Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang pemaknaan ayat-ayat al-Qur’an dan korelasinya degan isu revolusi mental sebagai diskursus tertentu dapat dikaji secara tematis. Bagi setiap muslim, al-Qur’an diyakini sebagai kitab suci yang di dalamnya memuatproblem solving atas berbagai permasalahan sosial, termasuk yang berkaitan dengan revolusi mental Qur’ani. Pertautan teori revolusi mental dalam penafsiran Hamka dapat ditemukan dalam tafsir al-Azhar, dengan begitu revolusi mental dapat dengan mudah dipahami dan diaktualisasikan umat Islam Indonesia.Beberapa ayat al-Qur’an yang memuat informasi revolusi mental akan dibahas disini berikut serta penjelasannya. Dengan begitu revolusi mental yang termuat dalam al-Quran secara tematis diantaranya; integritas, etos kerja dan gotong royong.

Abstract

There are two elements of art in the Quran which come from two different sources. First, from the internals of Quran, such as language style, diction, correlation between verses, and others. Second, from the external of the Quran, such as how to read, rhythm (nagham/langgam), and others. This study focusedd on the second part, namely the rhythm (nagham) in Quranic verses and more specifically on the Arabic rhythm of Arab. The history of the existence of the rhythm in Quran verses in the Islamic world has existed since Islam appeared in the world. However, in Indonesia, the history of Arabic rhythm is still confusing. Therefore, this study aimed to trace the early history of the entry and use of the Arabic rhythm in Indonesia. This research used descriptive-historical method. This research found the early history of the emergence of the nagham of Arab in Indonesia which is inseparable from the network of archipelago scholars with the Middle East in the twentieth century. Nagham of Arab has continued to develop since the establishment of Jam'iyyatu al-Qurra’ wa al-Huffa>z (JQH) in the 1950s and the presence of PTIQ and IIQ. Arabic rhythm is used in Indonesia in various occasions, such as being used as a competition (MTQ), reading at the beginning of every event, reading of Quran (tadarus), and Quranic recitation concert.

Abstract

The Quran's concern for the natural order is evident through its verses. By studying verses about nature, humans can increase knowledge and include science in analyzing the content of the Quran, as the Ilmi interpretation issued by the Ministry of Religion interprets the kauniyah verses in the Qur'an using scientific findings. This article aims to discuss the Qur'an's insight into constellations, especially the function of constellations based on the interpretation of Ilmi which was launched by the Ministry of Religion and implied by the development of astronomy and astrology. This research is included in the category of literature research with the Ministry of Religion's Ilmi interpretation as the primary source and uses the maudhu'I method with the type of Ilmi interpretation. There are three verses out of the 13 verses that have been analyzed based on the term An-Najm. Concluding using inductive methods. The results of this study show that there are 3 constellation functions based on the interpretation of the Ministry of Religion's Ilmi interpretation, namely functioning as a directional direction, determining seasons, and determining time. The three functions are related to the development of astronomy and astrology. Astronomy can produce new findings through the three constellation functions, namely sextants and astrolabes. Meanwhile, astrology only utilizes the function of constellations as a determinant of seasons by using Javanese astrology, which is known as prey institutions

Abstract

Kajian agama yang awalnya disampaikan secara langsung di mana antara Kyai dan santri berada dalam satu majlis, karena perkembangan teknologi pengajian tersebut dapat direkam dan ditayangkan ulang melalui berbagai media sosial salah satunya YouTube. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis salah satu kajian Hadis yang tayang di YouTube oleh Gus Baha’ dengan materi hadits Arba’in Nawawi pada bab niat. Penelitian ini bersifat etnografi virtual, yang mana data diambil dari kanal YouTube yaitu “Tafsir NU” dan “Islamic Studies With Gus Baha’’. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini meliputi bagaimana teknis pengajian hadis Gus Baha’ dan isi yang terkandung dalam kajian Gus Baha’ terhadap hadis tentang niat. Temuan dalam penelitian ini, pertama Gus Baha’ dalam penyajiannya menggunakan metode bandongan yang dalam penyampaiannya menggunakan bahasa Jawa Pegon sebagaimana tradisi pesantren salaf. Kedua, materi penjelasannya meliputi unsur fikih, sejarah, pemikiran dan qaul sahabat, kontekstualisasi makna hijrah, ajaran tasawuf yang meliputi: kontekstualisasi makna zuhud, ikhlas dan aktualisasi konsep tawadhu’.

