Abstract

The REDD+ scheme is a climate change mitigation as an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. REDD+ activities are environmental conservation and efforts to improve sustainable economies, as well as reforestation initiatives in deforested and degraded forest areas. Despite its many benefits, REDD+ schemes require a clear and more comprehensive framework to accommodate all aspects that can encourage more carbon storage transactions and wider integrated policy implementation. This study aims to examine the interests of Indonesia in terminating the Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+) Cooperation with Norway in 2021. The author uses a neorealism perspective and the theory of relative gains in examining this issue. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive data processing. Data collection as a reference in this study was carried out using the library method, namely utilizing secondary data obtained from various literatures such as books, journals, annual reports of several related agencies, official documents, and so on. The results of this study found that during the implementation of REDD+ in Indonesia, there were several challenges and obstacles that affected the effectiveness of the REDD+ work program. Norway's actions that did not realize the Result Based Payment (RBP) for Indonesia's success in reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 11.2 million tons of CO2eq and obstacles to REDD+ implementation were factors that caused Indonesia to terminate the REDD+ cooperation relationship because it was deemed not in accordance with Indonesia's national interests. Abstract

Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV2 virus which can irritate the respiratory tract. Since Covid-19 has been declared a global pandemic. Various policies have been formulated to deal with this pandemic, one of which is the vaccination program. This study aims to find out and analyze the efforts made by Indonesia in importing the Covovax vaccine produced by India during the Covid-19 period. This research will also discuss what efforts have been made by Indonesia to be able to obtain the vaccine so that it can be used and distributed evenly among all Indonesian people. This study uses qualitative research methods, with data collection techniques through literature studies sourced from several books, journals, articles, and also websites. This research also uses the perspective of neoliberalism, the level of analysis of the nation state, and also uses the theory of diplomacy to further strengthen this research. The research results prove that the success of Indonesia's efforts to import the covovax vaccine from India started with a meeting of the Indian delegation discussing the potential for cooperation between the two countries, then the Indonesian government made a joint agreement, and finally resolved the joint problem. The results of Indonesia's efforts to import the covavax vaccine from India in 2019-2022 were declared successful, this can be seen from the implementation, namely: 1) Indonesia and India entered into a vaccine agreement, 2) Prepared a vaccine budget. 3) Conducting vaccine negotiations/diplomacy, 4) Importing vaccines, and 5) Indonesia conducting licensing or the legality of the covovax vaccine. Abstract

Port Waste Management System (PWMS) is a comprehensive waste management approach employed at ports to mitigate environmental harm. PWMS encompasses the collection, segregation, and disposal of various types of waste generated at ports, including solid, liquid, and hazardous waste. Through the adoption of sustainable technologies such as renewable energy and efficient water management, ports can significantly reduce their carbon footprint and ecological impact. Ecoport and Port Waste Management System advocate for sustainable practices within port operations. This study aims to assess the influence of the Ecoport Socialization Program on Greenport implementation at Tanjung Priok Port, aiming to enhance awareness regarding the importance of minimizing environmental impact and improving resource efficiency within the port sector. The findings indicate a positive and statistically significant relationship between the Port Waste Management System (X2) and Greenport Implementation (Y), with a coefficient value (Original Sample column) of 0.579 and P-Values of 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, the Q-Square (Q2) value for Greenport Implementation (Y) is 0.465, indicating that Ecoport Socialization (X1) and Port Waste Management System (X2) possess predictive relevance for Greenport Implementation (Y). Combined, Ecoport Socialization (X1) and Port Waste Management System (X2) account for 59.6% of the variance in Greenport Implementation (Y), with the remaining 40.4% attributable to other factors. In conclusion, this study demonstrates that Ecoport socialization and Port Waste Management System significantly contribute to explaining Greenport Implementation.
