Abstract

This research aims to develop a product, namely a Teaching Module for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile on the Theme of I Love Indonesia, Topic of Traditional Dances for Early Childhood. The researcher chose a teaching module because it simplifies educators in conducting learning processes. The topic of discussion used in this teaching module is traditional dances, specifically the dolanan dance. The researcher chose the dolanan dance as the topic of discussion here because the students at KB Mekar Sari have enthusiasm in listening to folklore and that blends with art. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model, which consists of analysis (analyze), design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. This research was conducted at KB Mekar Sari in the 2024/2025 academic year, semester 2. Data collection techniques used teacher response questionnaires, validation sheets, media expert, content expert, and linguist. The validity results of the teaching module project for strengthening the Pancasila student profile on the theme of I love Indonesia, topic of traditional dances for early childhood, which was carried out by three validators, obtained an average score of 88%, categorized as very valid. The teacher practicality results obtained a score of 95.45% with the category of very practical, and the average effectiveness score obtained a score of 95.45% with the category of very effective. It can be concluded that the teaching module project for strengthening the Pancasila student profile on the theme of I love Indonesia, topic of traditional dances for early childhood, developed by the researcher is suitable for use because it has met the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student focus on learning, students tend to be silent listening to teacher explanations, and rarely use learning media. Monotonous learning makes students bored and unenthusiastic so that students' interest in learning mathematics is still low. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a learning media that can increase students' interest in learning, one of which is by using Puzzle learning media. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of puzzle learning media. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). The subjects in this study were third-grade students of SDN 13 Koto Baru. The results of the puzzle learning media assessment on the validation test by three validators produced an average value of 87% categorized as valid. The practicality test by teachers and students produced an average value of 95.12% categorized as practical in terms of use. The effectiveness test is based on the results of the student learning questionnaire with an average of 87.8% was categorized as effective.

Abstract

This research is necessitated by the observation that not all Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions possess a uniform understanding and consistent application of character education principles. Discrepancies in educators' comprehension, insufficient resources, and the less-than-optimal engagement of parents in supporting children's character development within the home environment are identified as significant factors impacting the efficacy of character education within PAUD settings. Consequently, it is deemed imperative to conduct an in-depth analysis of character education at PAUD Hudaibiyah Gunung Medan. This study aims to meticulously examine the implementation of character education within this specific institution. This qualitative research uses a case study approach with observation and interview techniques to collect data from school principals, teachers, and parents. The results show that PAUD Hudaibiyah Gunung Medan has integrated character education through the Merdeka curriculum and daily habits, focusing on six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile: Faith, Piety, and Noble Character; Global Diversity; Mutual Cooperation; Independence; Creativity; and Critical Thinking. Observation results indicate that character education activities are embedded in daily school activities. Interviews confirm that teachers involve parents in character education programs and apply character values through small interactions.
