Abstract

The development of technology affects the work system in all fields, including in the field of Business. Technological developments in the business sector are characterized by the emergence of new companies that utilize the internet, these new companies are in the form of Start Up. Business using the internet is more profitable for businesses and consumers so that it makes people flock to open businesses. With the increasing number of business actors, business competition is getting tighter and the potential for business competition violations is also increasing. This is a challenge for the Business Competition Supervisory Commission as an institution that oversees business competition. therefore, this research will discuss the role of the KPPU in enforcing business competition law. this research aims to increase understanding for business actors regarding the legal certainty of business competition in the digital economy era. The research was conducted using normative juridical research methods that are qualitative in nature. In this research, the discussion chapter is a description of the research results. From this research, a new regulation was found regarding violations of fair business competition in business through the internet/digital. As well as known about the actual functions, powers and duties of KPPU.

Abstract

Pemasaran bagi Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) khususnya di sektor peternakan sapi di Indonesia masih merupakan tantangan. Berkah Taretan Farm (BTF) menghadapi keterbatasan akses pasar dan rendahnya kemampuan penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pengelolaan bisnis peternakan. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan platform digital untuk optimalisasi pemasaran dan efisiensi operasional di BTF, yang berlokasi di Desa Klungkung, Kabupaten Jember. Metode kegiatan meliputi identifikasi masalah melalui survei awal, pelatihan tentang penggunaan platform digital, dan pengembangan media sosial Instagram sebagai alat pemasaran. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan penerapan teknologi digital oleh pengelola BTF, serta kemampuan mereka dalam mengelola platform digital secara mandiri. Penerapan media sosial berhasil memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan visibilitas produk sapi BTF, mengatasi keterbatasan akses pasar yang sebelumnya ada. Meskipun demikian, masih diperlukan pelatihan lanjutan terkait konten dan aspek hukum digital. Keunggulan hasil pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya efisiensi operasional dan jangkauan pasar BTF. Secara keseluruhan, pengabdian ini memiliki potensi besar untuk memberdayakan UMKM di sektor peternakan dengan teknologi digital, meningkatkan daya saing, dan memberikan dampak ekonomi yang berkelanjutan di masyarakat.

Abstract

This research refers in connection to the high tendency of demand for green products which has led some business actors that carry out covert promotions to deceive green consumers through false claims of being environmentally friendly where the implementation is contrary to Law Number 8 of 1999 about Consumer Protection in Indonesia and strategic policies regarding realized by the Government of Indonesia through the RPJMN 2005-2025 about Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP). This article will discuss legal protection arrangements for eco-friendly product consumers and identify the losses and responsibilities of business actors who have carried out greenwashing practices toward green consumers based on doctrinal research (normative juridical) with a statutory and conceptual approach. The purpose of this article is to find out the norms of legal protection for green consumers and increase awareness about the practice of greenwashing. The findings showed the losses experienced by green consumers as a result of greenwashing are material and immaterial costs, while the existence of green consumers is protected by environmental protection and management law, consumer protection law, and eco-label policy.
