Abstract

Sustainable CSR in SME business development within industry is as an important challenge which could not be postponed. Performance measurement method of Performance Prism used to measure the Performance of CSR on SME business development at PT.YTL Jawa Timur. Performance Prism is one of an integrated methods which consist of all aspects,i.e; stakeholder satisfaction, contribution, strategy, process and capability. Performance measurement design is also supported by several method such as Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), scoring system with Objective Matrix (OMAX) and Traffic Light System (TLS). The design of CSR Performance measurement in SME business development at PT YTL Jawa Timur with Performance Prism resulted in 37 key Performance indicator (KPI), among others 13 KPI on stakeholder community, 10 KPI on stakeholder KLUCIL, 8 KPI on stakeholder instructur and 6 KPI on stakeholder regulator. From the calculating of Performance measurement using OMAX represent that Performance of CSR in SME business development is 6.72 which means that CSR Performance on SME business development has not optimal yet.

Abstract

Rumah sakit memiliki kewajiban menjaga kebersihan, kesehatan, dan ketepatan waktu dalam penyajian makanan bagi pasien. Rumah sakit harus memiliki dapur yang ergonomis sehingga terpenuhinya terwujudnya layanan kepada pasien yang memuaskan. Adapun permasalahan yang sering ditemukan umumnya berkaitan dengan tata letak atau disain dapur yang tidak ergonomis. Tata letak dapur yang ergonomis berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini dilakukan studi mengenai desain tata letak dapur yang ergonomis. Dari studi itu dihasilkan simpulan antara lain: area yang dianalisis terdapat tiga area, pertama: persiapan, masak, dan pencucian; kedua: pemorsian dan pembungkusan; dan ketiga: pengelompokan dan pengkodean. Area pertama dan kedua perlu dilakukan desain ulang sedangkan ketiga tidak. Selain itu, studi ini menghasilkan simpulan bahwa tidak perlu adanya perubahan pada aspek teknis dan nonteknis yang meliputi denah dapur rumah sakit, tipikal bahan makanan, tipikal peralatan dapur, preferensi pola perancangan penyediaan makanan, preferensi pola belanja, dan preferensi pola aktivitas penyediaan makanan. Namun, aspek ergonomis yang perlu diubah adalah antropometri dan pencahayaan.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan. Pada umumnya, masyarakat pesisir pantai hanya mengandalkan hasil penjualan ikan secara langsung tanpa ada proses pengolahan ikan. Sehingga harga jual ikan murah. Hanya sebagian dari mereka yang menyisakan sedikit ikan segar untuk diolah lebih lanjut. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan proses pengawetan ikan. Proses pengawetan ikan ada banyak cara, antara lain dengan cara penggaraman, pengeringan, pemindangan, pengasapan, peragian dan pendinginan ikan. Pengasapan merupakan cara pengolahan atau pengawetan dengan memanfaatkan kombinasi perlakuan pengeringan dan pemberian senyawa kimia alami dari hasil pembakaranbahan bakar alami. Pengujian organoleptik adalah pengujian yang didasarkan pada proses penginderaan. Pengujian organoleptik bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas ikan hasil olahan sebelum dipasarkan kepada masyarakat luas. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan model pengembangan alat pengasapan ikan yang sesuai dengan masyarakat pesisir pantai. Dengan adanya alat pengasapan ikan ini diharapkan masyarakat pesisir pantai dapat meningkatkan kualitas perekonomiannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Ergonomi, QFD dan Pengujian organoleptik

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di Yayasan Pendidikan Luar Biasa (YPLB) Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Putra Manunggal bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan unit usaha yang dikelola oleh lembaga ini. SLB Putra Manunggal menyediakan pendidikan untuk anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus dan telah menjalankan beberapa unit usaha, yaitu Warung/Toko Kelontong, Ecoprint, dan Cuci Mobil. Pengelolaan ketiga unit usaha tersebut masih belum optimal, sehingga memerlukan pendampingan dan pembinaan dari pihak eksternal. Kegiatan ini mencakup identifikasi kondisi eksisting, perancangan strategi bisnis, serta pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pengelolaan keuangan, termasuk akuntansi dasar dan penyusunan laporan keuangan seperti laporan laba rugi, arus kas, dan neraca. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis SWOT, strategi yang relevan dikembangkan untuk memanfaatkan kekuatan dan peluang serta mengatasi kelemahan dan ancaman. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan efek berganda (multiplier effect) bagi peserta didik dan masyarakat sekitar, seperti peningkatan kesejahteraan dan penciptaan lapangan kerja, serta mendukung kemandirian lembaga.

