Abstract

ABSTRACT Rampant fashion Carnival in Nusantara and various other genres triggered by the presence of Jember Fashion Carnaval. Michael Bahtin refer to this phenomenon as intertextuality, namely the de- pendence of the text with other texts, so that the existence of a text is always influenced by previous texts. This intertextuality theory changed the perception of quoting process and bear criticism of the work that emphasizes authenticity and originality. Research using qualitative interpretative approach by analyzing how the developments have affected similar Carnival in other cities and the rise of art genres positive response take part together. Its consistency has been a magnet for photographers, media, photography exhibition, painting, culinary and local creative industries. The formation of Indonesian Carnival Association, incorpora seven provinces in Indonesian Wonderful Archipelago Carnival and Jember Carnival hosted storefront for Nusantara Carnival. The research interpreting that the process of intertextuality is a positive perspective because of its ability to enable similar or different art genres, creating a conducive terrain Carnival. Keywords: Intertextuality, Jember Fashion Carnival, Carnival Terrain     ABSTRAK Merebaknya fashion karnaval di Nusantara dan berbagai genre lain dipicu oleh keberadaan Jember Fashion Carnaval. Michael Bahtin menyebut fenomena ini sebagai intertekstualitas yaitu ketergantungan satu teks dengan teks lain, sehingga keberadaan sebuah teks selalu dipengaruhi oleh teks sebelumnya. Teori intertekstualitas ini mengubah pandangan orang terhadap proses pengutipan karya dan melahirkan kritik terhadap karya yang mengedepankan otentisitas dan orisinalitas. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif interpretastif dengan menganalisis bagaimana perkembangan Jember Fashion Carnaval mempengaruhi merebaknya karnaval seru- pa di kota lain dan bangkitnya respon positif genre-genre seni untuk berkiprah bersama. Kon- sistensinya telah menjadi magnit bagi fotografer, media, pameran fotografi, lukisan, kuliner dan industri kreatif lokal. Terbentuknya Asosiasi Karnaval Indonesia, tergabungnya tujuh propinsi dalam Wonderful Archipelago Carnival Indonesia  dan Jember menjadi tuan rumah etalase karna- val Nusantara. Hasil penelitian ini menginterpretasikan bahwa proses interteks-tualitas kostum pada karnaval merupakan perspektif yang positif karena kemampuannya mengaktifkan genre seni sejenis maupun berbeda sehingga menciptakan medan karnaval yang kondusif. Kata kunci: Intertekstualitas, Jember Fashion Carnaval, Medan Karnaval

Abstract

Nilai-nilai dari warna tradisional Bali adalah salah satu budaya Bali yang harus terus diperkenalkan dan diturunkan dari generasi ke generasi. Nilai-nilai ini yang harus terus dipelajari oleh generasi muda, bukan hanya menjalaninya saja namun juga memahami. Pemahaman ini menjadi penting karena terkait kelestarian nilai tersebut terhadap kemajuan jaman yang terus berubah. Banyak sekali informasi yang masuk dan berkembang di Bali. Kemajuan ini juga berpengaruh dengan bergabungnya kebudayaan luar yang beradaptasi dengan kebudayaan Bali sendiri. Hal ini membuat suatu ketakutan bahwa dalam perkembangannya generasi muda menjadi tidak bisa menyaring dengan benar seluruh informasi yang masuk dan malah mengesampingkan kelokalan dari latar belakang generasi muda sendiri yaitu Bali. Dengan adanya kenyataan bahwa, sebenarnya masyarakat Bali dalam hal ini khususnya generasi muda mengetahui bahwa warna-warna tersebut adalah hal yang sangat identik terhadap lingkungannya. Namun, pengetahuan ini tidak disertai dengan pemahaman yang penuh terhadap nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalamnya dan juga kurangnya sarana pendukungnya. Pentingnya pengetahuan mengenai nilai-nilai luhur yang tersembunyi di balik warna-warna tradisional Bali bagi generasi penerusnya dan juga bagi keberadaannya sebagai warisan budaya yang harus tetap eksis, merupakan dasar dalam melakukan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua tahap metode, diawali dengan metode penelitian menggunakan metode kajian budaya untuk mencari data-data mengenai nilai dari warna tradisional Bali. Metode yang dipakai untuk melakukan perancangan adalah metode eksperimen berdasarkan proses membuat buku yang terdiri dari proses edit buku, proses desain buku dan proses produksi buku

