of the important components in the household water supply system. This study aims to make it easier for users to monitor the condition of the water in the reservoir. The tools used are Arduino uno R3, green LED, yellow LED, red LED, ultrasonic distance sensor, DC motor, piezo, push button, and h-bridge motor driver. This system is designed using the prototype method, so that users can easily see real-time water levels via mobile devices.
