Several studies have proven the effectiveness of acupressure massage therapy in overcoming health problems in body system disorders. The S1 Nursing Study Program and the Nursing Profession of FITKES UNJANI in its curriculum include acupressure complementary nursing. As an application and contribution in overcoming health problems in the community, community service is carried out in collaboration with Public Health Centers throughout the Cimahi City Region to increase knowledge about acupressure massage for Nurses and Health Cadres. Abstract

This study aims to explore the experiences of malaria patients regarding medication adherence and design a model for medication adherence in malaria patients. This research method is qualitative research with an action research approach. The study results produced a design for SIPENGUAT (Medicine Taking Reminder Information System). The conclusion is that the client's experience regarding compliance with taking medication was that the client did not comply/completely consume Primaquin medication for 14 days because he forgot, was healthy, and took the medicine for a long time. This research produced a design for an information system for adherence to taking malaria medication, namely SIPENGUAT. Keywords: Compliance, Malaria, Design

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of elderly exercise on blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension. The method used is a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test. The results showed that the mean systolic blood pressure before the elderly exercise intervention was 160.00 mmHg, with a standard deviation of 8.083. While the mean value of systolic blood pressure after the elderly exercise intervention was 131.77 mmHg with a standard deviation of 4.799. On diastolic blood pressure, it was found that the mean value of diastolic blood pressure before the elderly exercise intervention was 88.92 mmHg with a standard deviation of 6.211. The results of diastolic blood pressure showed that the average value of diastolic blood pressure after the elderly exercise intervention was 82.31 mmHg with a standard deviation of 3.276. The analysis showed that systolic and diastolic blood pressure decreased with a systolic value = 0.001 and a diastolic value = 0.001. In conclusion, there is an effect of elderly exercise on blood pressure in older adults with hypertension after elderly activity in RW 16 and Posbindu Kenanga Work area of Cipageran Health Center, both systolic and diastolic. Abstract

This study aims to develop a design model for family empowerment in treating patients with type 2 DM in the working area of EMC Cikarang Hospital. This study uses a qualitative design with an action research approach through two stages of implementation, namely experimental phenomenology and focused group discussions (FGD). The results of this study identified four themes, namely: (1) Family knowledge about Diabetes Militus; (2) the role of the family in caring for DM patients (DM diet management, OAD consumption regulation at home (PMO), DM wound treatment, and monitoring blood sugar levels); (3) the role of the family when they find out that a family member has DM; and (4) Supportive examination of DM patients. In conclusion, family empowerment can change the attitudes and behavior of patients by empowering families who can assist in the form of self-care for DMT2 patients so that the quality of self-care in DMT2 patients becomes better and improves the patient's health status on an ongoing basis.