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mendeteksi tingkat kreativitas yang terdapat pada gambar sketsa freehand/manual dan gambar digital mahasiswa pada proses perancangan serta mengukur tingkat kreativitas yang dihubungkan dengan kemampuan sketsa mahasiswa bila kegiatannya bertumpu pada sketsa freehand/ manual & gambar digital. Kegiatan membuat sketsa freehand sebagai cara mengembangkan gagasan di lingkungan mahasiswa Desain Interior di semester atas semakin menurun, diganti dengan penggunaan gambar digital dengan tanpa melalui proses sketsa terlebih dahulu. Penelitian ini akan menjawab pertanyaan apakah kreatifitas yang dicapai mahasiswa melalui sketsa freehand  dapat juga dicapai oleh non-freehand/digital? Studi ini mengkaji hubungan antara kreativitas dengan  gambar sketsa dan digital yang dihasilkan mahasiswa melalui simulasi eksperimen tes gambar yang diberikan.  Menggunakan Teknik Penilaian Konsensual  (Consensual Assessment Technique, CAT) pengukuran kreativitas ditentukan oleh penilaian hasil gambar  proyek yang dihasilkan oleh assesor. Regresi linear merupakan suatu metode untuk menentukan hubungan sebab-akibat antara satu variabel dengan variabel-variabel yang lain, digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel elemen interior dengan parameter pengukuran kreativitas pada gambar sketsa dan digital yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat mengukur tingkat kreativitas yang dihubungkan dengan kemampuan sketsa mahasiswa bila kegiatannya bertumpu pada sketsa manual dan gambar digital. Kata kunci:  sketsa tangan bebas , gambar digital, kreativitas,  Teknik Penilaian Konsensual ABSTRACT This study aimed to detect the level of creativity that is contained in the image freehand sketch / manual and digital pictures of students in the design process as well as measure the level of creativity that is associated with the ability of the student sketch when its activity is based on freehand sketch / manual and digital images.  The freehand activity freehand sketching as a way to develop ideas in the Interior Design students in the upper semester decline, replaced by the use of digital images without going through the process of preliminary sketches. This study will answer the question is student creativity achieved through freehand sketches can also be achieved by non- freehand/digital? This study examines the relationship between creativity with sketches and digital images generated through the simulation experiment students were given a test image. Using the Consensual Assessment Technique (CAT) is determined by measuring the creativity of outcomes assessment project images generated by the assessors. Linear regression is a method for determining causal relationships between the variables with the other variabler, is used to determine the relationship between the variable element of the interior with the parameter measurement of creativity in the digital image and the resulting sketch. The results are expected to measure the level of creativity that is associated with the ability of the student sketches when activities rely on manual sketches and digital images. Abstract

Study the history important to remain us about the cultural value that has been built as moral-ethic from our ancient, until now. One of palace that is consist lot of ethical value, was The Sumenep Palace, Madura”which was built in 1781, designed by Chinese architect Lauw Pai Ngo. The gate, or in other words ˜the entrance”located at the front of the building complex, serves as access in and out of the palace area, which has its own meaning and impression. The Labang Mesem Gate is the entrance to the Sumenep Palace; which has the value of acculturating Islamic, Hindu, Buddhist architectural styles as well as Javanese-Madurese, Chinese and European (Dutch) cultures. The Labang Mesem gate”which has developed on Panembahan Sumolo era”has two types of entrance sizes which are still debate-able”therefore, through historical and descriptive studies, the research tries to reveal the meaning inside it. The research concluded that Tumenggung Ario Notokusumo, son of Bendoro Saud”or familiar called as Panembaham Sumolo”educate people with intangible cultural value about being humble soul”defined as ˜Andhap Asor, through formation of Labang Mesem Gate”so that the world could build on harmonious life even on their diversity.

Abstract

Shopping center with atmospheric stimuli design needs to be well formulated in marketing strategy to expose its competitive advantage. As a result, most designs included in the marketing tactic scheme pay more attention to all factors related to the lifestyle in order to make designs exist and be appreciated by the society. Design is one of the key factors of shopping center to gain its success. This research aimed to find out to what extent the visitors perception is different towards shopping centers which has different lifecycles. The research studied two things, first was exploratory research intended to find the embodiment of atmospheric (atmospheric variables).The second research was done in a quantitative method, (multiple regression). This research studied the perception of a hundred mall visitors regarding how the variables of the interior atmosphere affected their shopping habit. The independent variables in the research were the exterior features and building configuration, interior features and supporting facilities. The dependent variable was the the visitor behavior. As a conclusion, the atmospheric interior design of a mall that is embodied in its interior element supported the hypothesis which said that existence of experience which felt differently according to visitor perception at shopping centers in different lifecyle.
