Abstract

The utilization of information technology has transformed the delivery of public services, including competency certification information services provided by Professional Certification Institutions (LSP). WhatsApp, as one of the most popular instant messaging applications in Indonesia, is commonly used as a primary communication platform. However, the manual information delivery process at LSP Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro has led to several issues, such as delayed responses, overlooked messages, and inconsistent information. This study developed an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based chatbot integrated with Natural Language Processing (NLP) on the WhatsApp platform, named WA-DILA (WhatsApp-based Intelligent Assistant). The system was developed using the Waterfall model, encompassing stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Node.js and MySQL were utilized in the development, and system functionality was evaluated using black box testing. WA-DILA was successfully implemented and capable of automatically responding to various user inquiries. All features functioned as expected based on testing results. Out of 217 users, 206 provided feedback, with 88% giving positive ratings (scores 4 and 5), indicating a high level of satisfaction with the chatbot service. WA-DILA effectively enhanced the efficiency and quality of information services at the LSP through fast, automated, and consistent responses. This solution demonstrates strong potential for broader implementation in other digital information service contexts, supporting the transformation of public services through the adoption of intelligent technology-based systems.

Abstract

Advances in information technology and the internet have had a significant impact on the lives of children, including orphans and the underprivileged. The internet is not only used for entertainment but also as a source of information that supports the learning process. However, internet use without adequate understanding and guidance can pose various risks, such as exposure to age-inappropriate content, discussing social media, and threats to the security and privacy of personal data. This activity was carried out with the aim of providing education on how to use the internet healthily to orphans and underprivileged children at the Amanatul Huda Islamic Boarding School. The implementation method was carried out through the stages of situation analysis, material preparation, training, and evaluation, using an interactive lecture approach, discussion, and direct practice of computer and internet use. The results of this activity were that participants had a better knowledge and understanding of how to use the internet safely and responsibly. Participants became more aware of the benefits of the internet for learning, recognized potential digital risks, and the importance of maintaining ethics and privacy while using the internet. This activity is expected to encourage positive internet use and be the first step in building a healthy digital literacy culture in the Islamic boarding school environment.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi memberikan peluang dalam pemanfaatan media digital sebagai sarana pembelajaran, termasuk dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an. Namun, pemanfaatan teknologi tersebut belum sepenuhnya optimal, khususnya pada anak-anak di lingkungan panti asuhan yang masih membutuhkan pendampingan dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi Ahlul Quran berbasis Android sebagai media pembelajaran tahsin bagi anak asuh Panti Asuhan Budi Utomo Kota Metro. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi tahap sosialisasi, pelatihan, serta pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi. Untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman peserta terhadap penggunaan aplikasi tersebut, dilakukan evaluasi menggunakan kuesioner pretest dan posttest. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai pemanfaatan aplikasi Ahlul Quran sebagai media pembelajaran tahsin. Peserta juga menunjukkan minat dan antusiasme yang tinggi dalam menggunakan aplikasi tersebut sebagai sarana belajar Al-Qur’an secara mandiri. Dengan demikian, penggunaan aplikasi Ahlul Quran berbasis Android dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran tahsin serta meningkatkan motivasi belajar Al-Qur’an pada anak-anak di lingkungan panti asuhan.Kata kunci: pembelajaran tahsin, aplikasi android, media pembelajaran, teknologi pendidikan, pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Website instansi pendidikan merupakan suatu media informasi dan komunikasi digital yang berperan penting dalam penyampaian informasi kepada masyarakat. Namun, pemanfaatan website sekolah di Sekolah Cahaya Bangsa Lampung belum berjalan optimal karena keterbatasan pemahaman guru dan staf dalam mengelola konten website secara mandiri. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (Abdimas) bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kompetensi digital guru dan staf dengan mengadakan pelatihan pengelolaan website sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi penyampaian materi, praktik langsung, diskusi, dan pendampingan penggunaan fitur website. Materi pelatihan mencakup proses login admin, pengelolaan artikel kegiatan sekolah, pengelolaan galeri, pengaturan kategori, penambahan halaman website, serta pengaturan template website. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pre-test & post-test yang bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman guru dan staf sebelum mengikuti pelatihan dan sesudah mengikuti pelatihan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan guru dan staf dalam mengelola website, ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata nilai pre-test sebesar 46% meningkat menjadi 100% pada post-test. Selain itu, peserta mampu mengelola dan memperbarui informasi website sekolah secara mandiri. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat mendukung optimalisasi website yang ada di sekolah sebagai media informasi dan juga sebagai media promosi institusi pendidikan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Abstrak : Salah satu instansi pemerintahan kantor kecamatan Punggur yang berada di Jalan Sidomulyo Punggur, Tanggul Angin, Kecamatan Punggur, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah memiliki kendala internet Dikarenakan belum adanya captive portal dan manajemen bandwidth. Tujuan pelaksanaan penelitian ini yaitu dapat merancang captive portal dan manajemen bandwidth menggunakan router MikroTik pada Kantor Kecamatan Punggur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah NDLC (Network Development Life Cycle), topologi jaringan aplikasi Cisco Paket Tracer dan konfigurasi Captive Portal menggunakkan router MikroTik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah captive portal dan management bandwidth sehingga setiap user memiliki username dan password sendiri, terdapat manajement kecepatan bandwidth setiap user sehingga username memiliki kecepatannya masing-masing. Adapun kekurangan dari perancangan ini adalah tidak adanya sistem firewall yang tidak dapat membantu terjadi pencegahan pencurian data maupun peretasan dilakukan dari dalam. Oleh karena itu, peneliti berharap kepada pengembang dan peneliti selanjutnya untuk memperbaiki kekurangan tersebut. Abstract: One of the government agencies, Punggur sub-district office located on Jalan Sidomulyo Punggur, Tanggul Angin, Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency, has internet problems due to the lack of a captive portal and bandwidth management. The aim of carrying out this research is to be able to design a captive portal and bandwidth management using a MikroTik router at the Punggur District Office. The methods used in this research are NDLC (Network Development Life Cycle), Cisco Packet Tracer application network topology and Captive Portal configuration using a MikroTik router. The results of this research are a captive portal and bandwidth management so that each user has their own username and password, there is bandwidth speed management for each user so that the username has its own speed. The drawback of this design is that there is no firewall system which cannot help prevent data theft or hacking from within. Therefore, the researcher hopes that future developers and researchers will improve this weakness.

