Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of the application of light motor service SOP (tune-up) to Workshop mechanical performance in Jakarta. This study was conducted at 15 Workshop in Jakarta as representatives with data obtained from 45 mechanics and how big is the relationship of motorcycle tune-up service to mechanical performance. This research is a quantitative descriptive research method with regression and correlation. In this research, the percentage of application of service SOP as an independent variable and mechanical performance as a dependent variable. In this study using 45 respondents mechanics, the 45 mechanics will be a sample of research. The data collection method used is by the method of filling the questionnaire (form) on the independent variable is the percentage of application of SOP service and documents for the dependent variable is the mechanical performance. From the results of the research, it is evident that the variable (x) has a relationship to the variable (y) that is equal to 14.54% and the rest can be obtained from other factors. And between the variable (x) and the variable (y) has a positive relationship, ie the resulting value will be directly proportional.

Abstract

Abstract Our education is required to develop skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity or which called “The 4Cs”. Teachers in Indonesia have met educational qualifications, but in pedagogic, professional, social, and personal competencies there are still many teachers who have not qualified yet, especially regarding the concept of learning which is often referred to as higher-order thinking skills or better known as Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The purpose of the article is to find out, provide an overview, and techniques for developing HOTS instruments for productive vocational school teachers in East Jakarta. The teacher of vocational school are expected to understanding and be able to develop HOTS-based assessment instruments. In this condition, it is necessary to provide training for productive teachers of SMK in improving the quality of learning through the preparation of HOTS-based assessment instruments. The method used in this article are by giving a lecture, doing the discussion, and giving online training using zoom meeting and google classroom which is attended by productive vocational teachers in East Jakarta. The training was given in 3 sessions, there are the presentation of HOTS-based learning planning materials, presenting HOTS-based assessment materials, and continued with training in developing HOTS-based assessment instruments. After the training was carried out, the participants were given a questionnaire to find out their general understanding of the HOTS assessment. The results show that 83.3% of respondents understand the concept of HOTS. By 76.7% of respondents stated that HOTS-based assessments have begun to be applied at the SMK level. While feedback on HOTS learning outcomes shows that 86.7% of respondents agreed that the school supported HOTS-based learning and assessments. In general, respondents (67%) were able to develop HOTS-based assessment instruments after attending the training. The impact of the results of this training is the availability of HOTS-based questions for vocational subjects that can measure the higher-order thinking skills of vocational students. Abstrak Dunia pendidikan kita dituntut untuk mengembangan ketrampilan seperti komunikasi, kolaborasi, berpikir kritis, dan kreativitas atau disebut dengan istilah 4Cs (Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication and Creativity). Guru di Indonesia telah memenuhi kualifikasi pendidikan, namun dalam kompetensi pedagogik, professional, sosial, dan kepribadian masih banyak guru yang belum mumpuni, apalagi terhadap konsep pembelajaran yang sering disebut sebagai kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS. Tujuan dari artikel untuk mengetahui, memberikan gambaran, dan teknik mengembangkan instrument HOTS bagi guru produktif SMK di Jakarta Timur. Diharapkan guru produktif SMK memahami dan mampu mengembangkan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Melihat kondisi demikian, maka diperlukan pelatihan bagi guru-guru produktif SMK dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran melalui penyusunan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan ceramah dan diskusi serta praktik secara daring menggunakan zoom meeting dan google classroom yang diikuti oleh guru-guru Produktif SMK di Jakarta Timur. Pelatihan diberikan dalam 3 sesi, yaitu pemaparan materi perencanaan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS, penyampaian materi penilaian berbasis HOTS, diskusi, dan dilanjutkan dengan latihan menyusun instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Setelah dilaksanakan pelatihan peserta diberikan kuesioner untuk mengetahui pemahaman secara umum terhadap penilaian HOTS. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 83,3% responden memahami konsep dari HOTS. Sebesar 76,7% responden menyatakan penilaian berbasis HOTS sudah mulai diterapkan pada tingkat SMK. Sedangkan umpan balik hasil pembelajaran HOTS 86,7% responden setuju sekolah mendukung pembelajaran dan penilaian dilaksanakan berbasis HOTS. Secara umum responden (67%) mampu mengembangkan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari hasil pelatihan ini tersedianya soal-soal berbasis HOTS untuk mata pelajaran kejuruan yang dapat mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa SMK.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang valid dalam bentuk video pada mata pelajaran Konsentrasi Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan (KK TKR), khususnya materi Overhaul Cylinder Head dan Cylinder Block. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 52 Jakarta pada peserta didik kelas XI Teknik Kendaraan Ringan sebanyak 56 siswa pada tahun pelaksanaan penelitian sesuai dengan periode penyusunan skripsi. Uji validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi yang mencakup aspek materi, pembahasan, penyajian, dan pedagogik, serta oleh ahli media yang mencakup aspek audio, visual, dan penggunaan. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh persentase sebesar 95,71% dengan kategori sangat layak. Validasi ahli media memperoleh persentase sebesar 95,29% dengan kategori sangat layak. Selanjutnya, uji kelayakan kepada peserta didik memperoleh persentase sebesar 91,38% yang menunjukkan bahwa media video pembelajaran diterima dengan sangat baik. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pendukung dalam proses pembelajaran praktik otomotif, serta berpotensi meningkatkan efektivitas penyampaian materi prosedural yang membutuhkan visualisasi langkah kerja secara sistematis. Abstract: This study aimed to develop a valid instructional media in the form of a video for the Light Vehicle Engineering Specialization Program, specifically on the topic of Overhaul of Cylinder Head and Cylinder Block. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model, which consists of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 52 Jakarta involving 56 eleventh-grade students of the Light Vehicle Engineering program during the academic period corresponding to the thesis completion. Validation was carried out by subject matter experts covering aspects of content, discussion, presentation, and pedagogy, as well as by media experts covering audio, visual, and usability aspects. The material expert validation resulted in a percentage of 95.71%, categorized as highly feasible. The media expert validation obtained a percentage of 95.29%, also categorized as highly feasible. Furthermore, the feasibility test conducted with students yielded a percentage of 91.38%, indicating that the instructional video was very well received. The findings indicate that the developed instructional video is feasible to be used as a supporting medium in automotive practical learning and has the potential to enhance the effectiveness of delivering procedural material that requires systematic visualization of work steps.

Abstract

Learning media continues to develop and become an important component that supports the learning process because it can improve the quality of learning, help increase student engagement, and make lessons more accessible. The utilisation of learning media has some weaknesses such as not being able to display the original movement in practice and less interactive. These weaknesses can be overcome through media customization and development. Quality education can be realized by changing conventional media into learning media that is more appropriate and easier to understand. This study aims to develop and design learning video media for clutch system maintenance subject matter in Light Vehicle Chassis and Powertrain Maintenance subjects according to material experts, media experts, and media feasibility tests on students. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method and uses the 4D development model. The results of the feasibility test of video-based learning media resulted 95.29% from material expert validators, 86.66% from media expert validators, and 88% from the results of the media feasibility test results of 30 students. Based on the overall results of the product feasibility test indicate that video-based learning media is considered very feasible for use in learning.
