Abstract

Kemandirian dan motivasi belajar siswa dapat berdampak pada pendidikan karakter. Siswa yang belajar secara mandiri berkembang menjadi individu yang dapat mengatasi tantangan di kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana kemandirian dan motivasi belajar siswa dapat mempengaruhi pendidikan karakter di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Ikhlas Uwemagari Kabupaten Buton Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif yaitu ex-post facto. Penelitian ini bertempat di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Ikhlas Uwemagari Kabupaten Buton Selatan. sampel penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas V sebanyak 16 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial digunakan untuk menguji hasil melalui analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat kemandirian siswa berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap pendidikan karakter, selanjutnya bahwa motivasi belajar berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap pendidikan karakter, serta kemandirian siswa dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama berpengaruh parsial terhadap pendidikan karakter

Abstract

Reading the Al-Qur'an is one of the religious practices which is a good practice with the hope of being able to read the Al-Qur'an accurately, with tartil, and with good pronunciation. To form an Islamic character by being able to create the character of the Qur'an, it is also important to get used to reading the Qur'an. The method in this service is a persuasive method for recitation participants, then the children are given material about planting Islamic characters, so that children can learn to read the Koran. Providing guidance to children in the process of this activity is carried out by providing Islamic character material to children, as well as teaching reading the Qur'an, so that children in Lakambau Village can maximize their academic work activities at the University of Muhammadiyah Buton. The results of the participants' posttest showed that participants reached the high category of 10 people or 66.67%, the medium category was 4 people or 26.66%, while the low category was 1 person or 6.67%. The conclusion in this service is that children are very enthusiastic about participating in the Al-Qur'an learning activity program, so that students can instill Islamic character in children in Lakambau Village, South Buton Regency.

Abstract

Untuk memungkinkan mahasiswa menjalankan misi dakwah Muhammadiyah yang dikenal melalui teologi Al Ma'un sebagai organisasi sosial, diperlukan kegiatan yang aksi nyata kepada masyarakat, sehingga mendorong tumbuhnya nilai-nilai kesalehan sosial. Dalam Upaya kegitan sosialisasi digunakan dalam rangka pengabdian, melalui sosialisasi, pembimbingan program dan kegiatan, serta pelaksanaan konsep Al Ma'un dalam bentuk tindakan nyata. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat dirangkum sebagai berikut: Implementasi Pemahaman Surah Al Ma'un melalui Tindakan Nyata. Pemahaman atas surah Al Ma'un berhasil diaplikasikan dalam bentuk tindakan nyata, menjadi bentuk dakwah yang dapat dilihat dan dirasakan secara konkret. Terinstitusionalisasinya Aksi Sosial Mahasiswa dan Masyarakat yang tercermin dalam bentuk Gerakan sosial, berhasil diintegrasikan secara berkelanjutan dalam lingkungan Masyarakat. Pemanfaatan Media Dakwah Institusi dan Persyarikatan. Media dakwah dari institusi dan Persyarikatan, termasuk Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton digunakan secara luas untuk menyebarkan nilai-nilai teologi Al-Maun. Peningkatan Kesadaran Filantropi Berkelanjutan: Melalui program ini, mahasiswa dan masyarakat juga terdorong untuk meningkatkan kesadaran akan filantropi dan membawa nilai-nilai ini dalam tindakan mereka untuk keberlanjutan. Dengan demikian, program pengabdian ini berhasil merangsang tumbuhnya nilai-nilai kesalehan sosial dan pengaplikasian ajaran Al Ma'un dalam aksi nyata. Hal ini sejalan dengan cita-cita dakwah Muhammadiyah dan memberikan kontribusi positif dalam membangun Masyarakat islam yang sebenar benarnya sesui dengan tujuan dari Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

Election observers, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Buton, accredited as an election monitoring institution in Baubau City. The purpose of this election monitoring activity is to ensure that the general election runs smoothly. The method used in this activity is coordination and supervision. The result of this service is that the February 14 2024 voting will not only be a busy time for election participants and election organizers. Election monitoring institutions are also busy with consolidation and training agendas for preparation before going into the field to monitor election implementation. The work of election observers is not only during voting at polling stations. Election observers begin to supervise the election process from the moment the election stage begins. Observers ensure that election organizers carry out all stages and schedules according to what has been determined. Meanwhile, during voting, observers supervise the implementation of voting from the time the polling station opens until it closes. Monitoring is carried out, among other things, regarding voting procedures, vote recapitulation results, including recording findings of suspected fraud, such as money politics and intimidation of voters.