Abstract

Abstrak : CV. ASACOM merupakan usaha yang bergerak dibidang penjualan komputer, laptop, dan aksesoris yang ada di Kotabumi Lampung Utara. Sistem penjualan yang digunakan di CV. ASACOM ini masih menggunakan media WhatsApp. Pencatatan data transaksi penjualan CV. ASACOM ini juga masih secara manual. Usulan rancangan penelitian untuk mengatasi masalah pada CV. ASACOM yaitu untuk mengembangkan bisnisnya, khususnya bisnis di bidang web menggunakkan Framework Codeigniter. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah pengembangan perangakat lunak dengan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) serta teknik pengujian yang digunakan adalah teknik Black Box Testing. Hasil penelitian ini adalah membuat perancangan aplikasi penjualan yang diusulkan mampu untuk menginputkan data, mengedit, menghapus, dan juga dapat digunakan untuk membeli barang secara online oleh pelangan atau pembeli. Transaksi pembayarannya menggunakan sistem transfer tanpa harus dating ke lokasi Kelemahan atau kekurangan dari website ini adalah penambahan fitur notifikasi jika saat pelanggan melakukan pembelian atau pembayaran yang sudah terverifikasi dan dibagian admin juga belum memiliki notifikasi saat ada pesanan yang masuk. Oleh karena itu, peneliti berharap kepada penulis selanjutnya untuk dapat memperbaiki kekurangan tersebut. Abstract: CV. ASACOM is a business engaged in the sale of computers, laptops, and accessories located in Kotabumi, North Lampung. The sales system used by CV. ASACOM still relies on WhatsApp as a communication medium. Additionally, the record-keeping for sales transactions at CV. ASACOM is still done manually. The proposed research design to address the issues at CV. ASACOM is to expand its business, particularly in the field of web development using the Codeigniter Framework. The research method employed in this study is software development using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and the testing technique utilized is Black Box Testing.The results of this research include the design of a proposed sales application that allows for data input, editing, deletion, and online purchasing by customers. The payment transactions are conducted through a transfer system without the need for customers to visit the physical location. One of the weaknesses or shortcomings of this website is the absence of a notification feature when customers make purchases or verified payments, and there is also no notification for the admin when new orders are received. Therefore, the researcher hopes that future developers can address these shortcomings.

