Abstract

Bivalves are a class within molluscs that includes all shells that have a pair of shells. This study aims to describe the diversity of bivalves in the waters of Donggulu village, Kasimbar district, Parigi Moutong district and the types of bivalves obtained can be used as a learning resource in the form of a pocket book. This research was conducted in Ocean Waters in Donggulu Village, Kasimbar District, Parigi Moutong Regency in February 2020. This type of research is descriptive, sampling using cruising techniques by dividing stations into three stations. The results of the research and identification found 15 types of bivalves, namely Anodonta anatina, Spondylus gaederopus, Macoma balthica, Macoma elimata, Anadara granusa, Anadara gubernaculum, Anadara sativa, Anadara sp, Vasticardium flavum, Donax faba, Hippopus hippopus, Tridacna maxsima, Paphia gallus, Gafrarium sp, and Gafrarium pectinatum. The diversity index obtained is H '= 1.088 which indicates that the bivalve species are at a moderate level. The validation of research results as a learning resource in the form of a pocket book yielded a percentage89.675% which indicates that it is feasible to be used as a learning resource

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of the Problem Solving Learning Model based on audiovisual media on the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Palu. This type of research was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study was conducted using two groups, namely Class XI IPA 4, which consisted of 31 students as the experimental class, and class XI IPA 3, which consisted of 35 students as the control class. Pretest data in the experimental class obtained an average value of 35.3 and in the control class 34.4. The results of this study obtained the average value of the experimental class learning outcomes that is 73.27 and 67.65 control class. Testing the research hypothesis using the SPSS T-test application. The results showed a significant level value of 0.000 <0.05 or tcount ttable = 6.805 1.997 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Problem Solving Learning Model based on audiovisual media on the Learning Outcomes of Class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Palu

Abstract

Knowledge of behavior is very important to maintain the habitat of the maleo as an endemic animal to Sulawesi that must be preserved. Research takes place in March-December 2021. The research location is in the Saluki Lore Lindu National Park, Central Sulawesi Province. The study took place in March-December 2021. The findings targeted in the study are: (1) Information on egg-laying behavior, (2). When laying eggs, (3) After laying eggs, (4) Determining the length of time for laying eggs, (5) Physical characteristics of the nest and vegetation. The research method used the survey method. Observations of maleo bird activity were carried out every day for 3 months in the egg-laying season from May to July. The results showed that the physical condition of the average nest depth was 67.78 cm, the average nest width was 52.78 cm, the average nest temperature was 33.44°C, the nest humidity was 76.11% and, the soil acidity (pH) with an average of 6.35. The vegetation found at the nesting site consisted of 18 species. The maleo maleo bird's egg-laying behavior activities are playing, snooping (observation), and making a trick hole. There were four activities of female maleo bird laying behavior, namely playing, digging holes for laying eggs, lurking, making trick holes and laying eggs. The duration of time needed by male maleo birds when playing, snooping, making holes, until the female finishes laying eggs, which takes 92 minutes. While the female takes 84 minutes.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Apakah model pembelajaran PBI dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA Kelas IV di SDN Mekar” Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN Mekar melalui penerapan PBI Problem Based Intruction.Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang berisi alur penelitian yang bersiklus meliputi empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini berlangsung dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, tes hasil belajar, observasi, dan wawancara.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa dan guru mengalami peningkatan yang cukup berarti dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil tes formatif tindakan siklus I diperoleh persentase daya serap klasikal 68,2% dan ketuntasan klasikal 64,3%. Pada siklus II diperoleh daya serap klasikal 79,6% dan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 92,8 %. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar IPA mengalami peningkatan. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran PBI dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelsa IV SDN Mekar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA tentang materi pesawat sederhana di kelas V SDN No. 1 Loli Saluran melalui  penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dapat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan  kelas yang dilaksanakan secara bersiklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada tindakan siklus I, jumlah siswa yang mendapatkan nilai ≥ 70 adalah 13 orang dengan presentasi 46,43 %, sedangkan siswa yang mendapatkan nilai ≤ 70 adalah 15 orang dengan presentasi 53,57 %, maka disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran masih belum berhasil sesuai yang telah ditetapkan yakni 75 % dari jumlah siswa mendapatkan nilai ≥ 70. Dengan demikian indikator pembelajaran belum tercapai sesuai dengan harapan peneliti. Pada tindakan siklus II, jumlah siswa yang mendapatkan nilai ≥ 70 adalah 18 orang dengan presentasi 64,29 %, sedangkan siswa yang mendapatkan nilai ≤ 70 adalah 10 orang dengan presentasi 35,71 %, maka disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran masih belum berhasil sesuai yang telah dditetapkan yakni 75 % dari jumlah siswa mendapatkan nilai ≥ 70. Pada tindakan siklus III dalam proses dan akhir pembelajaran diperoleh data sebagai berikut: (1) siswa memiliki keberanian mengemukakan ide/ pendapat pada saat diskusi kelompok, (2) siswa sangat antusias dalam menyelesaikan soal yang ada pada lembar pengamatan dan lembar tugas, dan (3) pengelolaan kelas berjalan secara optimal dan pengelolaan waktu sudah efisien, sehingga kemampuan siswa dalam menyerap dan memberikan pandangan/pendapat  sampai pada tahap yang diinginkan. Kondisi pembelajaran pada tindakan siklus II berpengaruh pada hasil tes tes formatif  siswa. Jumlah siswa yang mendapatkan nilai ≥ 70 adalah 28 orang dengan presentasi 100 %, maka disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berhasil sesuai yang telah dditetapkan yakni 75 % dari jumlah siswa mendapatkan nilai ≥ 70. Dengan demikian indikator pembelajaran telah tercapai sesuai dengan harapan peneliti dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan cooperative learning tipe JIGSAW dalam pembelajaran IPA tentang pesawat sederhana dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN No. 1 Loli Saluran. Kata Kunci :  Cooperatif Learning tipe Jigsaw, IPA, Peta Konsep

