Abstract

This article describes the concept of educational interaction in education in a sociological perspective. Sociology has a point of view, certain methods and arrangements. It can be clearly stated that the object of sociology is the study of people in groups, by looking at the nature of society, culture and individuals scientifically. The sociology of education in particular can be interpreted as sociology applied to solve fundamental educational problems that focus on the investigation of the interdependent areas between sociology and the science of education. Educational interaction can be interpreted as a relation activity of various educational elements, educators, administrative staff, and students. The point of interaction in general is a reciprocal relationship among individuals that occur in the community. Educational interaction can only be created if an educator meets the competence and professionalism in the learning process and understands the background of students. An educator plays an important role in creating educational interaction in school. Educational interaction is seen in the implementation of the learning process or the learning stages of an educator. Educational interactions between educators and students are expected to be achieved optimally if there is an awareness of educators that the noble task in teaching and educating students are comprehensive. An educator will be happy and have satisfaction if his or her students succeed.

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to position local religions in Indonesian regulations, and then analyze the urgency of human rights-based regulation of local religions. The method in this article is the legal ethnography method. This research shows that there are local religious practices that experience discrimination from the state. State officials directed the Samin community to choose one of the state-recognized religions. This is contrary to human rights. This article argues that the state should regulate and recognize local religions based on human rights. The article finds that politically, the Samin community does not endanger the state, but instead shows nationalistic behavior and obeys the law. The noble agreement between the state and the Samin community is Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Keywords: urgency, rules, local religion , human rights Abstrak Artikel ini bertujuan memposisikan agama lokal dalam regulasi di Indonesia, selanjutnya menganalisis urgensi aturan agama lokal berbasis hak asasi manusia. Abstract

This study aims to explore the various forms of Qur’anic reception at the Tahfidzul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School in Juranguluh, Kediri, using a qualitative approach informed by Hans Robert Jauss’s reception theory and Ahmad Rafiq’s typology of Qur’anic reception. Three main forms of reception are analyzed: (1) exegetical reception, manifested through thematic tafsir studies and the understanding of Qur’anic interpretive principles; (2) functional reception, reflected in spiritual routines such as Qur’an completion (khataman), riyāḍah arba‘īn, and the recitation of specific surahs as part of the pesantren’s spiritual and communal life; and (3) aesthetic reception, evident in the training of Qur’anic recitation (tilawah) and calligraphy as expressions of reverence for the sacred text’s beauty. The findings reveal that these forms of reception are integrated into the pesantren’s core curriculum, representing a vision of producing students who embody the Qur’an in recitation, meaning, and practice. Qur’anic reception in this context is not merely theoretical but deeply practical, forming a lived experience and value system within the pesantren. This study contributes significantly to the development of Qur’anic studies grounded in local contexts and affirms the pesantren as a vital living Qur’an space in Indonesian Muslim society.

Abstract

Abstract

The construction of the Persianate Islamic Sphere as an analytical framework to understand the role of the Persian people in contemporary Islamic contemplation through a regional typology approach. The study is positioned within the disciplinary discourses of Islamic area studies, intellectual history, and political anthropology. The purpose of this article is to identify the characteristics of the Persian region covering Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan and to trace how Persian cultural heritage has shaped patterns of Islamization, scholarly traditions, and socio-religious practices in the modern era. This research employs a qualitative method with data collected through literature review, historical document analysis, and examination of recent academic publications; the data sample includes classical Persian texts, works of contemporary scholars, and scholarly reports on religious dynamics in the region. The working hypothesis posits that the Persian region exhibits a distinctive developmental pattern of Islam different from both the Arab world and South Asia. The findings indicate that the Persian regional typology is marked by cultural continuity, strong intellectual traditions, and dynamic interactions among state, religion, and ethnicity. This article contributes to strengthening regional perspectives within contemporary Islamic studies. The results highlight the importance of understanding Persia as a significant center of Islamic contemplation in the modern religious landscape.