Abstract

Abstrak : Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah mendorong berbagai perusahaan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasionalnya, salah satunya melalui sistem informasi pengelolaan inventory. CV. Mulya Baryndo, perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penyediaan material untuk kebutuhan usaha dan toko, masih menggunakan metode pencatatan persediaan secara semi-manual yang rawan kesalahan dan tidak efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi pengelolaan inventory berbasis website dengan penerapan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) guna mengoptimalkan pengelolaan stok barang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi di CV. Mulya Baryndo. Sistem dirancang menggunakan framework Laravel dan basis data MySQL, serta menerapkan metode EOQ untuk menentukan jumlah pemesanan optimal berdasarkan permintaan tahunan, biaya pemesanan, dan biaya penyimpanan. Pengembangan sistem mengikuti metode Agile untuk memastikan sistem fleksibel terhadap perubahan kebutuhan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web yang mampu mencatat barang masuk dan keluar, menghitung kebutuhan stok optimal, serta menampilkan data inventori secara real-time. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi pencatatan, dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan terkait persediaan di CV. Mulya Baryndo. Abstract: The rapid development of information technology has driven many companies to improve their operational efficiency, one of which is through the implementation of inventory management information systems. CV. Mulya Baryndo, a company engaged in the supply of store and retail equipment, still uses a semi-manual inventory recording method that is prone to errors and inefficiencies. This study aims to design and develop a web-based inventory management information system by applying the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method to optimize stock management. The research employed a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation at CV. Mulya Baryndo. The system was developed using the Laravel framework and MySQL database, and applies the EOQ method to determine the optimal order quantity based on annual demand, ordering costs, and storage costs. System development follows the Agile method to ensure flexibility in adapting to changing requirements. The result of this research is a web-based information system capable of recording incoming and outgoing goods, calculating optimal stock needs, and displaying real-time inventory data. This system is expected to improve efficiency, recording accuracy, and support decision-making in inventory management at CV. Mulya Baryndo. Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a Mikrotik-based hotspot system with user management support, which is applied in educational environments such as schools or Islamic boarding schools. This system is built to facilitate structured internet access sharing, distinguishing between teacher, staff, and student users, and managing bandwidth to comply with established policies. The method used in this study is an experimental approach with stages of Mikrotik device configuration via Winbox, NAT, DHCP, DNS, firewall settings, and hotspot configuration. The implementation results show that the system can function well, marked by the successful user login process via user and password, bandwidth settings according to profiles (10 Mbps for teachers, 6 Mbps for staff, and 10 Mbps for students), as well as successful internet speed testing and stable network connections. In addition, the system is able to log in and monitor network usage in real-time. The conclusion of this study shows that the Mikrotik hotspot system is effective for use as a user-role-based network management solution in school environments. This research also opens opportunities for the development of OTP-based login features, as well as mobile dashboards to improve network management efficiency.

Abstract

The problem that occurs in the public service system at Mesuji Timur District is that the process of submitting letters is still carried out manually, resulting in service delays, inefficiency, and a high risk of errors in recording and validating documents. People have to come directly to the district office with physical requirements, which consumes time, effort, and costs. To overcome these issues, this research applies the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method, which consists of the inception, elaboration, construction, and transition phases. The objective of this study is to design and develop a web-based public service information system that facilitates the process of submitting, validating, and printing letters digitally. The results show that the developed system can accelerate the service process, minimize administrative errors, and enable citizens to apply for letters online anytime and anywhere. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of the RUP method successfully produces an effective and efficient web-based public service information system that supports the improvement of service quality at Mesuji Timur District.
