Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat mengenai proses produsi pembuatan sabun cair yang dapat digunakan sebagai peluang wirausaha bagi masyarakat di Kota Pekanbaru. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Tangkerang Barat, Kota Pekanbaru pada tanggal 02 Oktober 2019. Peserta pelatihan adalah ibu rumah tangga dan majelis taklim di Kelurahan Tangkerang Barat dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 15 peserta pelatihan. Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat menggunakan metode ceramah dan demonstrasi tentang pembuatan sabun cair sabun cuci piring. Rancangan evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian adalah tercapainya target jumlah peserta pelatihan, tujuan pelatihan tercapai dengan baik, target materi yang direncanakan tercapai dan para peserta mampu memahami materi pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah para peserta memahami akan peluang wirausaha pembuatan sabun cair cuci piring, kemudian peserta pelatihan dapat membuat sabun cair cuci piring dan peserta pelatihan sudah ada yang berhasil menjual produk sabun cair tersebut.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of economic competitiveness through competitive sectors based on shift-share analysis, leading sectors based on Location Quotient analysis, creative industry mapping, and creative industry product potential in West Sumatra. This research is field research using survey methods. The approach method uses a quantitative and qualitative descriptive approach. The research results show that based on the results of the shift-share analysis there are seven competitive sectors, namely wholesale and retail trade sector, followed by construction, educational services, mining and quarrying, government administration, provision of accommodation and food and drink, services others, while tourism has not been able to compete. Based on the results of the Location Quotient analysis, there are 13 basic and superior business sectors, and the tourism sector which is among the most basic or superior sectors in West Sumatra. The results of mapping the creative industries in West Sumatra showed that Tanah Datar is the area with the most creative workers. Most of the creative industry potential in culinary businesses and is located in Tanah Datar, Pesisir Selatan, Payakumbuh, Padang Panjang, South Solok, Solok, Sinjunjung, Limapuluh Kota, Dharmasraya, Pariaman Districts.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of work motivation and work stress on the performance of civil servants at the DPRD Secretariat Office, Padang Lawas Regency, North Sumatra Province. This type of research is quantitative research using multiple linear regression methods. The total sample in this study was 47 respondents selected using the purposive sampling method. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Research data was analyzed using the SPSS V.26 program. The research results show that partially work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work stress partially has a negative and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, Motivation and Stress have a significant influence on the Performance of Civil Servants at the Padang Lawas Regency DPRD Secretariat Office. The magnitude of the influence of Work Motivation and Work Stress on the Performance of Civil Servants at the Padang Lawas Regency DPRD Secretariat Office is 60%, the remaining 40% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Work Discipline and Job Training on Employee Performance at Peterseli Kitchen Pekanbaru. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method that describes the variables as they are and is supported by data in the form of numbers generated from actual circumstances. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The population in this study amounted to 38 people and the sample used in this study amounted to 38 people. The results showed that work discipline affects employee performance, as well as job training affects employee performance at Peterseli Kitchen Pekanbaru. Work Discipline and Job Training affect Employee Performance at Peterseli Kitchen Pekanbaru. The amount of influence is shown by the coefficient of determination of 51.1%, this shows that as much as 51.1% of employee performance is influenced by work discipline and job training and as much as 48.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT Bank Tabungan Negara Syariah Branch in Pekanbaru. The study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance, with work discipline acting as a mediating variable among employees of PT Bank Tabungan Negara Syariah Branch Pekanbaru. The research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method via the SmartPLS application. The population in this study consisted of 62 individuals, all of whom were included as the sample. The results indicate that leadership style and work motivation do not have a direct effect on employee performance. However, both leadership style and work motivation have a direct influence on work discipline. Moreover, work discipline has been shown to mediate the relationship between leadership style, work motivation, and employee performance. The implications of this study suggest that companies need to pay close attention to developing positive leadership styles and motivational strategies that effectively encourage employees to enhance their performance.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Syafira Hospital Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of workload and work environment on the performance of medical personnel at Syafira Hospital Pekanbaru, both partially and simultaneously. This study used purposive sampling technique with a sample of 73 respondents. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between workload on performance, the work environment had a positive and significant effect on performance. Simultaneously, workload and work environment have a significant effect on performance. From the determination test, it is known that the R Square value shows that workload and work environment together have an influence of 71% on the performance of medical personnel, and the remaining 29% is influenced by other variables not observed in this study.

Abstract

This research was conducted on employees of the Population and Civil Registration Services Of Dumai City, Riau Province. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of organizational culture and professionalism on work incivility among Population and Civil Registry employees in Dumai City District. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The type used in this research is the quantitative type regarding the influence between variables. Research data was analyzed using SPSS version 23. The sample in this study were 32 employees of the Dumai City Population and Civil Registry Service using the purposive sampling method. The data analysis used in this research is quantitative using the multiple linear regression method. Based on the research results, it shows that Organizational Culture and Job Demands influence Workplace Incivility both partially and simultaneously. The results of the Coefficient of Determination (R2) show that the influence of the two independent variables together on the dependent variable is 53,9%. Meanwhile, the remaining 46,1%  was influenced by other variables not observed in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of education and training provided online by the Human Resources Development Agency to ASN. The types and sources of data for this study consist of primary and secondary data, namely research data obtained directly from research informants and reference data related to the research study. Data collection techniques used to collect secondary data are by using interviews and reference books and reports related to the research. The research informants numbered 10 (ten) informants who know and manage education and training at the Riau Province Human Resources Development Agency, namely 9 (nine) informants for Education and Training Managers, Widyaiswara, Members of the Riau Province Human Resources Development Agency's Quality Assurance Committee and 1 (one) informant for training alumni. The data analysis technique used qualitative data analysis. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of education and training at the Riau Province Human Resources Development Agency has been carried out sustainably, including through online learning schemes. Guaranteeing the effectiveness of the implementation of education and training at the Riau Province Human Resources Development Agency requires strengthening through an integrated and sustainable evaluation system. This strengthening is expected to ensure that training is not only oriented towards program implementation, but also provides a real contribution to improving ASN competency and the quality of organizational performance.

Abstract

In Indonesia, banking is a crucial part of the financial infrastructure, the role of banking partners is in collecting funds from the public and providing loans and other financial services. With the rapid growth in the sharia banking industry, the need for Human Resources (HR) who have special expertise in the sharia banking sector seems to be increasing. This research aims to determine the effect of work stress and employee transfers on performance. The research was carried out on employees at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Ujung Batu. The type of research used in this research is quantitative. The sample consisted of 35 people using the nonprobability sampling technique, total sampling method. The data analysis method in this research uses multiple linear analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 application. The results of the research show that the Job Stress variable (X1) has a positive and significant influence on performance (Y), and Employee Transfer (X2) has a positive influence and significant to Performance (Y).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of brand ambassador, brand image and brand trust on purchasing decisions for Samsung brand cellphones in Pekanbaru City. This type of research is quantitative research using multiple linear regression methods. The total sample in this study was 96 respondents who were selected using the purposive sampling method. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Research data was analyzed using the SPSS V.25 program. The results of this research partially show that brand ambassador, brand image and brand trust have a positive and significant influence on the decision to purchase Samsung brand cellphones in Pekanbaru City. Simultaneous test results show that brand ambassador, brand image and brand trust have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for Samsung brand cellphones in Pekanbaru City. The R Square value is 0.535 or 53.5%, indicating that the brand ambassador, brand image and brand trust variables as a whole only have an influence of 53.5% on the purchasing decision variable. Meanwhile, the remaining 46.5% was influenced by other variables not examined in this research.
