Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of motivation, discipline, adversity quotient and integrity toward teachers’ competency test (UKG) of physical education and sports teachers in Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru. The method used in this study was a comparative causal method. Data analysis was used to determine the effect of exogenous variables with endogenous variables and between variables using Path Analysis with statistical calculations using Lisrel 8.80. Research data were collected using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire from four existing exogenous variables, namely motivation (X1), discipline (X2), adversity quotient (X3), integrity (X4), and documentary analysis for endogenous variables resulting from teachers’ competency test (UKG) of physical education and sports teachers (Y). The result of this study is motivation, discipline, adversity quotient and integrity have a positive direct effect on teachers’ competency test (UKG) of physical education and sports teachers in Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru.

Abstract

Natural fiber materials are the sustainable sources used for future automotive elements, where the centrifugal clutch utilizes the frictional force on the clutch pads to transfer kinetic energy from the rotating crankshaft to the transmission and the wheels. These pads are produced from several natural composites, such as coconut fiber, as well as wood and shellfish powder, whose characteristics are being investigated for hardness, microstructure, and wear properties. Based on this study, performance analysis was carried out on the samples of composite centrifugal clutch applied to automatic motorcycles. As a comparison, subsequent analysis was conducted on the genuine clutch pad materials, where the results showed differences in the characteristics of each mixture composition of the natural fiber composites. This indicated that the addition of wood powder composition to the clutch pad increased the hardness and special wear values by an average of approximately 12.9 and 1.16%, respectively. Furthermore, the composite content was observed in the microstructure, as the maximum power and torque on the natural fiber materials were 10.7 hp and 17.17 N.m, respectively. The value was found to be closely similar to the genuine parts with maximum power and torque of 10.8 hp and 16.02 N.m, respectively.

Abstract

This article presents the cognitive load in choosing answers to conceptual understandingtest of the human regulatory system. The purpose of this study is to find the influence ofcognitive load directly and indirectly on the variables that are identified. The research methodused was survey research and analyzed based on the path coefficient with the 8.72 Lisrelprogram. The population in this study are students of class XI science from three schools inKabupaten Serang a numbers of 463 students and the sample taken a numbers of 215 students.The results of this study indicate that there is a direct influence of cognitive load on heuristicjudgment. The effect directly have a significant positive effect directly, namely cognitive loadon working memory, and working memory on heuristic judgment. One hypothesis had asignificant indirect effect, namely cognitive load on heuristic judgment through workingmemory.

Abstract

Abstract Our education is required to develop skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity or which called “The 4Cs”. Teachers in Indonesia have met educational qualifications, but in pedagogic, professional, social, and personal competencies there are still many teachers who have not qualified yet, especially regarding the concept of learning which is often referred to as higher-order thinking skills or better known as Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The purpose of the article is to find out, provide an overview, and techniques for developing HOTS instruments for productive vocational school teachers in East Jakarta. The teacher of vocational school are expected to understanding and be able to develop HOTS-based assessment instruments. In this condition, it is necessary to provide training for productive teachers of SMK in improving the quality of learning through the preparation of HOTS-based assessment instruments. The method used in this article are by giving a lecture, doing the discussion, and giving online training using zoom meeting and google classroom which is attended by productive vocational teachers in East Jakarta. The training was given in 3 sessions, there are the presentation of HOTS-based learning planning materials, presenting HOTS-based assessment materials, and continued with training in developing HOTS-based assessment instruments. After the training was carried out, the participants were given a questionnaire to find out their general understanding of the HOTS assessment. The results show that 83.3% of respondents understand the concept of HOTS. By 76.7% of respondents stated that HOTS-based assessments have begun to be applied at the SMK level. While feedback on HOTS learning outcomes shows that 86.7% of respondents agreed that the school supported HOTS-based learning and assessments. In general, respondents (67%) were able to develop HOTS-based assessment instruments after attending the training. The impact of the results of this training is the availability of HOTS-based questions for vocational subjects that can measure the higher-order thinking skills of vocational students. Abstrak Dunia pendidikan kita dituntut untuk mengembangan ketrampilan seperti komunikasi, kolaborasi, berpikir kritis, dan kreativitas atau disebut dengan istilah 4Cs (Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication and Creativity). Guru di Indonesia telah memenuhi kualifikasi pendidikan, namun dalam kompetensi pedagogik, professional, sosial, dan kepribadian masih banyak guru yang belum mumpuni, apalagi terhadap konsep pembelajaran yang sering disebut sebagai kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS. Tujuan dari artikel untuk mengetahui, memberikan gambaran, dan teknik mengembangkan instrument HOTS bagi guru produktif SMK di Jakarta Timur. Diharapkan guru produktif SMK memahami dan mampu mengembangkan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Melihat kondisi demikian, maka diperlukan pelatihan bagi guru-guru produktif SMK dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran melalui penyusunan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan ceramah dan diskusi serta praktik secara daring menggunakan zoom meeting dan google classroom yang diikuti oleh guru-guru Produktif SMK di Jakarta Timur. Pelatihan diberikan dalam 3 sesi, yaitu pemaparan materi perencanaan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS, penyampaian materi penilaian berbasis HOTS, diskusi, dan dilanjutkan dengan latihan menyusun instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Setelah dilaksanakan pelatihan peserta diberikan kuesioner untuk mengetahui pemahaman secara umum terhadap penilaian HOTS. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 83,3% responden memahami konsep dari HOTS. Sebesar 76,7% responden menyatakan penilaian berbasis HOTS sudah mulai diterapkan pada tingkat SMK. Sedangkan umpan balik hasil pembelajaran HOTS 86,7% responden setuju sekolah mendukung pembelajaran dan penilaian dilaksanakan berbasis HOTS. Secara umum responden (67%) mampu mengembangkan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari hasil pelatihan ini tersedianya soal-soal berbasis HOTS untuk mata pelajaran kejuruan yang dapat mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa SMK.