Abstract

One of the marine biota found in Ampibabo Village Beach is Gastropods. The objectives of this research are; (1) determine the Diversity of Gastropod Species in Ampibabo Timur Village, Ampibabo Subdistrict, Parigi Moutong Regency, (2) use research results as a learning resource in the form of a pocket book. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative research. The object of this research is the types of gastropods. The sample data collection method used a survey method with the help of line transects, data analysis was carried out by calculating the diversity index using the Shannon-Winner formula. The results showed that: (1) there were 15 types of gastropods with a total of 258 individuals. The most common species found was Nassarius pullus, which was 47 individuals from all research stations. While Conus marmoreus is the least found gastropod species, as many as 3 individuals/species, the Gastropod Species Diversity Index in Ampibabo Timur Village, Ampibabo District, Parigi Mouotng Regency in general is 1.07 or H' is moderate, (2) the results of the assessment of pocket book products which was obtained from lecturers of content experts, namely 77.1%, design experts 74.6%, and media experts, namely 84%, then from student trials of 20 respondents, the average value was 80.5%. With these criteria, this pocket book on the diversity of gastropod species is feasible to use.

Abstract

Water is a source of life for humans. The need for water often makes humans unaware that their activities can trigger the entry of pollutants into water bodies. These pollutants can degrade river water quality. Water quality refers to the condition of water based on its physical, chemical, and biological characteristics. Water quality can be analyzed based on the presence of aquatic organisms intolerant to pollutants. The objective of this study is to describe the water quality of Paneki River based on the presence of Macrozoobenthos organisms as water bioindicators. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using a line transect sampling technique at three purposively selected stations. The results showed that Macrozoobenthos found belonged to 11 families: Gecarcinucidae, Coenagrionidae, Baetidae, Physidae, Hydropsychidae, Heptageniidae, Gomphidae, Lumbricidae, Palaemonidae, Philopotamidae, and Naucoridae. The calculation of water quality analysis based on the Family Biotic Index at station I was 4.07, and station II was 4.09, indicating both stations are classified as excellent water quality with slight pollution from organic matter. Station III scored 4.42, classified as good water quality with some pollution from organic matter.