Abstract

The government is responsible for ensuring the right to health, one of its efforts is the Healthy Campus program. This initiative underpins the establishment of the ITS Medical Center at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) to fulfill students' rights to healthcare services. ITS Medical Center aims to become the leading healthcare service provider for the ITS academic community and the public in East Surabaya. However, numerous complaints persist, with 50% related to extended service waiting times. Additionally, ITS Medical Center experienced an 11% increase in visitors in 2023. Consequently, a service quality evaluation was conducted by integrating Service Quality (SERVQUAL) and lean concepts to identify service gaps, eliminate waste, and enhance services. The study revealed negative results across all SERVQUAL attributes. Out of 24 identified wastes, 17 were deemed critical. These critical wastes and their associated attributes were grouped and analyzed for root causes using Fault-Tree Analysis. The prioritized wastes include patients waiting for medication preparation, the reprocessing of old patient medical records, and the excessive accumulation of medical records. Recommendations for improvement prioritize recording dispensed medications in stock cards at the end of the day and developing a system for medical record recapitulation. These improvements are expected to enhance service quality and increase consumer satisfaction at the ITS Medical Center.

Abstract

Suroboyo Bus, a municipal public transportation initiative managed by the Surabaya Department of Transportation (SubDOT) in Indonesia, was launched to promote the use of public transit by accepting recyclable plastic waste as transit fare payments. However, this transportation system presented challenges, as prior to 2019, Suroboyo Bus performed its operational activities without adequately incorporating operational risk, specifically considering Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) factors. The analysis of risk profiles and a mitigation plan concerning the well-being of both their staff and passengers was uncomprehensive. To address these issues, this paper evaluates the operational risk based on ISO 31000:2018, the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and the Benefit Cost-Analysis (BCA). The analysis identified 114 risks and 189 combinations of risks and impacts across 70 business processes associated with Suroboyo Bus operations, with varying degrees of risk severity. Risk prioritization analysis was performed using the Pareto 80:20 principle. Proposed risk response strategies include avoidance, mitigation, transfer, and tolerance. Evaluation of the feasibility of these strategies through benefits and cost analysis, supplemented by a sensitivity analysis, revealed Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR) values ranging from 1.041 to 1.471, indicating that the proposed mitigation plan is feasible for all evaluated scenarios. These findings underscore the importance of implementing risk mitigation measures to improve the sustainability and effectiveness of the Suroboyo Bus service. Future research should explore the digital application developed for Suroboyo Bus passengers as part of the business process named “Golek Bis” (GOBIS) and other methods that can be used to enhance the quality and comprehensiveness of risk management.

Abstract

The implementation of digital transformation in the public sector has become increasingly essential, particularly in developing countries where governance challenges and citizen expectations are rapidly evolving. While existing studies have identified various success factors for digital transformation—such as leadership, technological infrastructure, and organizational readiness—most of these works treat transformation as a linear process, without differentiating between its distinct stages. Furthermore, current research is predominantly situated in national-level or developed country contexts, offering limited insight into how local governments in resource-constrained environments initiate and sustain transformation efforts.This study aims to address these gaps by identifying the key factors that influence both the initiation and development stages of digital transformation within local governments in a developing country setting. Using a qualitative case study approach, two departments within the local government of Surabaya in Indonesia, were examined. The findings reveal two distinct categories of influential factors: those that trigger the initial adoption and those that accelerate the transformation process. This staged perspective provides practical insights for policymakers and public managers in similar contexts, emphasizing the need for tailored strategies that align with each phase of the transformation journey.

Abstract

Indonesia's public health provider, the Insurance Administration Organization (IAO), provides universal coverage for Work Accident Insurance. As an initiative, it has failed to support all workers. This study assesses productivity recovery risks and associated future costs following occupational accidents, employing risk management methods and scenario analyses to aid decision-making in Indonesia. Focusing on formal workers in Surabaya, this research examines the balance between government benefits and expected productivity rebound upon return. Six risk types are identified and analysed, while the most prevalent risks involve workers still undergoing treatment with uncertain outcomes. As existing coverage schemes risk negative cash flow and deficits, this study also calculates the budget needed for zero-accident targets and maximum compensation to balance government obligations and workers' remuneration. This study has successfully captured the critical factors that can lead to refining coverage and addressing financial shortfalls, allowing improved support for workers' recovery and return productivity.

Abstract

Dalam menyediakan makanan pasien, rumah sakit bertanggung jawab untuk menjaga kebersihan dan kebersihan. Rumah sakit harus memiliki desain dapur yang ergonomis agar para karyawan mampu bekerja secara optimal sehingga mampu memenuhi kebutuhan makanan pasien tepat waktu. Tata letak dapur yang buruk adalah masalah yang paling umum. Tata letak dapur yang tidak optimal akan mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan makro ergonomi dan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk menentukan prioritas desain area dapur Rumah Sakit di Surabaya. Kriteria dalam analisis ini diantaranya adalah antropometri, ventilasi, pencahayaan, temperature, dan kebisingan. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah pemilihan prioritas desain area dapur Rumah Sakit. Dengan hasil tersebut diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menentukan prioritas desain area dapur Rumah Sakit untuk dapat menghasilkan peningkatan pelayanan penyediaan makanan yang baik dari segi higenis dan ketepatan waktunya.