Abstract

Abctract The quality of learning can be seen from the quality of the assessment instruments prepared by the teacher. Meanwhile, 21st century vocational school students need to be prepared to have higher-order thinking skills through HOTS-based practice performance assessments. To improve the ability of productive teachers in vocational schools, training is needed in developing HOTS-based practice performance assessment instruments. The development of HOTS-based performance appraisal instruments is carried out through training for productive vocational teachers. The learning approach model is carried out through the project base learning model, lectures, and discussions. The results of the instrument development were carried out by expert validation to see the suitability of the evaluation materials and concepts. Prior to the training, teachers had not been maximal in understanding and developing practical performance appraisal instruments, because so far there were rarely opportunities to explore and practice compiling practical performance appraisal instruments. The results of the training showed an increase in both understanding and ability to develop performance appraisal instruments based on the steps of instrument development and the study of instrument development theory. The teacher's ability in developing performance instruments includes basic competency analysis, preparation of instrument grids, and instrument preparation, as well as instrument validation. Abstrak Kualitas pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari kualitas instrumen penilaian yang disusun oleh guru. Sedangkan siswa-siswa SMK abad 21 perlu disiapkan memiliki kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi melalui melalui penilaian kinerja praktik berbasis HOTS. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru produktif di SMK perlu dilakukan pelatihan dalam mengembangkan instrument penilaian kinerja praktik berbasis HOTS. Pengembangan instrumen penilaian kinerja berbasis HOTS dilakukan melalui pelatihan bagi guru-guru produktif SMK. Model pendekatan pembelajaran dilakukan melalui model pembelajaran project base learning, ceramah, dan diskusi. Hasil pengembangan instrumen dilakukan validasi ahli untuk melihat kesesuain dengan materi dan konsep evaluasi. Sebelum dilakukan pelatihan, guru belum maksimal dalam memahami dan mengembangkan instrument penilaian kinerja praktik, karena selama ini jarang ada kesempatan untuk mendalami dan berlatih menyusun instrument penilaian kinerja praktik. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan baik dari pemahaman maupun kemampuan mengembangkan instrument penilaian kinerja berdasarkan langkah-langkah pengembangan instrument dan kajian teori pengembangan instrumen. Kemampuan guru dalam pengembangan instrument kinerja meliputi analisis kompetensi dasar, penyusunan kisi-kisi instrument, dan penyusunan instrument, serta vaidasi instrumen. Abstract

The purpose of community service (PkM) is to improve teacher competence in learning through the preparation of HOTS-based assessment instruments. Teacher competence in developing HOTS-based assessment instruments has an impact on students so that they can have the 6C skills (communication, creative, critical thinking, collaboration, compassion, and computational) needed in the 21st century era. The method used in PkM is training in compiling assessment instruments based on HOTS. The opening of the PkM was carried out by Asda of Cianjur Regency and remarks by the director of Postgraduate UNJ on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Bobojong Village Office. Implementation of training on the preparation of HOTS-based assessment instruments on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at SMP Negeri 1 Mande, starting at 08.00-15.00 WIB followed by discussions, doing assignments in Google Classroom. The training materials consist of lesson planning and preparation of HOTS-based assessment instruments. This training was attended by teachers of SMP, SMA, and SMK in the Kec. Mande. The results of the training showed that the ability of participants to the HOTS-based assessment instrument was 63%. Prior to training, the average knowledge of HOTS-based assessment instruments was only 47%. The results of this training showed that there was an increase in understanding the HOTS-based assessment instrument by 16%. The ability to compose a HOTS-based multiple choice instrument is demonstrated by completing the given task well. Abstrak Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pembelajaran melalui penyusunan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Komptensi guru dalam mengembangkan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS memberikan dampak terhadap siswanya agar dapat memiliki kemampuan 6C (communication, creative, critical thinking, collaboration, compassion, dan computational) yang diperlukan dalam era abad 21. Metode yang digunakan dalam PkM adalah pelatihan menyusun instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Pembukaan PkM dilakukan oleh Asda Kabupaten Cianjur dan sambutan oleh direktur Pascasarjana UNJ pada hari Senin, 25 Juli 2022 di Kantor Desa Bobojong. Pelaksanaan pelatihan penyusunan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS pada Hari Selasa, 26 Juli 2022, di SMP Negeri 1 Mande, dimulai pukul 08.00-15.00 WIB dilanjutkan diskusi, mengerjakan tugas di google classroom. Materi pelatihan terdiri dari perencanaan pembelajaran dan penyusunan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh guru SMP, SMA, maupun SMK di lingkungan Kec. Mande. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan peserta terhadap instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS sebesar 63%. Sebelum pelatihan rata-rata memiliki pengetahuan tentang instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS hanya sebesar 47%. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan dalam memahami instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS sebesar 16%. Kemampuan menyusun instrumen pilihan ganda (PG) berbasis HOTS ditunjukkan dengam menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan dengan baik.

