Abstract

Study about utilization of interactive multimedia simulation as a learning media on physics learning is very crucial. Currently, the use of interactive simulations with various learning methods has been widely used. This study aims to identify achievement and learning activity of physics teacher candidate by harnessing Technology Enabled Active Learning Simulation (TEALSim) on physics concept. The research type is Pre-Experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subject of the study was 41 student of physics education department at Universitas Negeri Makassar. Data analysis of this study using descriptive and quantitative analysis for research result. The results of the study revealed that there is a significant improvement on before and after giving treatment where the value of N-Gain is mayority on “enough” category by 73,09%. This indicate that the implementation of TEALSim can enhance of student’s achievement in Physics Education Department. Beside of that, according to result of student’s activity analysis, the average is above 80% that is on “very good” category which means that students are very active on doing learning of physics by the utilization of TEALSim

Abstract

Currently, teachers are required not only to be able to master the content of the subjects being taught but also to be able to develop various digital-based learning media such as websites. Currently, the majority of teachers have been able to use learning websites, but there are still very few who are able to create and manage their own learning websites. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the application of the Gold Standard Project Based Learning (GS-PjBL) in the form of training and mentoring is able to encourage teachers to be able to develop learning websites. The implementation of GS-PjBL consists of 7 stages, namely (1) Problems and challenges, (2) Study and development, (3) Testing, (4) Role enhancement, (5) Reflection, (6) Revision, (7) Product publication. . Based on the evaluation results obtained information that there is 1 group has been able to develop and complete a learning website, and the other group has been able to make menu settings on the theme, and install and choose a theme and complete the selection of hosting services. In addition, as an evaluation material, at the end of the activity, participants also filled out a satisfaction questionnaire with the ongoing GS-PjBL model of training and mentoring activities. Based on the response analysis, participants' satisfaction above 79% is in the good category. This shows that participants are satisfied with the activities they have received even though there are some shortcomings.

Abstract

Motivation is a series of attitudes and values that influence individuals to achieve specific things according to individual goals that can be obtained from within oneself, the people around them, and the environment. The purpose of this research is to identify how the influence of the characteristics possessed by a teacher on the motivation and learning patterns of vocational students in remote areas. The type of research used was a mix-method, with a sample of 29 vocational students in one of the districts of West Halmahera. Data analysis is quantitative data from observation, questionnaires, and in-depth interviews. Based on the results of the study, various information was obtained, namely, the characteristics possessed by the teacher incredibly had an influence on student motivation and learning patterns. The standard or example of learning is the teacher

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning tools with Guided Discovery Model Assisted by Interactive Simulation (GDM-IS) on static fluid concepts. This research uses the 4D development method to produce learning tools but only carries out 3 stages, namely Define, Design and Development. At the development stage, validation is carried out on the GDM-IS learning tools that have been developed which include RPP, Student Worksheets (LKPD), Learning Media. Limited trial using a One Shoot Case Study research design. In this design, the learning instruments that have been developed are used in one class as a sample of 38 students. Data on science process skills was taken through observation by two observers. Based on the analysis of the validation results, the assessment of the RPP, LKPD and media is in a percentage above 80% which is in the valid (good) category.