Abstract

The words colonialism, imperialism and feudalism are conditioned by nature and attitude rather than tyranny. This is in stark contrast to Islam as a religion that strongly rejects actions that afflict others. This paper aims to find out, how the anticolonialism movement in Islam through nationalism is instilled with a ḥadīts perspective. In this article, the author uses an analytical descriptive method, namely by exposing ḥadīts related to colonialism and nationalism as a counterpoint, then explaining them by analyzing existing ḥadīts. So it can find nationalism in Islam as an anti-colonialism movement. The result of this paper is that in Islam there are two interesting concepts in the rejection of this movement, namely the concept of nationalism and the concept of jihad. Nationalism as a reinforcement of the nation's self-identity will give rise to a fanatical attitude towards the country which will certainly reject colonialism. Meanwhile, jihad in Islam is related to Muslim attitudes towards tyranny carried out by the colonials.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a comprehensive perspective on the use of Javanese nagham in reciting the Qur'an. Scholars have debated this issue, and the purpose of this research is to analyze their views, conduct historical exploration, and understand the cultural context to establish a basis for critical thinking about the legal aspects of using Javanese nagham or langgam. Additionally, this research seeks to explore the implications that arise from this issue. The research methodology employed is qualitative, and data were collected through library research using descriptive-analytical methods. The study focuses on the differing perspectives of scholars regarding the use of Javanese nagham in Qur'anic recitation and its implications for the discourse of Nusantara Islam. The study reveals that scholars' opinions on the use of Javanese langgam in Qur'anic recitation are divided into three categories. The first category consists of scholars who support the use of Javanese style on the condition of adhering to the rules of tajwid. The second category comprises scholars who oppose the use of Javanese style, arguing that the Qur'an should be preserved from influences other than the Arabic nagham. The third category comprises moderate scholars who allow the use of any style as long as it adheres to the rules of tajwid. The implications of using Javanese nagham on the discourse of Nusantara Islam create conflicts between preserving cultural identity and religious conservation, differences in recitation patterns of the Qur'an and tajwid rules, and bring forth possible solutions to widely accept Javanese langgam recitation by the community. In conclusion, this study provides a comprehensive perspective on the use of Javanese nagham in reciting the Qur'an and its implications for the discourse of Nusantara Islam. The study highlights the differing perspectives of scholars and offers possible solutions to the conflicts arising from the use of Javanese style.

Abstract

The Qur'an which was revealed in Arabic became a polemic on how the Qur'an could be understood and studied by people who could not speak Arabic. Then there appeared interpreters who aimed to make it easier to study the Qur'an to be practiced in daily activities. One of the most phenomenal and first works of interpretation in Indonesian is the Tafsir al-Karim which is a book written by Mahmud Yunus. This article aims to explore in depth how Mahmud Yunus interpreted in his Tafsir al-Karim, biography, style, method, and analysis of character education in the Tafsir al-Karim. The researcher concluded that there are 15 values ​​of character education in this Tafsir al-Karim, namely: politeness, birul walidain, respecting others, speaking well, being firm in one's stance, being fair, having good thoughts, tolerance, faith (tawhid), being humble, being pious, integrity, being grateful, being honest, and being responsible.

Abstract

Al-Najwa merupakan pembicaraan secara rahasia yang dilarang oleh syari’at agama sebab mengandung unsur keburukan. Penelitian ini memiliki titik pusat pembahasan pada makna Al-Najwa yang menjadi kebiasaan masyarakat. Tujuan artikel ini untuk menganalisis makna Al-Najwa dalam al-Qur’an yang memfokuskan pada Q.S an-Nisa ayat 114, Q.S al-Tawbah ayat 78, dan Q.S al-Isra’ ayat 47 dengan mengkomparasikan antara pandangan tafsir al-Azhar dan tafsir al-Misbah. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yang mengacu pada beberapa bahan pustaka yang relevan dengan tema penelitian, serta tergolong dalam penelitian deskriptif komparatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik penelaahan terhadap beberapa literatur. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah menunjukkan makna Al-Najwa dalam Q.S al-Nisa’ ayat 114, Q.S al-Tawbah ayat 78, dan Q.S al-Isra’ ayat 47 menurut tafsir al-Azhar dan tafsir al-Misbah. Dari ayat-ayat tersebut penulis menyimpulkan diantara tafsir al-Azhar dan tafsir al-Misbah yang memiliki beberapa persamaan dan perbedaan. Kedua tafsir memiliki persamaan dalam menjelaskan makna Al-Najwa sebagai perilaku berbisik-bisik. Pada ayat pertama tafsir al-Azhar cenderung menggambarkan penafsirannya dengan kasus nyata, sedangkan tafsir al-Misbah lebih condong pada sisi kebahasaan. Ayat kedua tafsir al-Azhar memberikan kutipan peribahasa sebagai penjelas penafsirannya, sedangkan tafsir al-Misbah menyajikan sisi kebahasan Al-Najwa. Kemudian ayat ketiga tafsir al-Azhar dan tafsir al-Misbah memiliki pendapat yang sama, tetapi tafsir al-Misbah lebih menonjolkan pada sisi kebahasaan.