Abstract

Higher education quality assurance is aimed at quality education. Universities must systematically carry out the quality assurance process through the Higher Education Quality Assurance System and refer to the National Higher Education Standards. There are two quality assurance systems in higher education, namely; internal quality assurance and external quality assurance. The internal quality assurance system is a systemic activity of quality assurance of higher education by each university autonomously to control and improve the implementation of higher education in a planned and sustainable manner. Meanwhile, the external quality assurance system is an assessment activity carried out by outside units to determine the feasibility of universities. This study aims to fully describe two main things in the quality assurance system in higher education institutions, namely; internal quality assurance and external quality assurance. In obtaining this research data, a qualitative approach to the type of library research is used, by collecting data from books, journals and articles. Data analysis is carried out using content analysis. The results of the study found that: First, internal quality assurance includes: policies and procedures for quality assurance; approval, monitoring and periodic review of programs and awards; student assessment, quality assurance of teaching staff/lecturers; learning resources and student support; information systems; public information. Second, external quality assurance, namely: the use of procedures; process development; criteria for decisions; process in accordance with the purpose; reporting; follow-up procedures; periodic review of the implementation; and system-wide analysis

Abstract

In current developments, CDI ignition systems are widely used in motorcycle vehicles. This study aims to determine the effect of using variations of CDI Limiter and CDI unlimiter with spark plugs on torque, power, and fuel consumption using pertamax fuel. The research method is an experimental research method, carried out on a Vespa Strada 150 CC motorcycle. Research data obtained from tests using a dynamometer to determine the value of torque and power generated which will later be analyzed by directly observing the experimental results then drawing conclusions and determining the results of research conducted in the form of tables and diagrams, while for testing fuel consumption using measuring cup and calculating fuel consumption. Based on this report, shows that there are differences in torque, power, and fuel consumption produced. The highest torque value is found in the CDI unlimiter variation with platinum spark plugs at a rotating speed of 11000 rpm producing a torque of 7.09 Nm, while the highest power value is also found in the CDI unlimiter variation with Platinum Spark Plugs at 11000 rpm of rotating speed producing power of 10.7 HP and fuel consumption (SFC) the highest value was obtained in the CDI Limiter variation with platinum spark plugs at 11000 rpm resulting in an SFC of 0.67 L/HP.h.

Abstract

Based on the experience of automatic motorcycle users Honda Vario 150, the motorcycle has several weaknesses, but one of the weaknesses that often occurs is the slow acceleration of the motorcycle from low to medium speed. CVT transmission system (Continuously Variable Transmission) affects the slow acceleration of a motorcycle from low to medium speed. The purpose of this study is to analyze the results of testing the use of roller weights with standard weights (18 g), 16 mix standard, and 16 g to get the value of the best acceleration on a dead motorcycle c Honda Vario 150. The research method used is an experimental research method using two research methods, namely testing with a dynamometer and testing with acceleration measurements with logger pro software. The use of a standard roller weight (18 g) is the roller weight with the fastest acceleration on a Honda Vario 150 motorcycle. This is evidenced by an average acceleration of 2.98 m/s2 . While the roller weight of 16 mix standard and 16 g experienced a decrease in acceleration. For roller weight 16 mix standard, there was a decrease in acceleration of 15.44% with an average acceleration of 2.52 m/s2 . And on the 16 g roller weight, there is a decrease in acceleration of 28.86 % with an average acceleration of 2.12 m/s2.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to enrich the discussion of the component of developing instrument as a realization of student reflection on their learning environment, and as an evaluation by researchers, teachers, and principals to increase students’ motivation and achievement. The approach of the research is a quantitative research with developing the instrument method. The research is conduct on 1.067 students of public middle school in Jakarta. The result demonstrate that the instrument that developed and validated from the instrument of Classroom Emotional Climate (CEC) and the instrument of Test Of Science-Related Attitudes (TOSRA) have eight dimensions are, collaboration, motivation, care, clarity, attitude to scientific inquiry, enjoyment of lessons, adoption of scientific attitudes, and sosial implications of science, used LISREL to test Confirmatory Factor Analysis are 37 items. The further analysis use Rasch Fit Item value is 36 items and 589 person, have five items level of difficulty and person abilities are also clustered into five levels. Besides that, Cronbach's alpha value is 0.92, Person reliability is 0.88 and item reliability is 0.99, shows that the instrument results is reliabel, therefore able to use.
