Abstract

Online learning is learning that is carried out using an internet-connected platform. If the implementation is not good it can cause anxiety. The design of this study used a correlative design with a cross sectional approach. The number of samples is 34 respondents. The instrument used was an online learning questionnaire and the Zung Self-Scale Anxiety Scal (SAS/SRAS) anxiety level. The data analysis method is the Spearman Correlation Test. The results of the study half (50%) of respondents said that the implementation of online learning was good. And almost all (91%) did not experience anxiety (normal) and (9%) experienced mild anxiety. The results of the Spearman Correlation Test showed the value of p = 0.028 <0.05 and the value of r = -0.376. The better the online learning is done, the lower the level of anxiety. Online learning is judged from the four indicators that it is good, it is necessary to pay attention to the factors that influence anxiety. The researcher hopes that this research can be a reference for further research with different factors, variables, locations to make it more complex.

Abstract

Introduction: Bullying is a traumatic experience that can result in various developmental problems in adolescents, particularly those related to mental health. Some individuals may develop post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of experiencing traumatic life events. Objectives: This study aims to investigate the impact of bullying on PTSD among adolescents at MTs Ahmad Yani Jabung Methods: This study used a quantitative, cross-sectional, correlational research design. A proportional stratified random sampling technique was used, involving 97 students as participants. The bullying behavior, as the independent variable, was measured using a Likert-scale questionnaire developed by Chrysanthou and Chrysolavantis (2018). The dependent variable, risk of PTSD, was assessed using the PTSD Reaction Index questionnaire. The Spearman rank correlation test was used for data analysis. Results: The correlation coefficient value (r = 0.309) and the p-value (p = 0.002, where p < 0.05) indicated a significant correlation between bullying behavior and the likelihood of PTSD among adolescents at MTs Ahmad Yani Jabung. Furthermore, bullying behavior was found to be positively and significantly correlated with the risk of PTSD in adolescents. Conclusions: Since the majority of respondents were at risk of developing PTSD and nearly half of all respondents had experienced moderate levels of bullying, it can be concluded that bullying behavior is associated with the risk of PTSD among adolescents at MTs Ahmad Yani Jabung.

Abstract

Abstract

Background: EWSS functions as a cumulative scoring framework that standardizes the clinical assessment of acute illness severity through systematic evaluation of vital sign measurements. Purpose: EWSS is a simple scoring system utilizing the Track & Trigger method based on patients' vital signs to detect early signs of clinical deterioration. It employs physiological parameters to identify patients with severe infections and facilitate triage decisions based on the severity level. Methods: The objective of this study is to compare the accuracy of triage determination in respiratory emergency cases between two groups of students: academic-level nursing students and professional-level nursing students, using the Early Warning System Score (EWSS) instrument. The research was implemented at nursing undergraduate education institutions in Malang City and Malang Regency. The sample consisted of 100 nursing students, divided into two groups: 50 academic-level students and 50 professional-level students. Each respondent was given 10 respiratory emergency vignette cases and performed triage assessments using the EWSS instrument. Results: The analysis showed that the Mann-Whitney test has a significance value 0.45, indicating no significant difference in triage accuracy using EWSS between academic-level and professional-level students. Almost all respondents were able to accurately determine triage for both groups using the EWSS method. Conclusion: EWSS can be broadly utilized by both academic and professional-level nursing students. The triage instrument based on patients' clinical signs and symptoms, EWSS is expected to be widely adopted, including by the general public.