Abstract

Business process is intended to support the success of the One Data policy, which is mandated in Presidential Regulation Number 39 of 2019 concerning One Indonesia Data. The problem is that the Communication and Information Office of South Buton Regency does not yet have a business process map for the One Data Application service. The purpose of this community service is to improve organizational administration, specifically targeting the One Data Service in South Buton Regency. The objective of this business process map is to provide a comprehensive overview of the implementation of programs and activities at the Communication and Information Office of South Buton Regency. The implementation method in this community service activity is through a focus group discussion (FGD). This activity has produced a business process map for the Communication and Information Office of South Buton Regency to support the provision of effective, efficient, integrated, and accountable data services.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in implementing religious culture among Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Kulisusu, North Buton Regency. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with key school stakeholders, observations of religious routines and student interactions, and analysis of relevant school documents. The findings show that religious culture is implemented through integrated habituation practices embedded in daily and periodic school activities, including greeting (salam), prayers before and after lessons, Qur’an recitation (tadarus) at particular moments, strengthening worship discipline, and infaq/charity practices aimed at fostering social care. These practices are sustained through four main mechanisms: habituation, teacher modeling, reinforcement, and monitoring. The study further reveals that PAI teachers play a strategic and multi-dimensional role as program planners, implementers and mentors, role models (uswah), motivators and moral counselors, and evaluators who monitor behavioral change and program continuity in coordination with homeroom teachers and the student affairs unit. Positive impacts are reflected in improved discipline, politeness, and increased participation of many students in religious activities. However, the effects are not evenly distributed due to differences in family support, peer influence, and students’ personal motivation, as well as structural constraints such as limited time and varying classroom commitment. This study implies that strengthening school religious culture requires consistent routines, strong teacher modeling, educational reinforcement, and systematic coordination across school units, alongside enhanced school–parent collaboration. These elements are crucial to ensure the sustainable internalization of religious values and the development of students’ religious character in early adolescence.

Abstract

This research has a number of populations. The population of this study were teachers and students of Class X 1 Senior Highschool 4 Baubau. The population of Islamic Religious Education teachers is 1 person and Student X 1 is 33 people with a total population of 34 people. Because the population of this study did not reach 100 research subjects, the entire population was the object of this research. This research is qualitative research, so in collecting data researchers used observation, interview and documentation techniques. Thus, in data analysis, researchers use qualitative analysis, namely deductive, inductive and comparative thinking. The results of this research show that: 1) the project-based learning planning model for class X 1 Senior Highschool 4 Baubau was well designed by the teacher so as to create interesting and colorful learning; 2) the project-based learning implementation model for class 3) the project-based learning evaluation model for class X 1 Senior Highschool 4 Baubau was created by the teacher using evaluation tools adapted to the learning objectives to be achieved.

Abstract

The social environment plays a crucial role in the process of forming student character. A conducive social environment can have a positive impact on students' moral and ethical development. Qualitative research is a research method that focuses on in-depth understanding of complex phenomena in real contexts. This approach is often used to answer complex questions and explore experiences, perceptions and meanings contained in them. The subjects of this research were 2 teachers, namely Class IV and Class V teachers. Qualitative data analysis is the process of systematically searching and compiling data. obtained from observations, interviews, field notes and documentation studies, organizing data into synthesis, compiling patterns, choosing what is important and what will be studied and making conclusions so that they are easy to understand. The research results show that social interaction, the role of the family, and the impact of the community environment around the school at Nganganaumala 1 State Elementary School are key elements in shaping students' character and moral values. Interactions that occur inside and outside the school environment provide opportunities for students to broaden their horizons about values ​​such as cooperation, empathy, and social responsibility. The role of the family as a model and supporter in the formation of positive attitudes and ethical values ​​also provides a strong foundation for students' personal. development

Abstract

The digital transformation in education necessitates innovative approaches in the development of learning media, including in Islamic Religious Education (IRE). One of the most relevant approaches to the information era is connectivism theory, which emphasizes the importance of knowledge networks in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of connectivism-based learning media in enhancing students’ digital Islamic literacy, defined as the ability to access, evaluate, and utilize Islamic information critically, ethically, and contextually through digital media. This research employed a qualitative approach using library research methods, analyzing primary and secondary sources related to connectivism, instructional media, and digital Islamic literacy. Data were thematically analyzed through interpretive and critical methods based on relevant scholarly literature. The findings indicate that implementing connectivism-based learning media is effective in promoting students’ active participation in Islamic digital knowledge networks, improving critical thinking skills toward online religious content, and fostering moderate religious attitudes. However, challenges such as limited technological access and teacher readiness remain significant barriers to implementation in certain educational settings. The study concludes that connectivism offers a strong theoretical foundation for designing IRE learning media that are contextual, interactive, and aligned with 21st-century educational characteristics. The research recommends the development of a connectivism-oriented digital IRE curriculum and intensive training programs for educators to support effective implementation.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of interactive learning media in Hadith instruction at Madrasah Aliyah Al Qayyum Hendea. The research was motivated by the continuing dominance of conventional, teacher-centered approaches in Hadith learning, which often limit student engagement, motivation, and understanding of the meaning and relevance of Hadith in everyday life. In response to the growing demand for pedagogical innovation in the digital era, this study investigates whether interactive learning media can improve the quality of the learning process and outcomes in Hadith instruction. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design involving an experimental class and a control class. The experimental class was taught using interactive learning media, while the control class received conventional instruction. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test, classroom observation, and student response questionnaires. The data were then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics to determine differences in learning outcomes, student activity, and responses toward the learning process. The findings reveal that interactive learning media significantly improved students’ learning outcomes, classroom participation, and positive responses to Hadith instruction. Students in the experimental class demonstrated higher post-test scores, greater learning mastery, more active involvement during instruction, and stronger motivation compared to those in the control class. These results indicate that interactive media not only enhance cognitive achievement but also enrich the learning experience by making Hadith instruction more engaging, contextual, and meaningful. In conclusion, interactive learning media are effective in improving the quality of Hadith instruction in madrasahs. The study recommends the integration of interactive media into Islamic religious education to support more student centered, relevant, and adaptive learning practices in the contemporary educational context.
