Abstract

Industry is one of the main driving forces in the economy, this can be proven from economic data which shows the contribution of industry to economic growth. However, if we look further, the industries that existed at this time were concentrated in certain parties, giving rise to inequality, both in terms of ownership structure and the resulting economic impacts. Therefore, alternatives are needed to answer the phenomenon of industrial concentration that is occurring today. This research aims to offer a concept that can break down the concentration of control of certain parties in an industry so that there is equality in ownership and access to economic resources.

Abstract

The Indonesian government, in its capacity as a regulator, has established a Business Competition Supervisory Commission, which has the task of ensuring that competition between industrial players in Indonesia runs healthily. The results of this research are that, first, digitalization is able to influence people's trust in storing their assets in a financial institution. Second, the mapping of the market leader in the mining industry is controlled by companies operating in the bauxite and mineral sectors based on the number of assets and profit and loss owned by the company as well as the company's low expenses so that it can expand market share. Third, mapping the manufacturing industry, which experienced a significant decline in profits during the pandemic, one of which was the Garuda Indonesia Company, but in 2021 it began to experience an increase, but this is different with Telkom Indonesia, which experienced an increase in profits during the pandemic due to changes in lifestyle. online to offline.

Abstract

The Islamic banking industry in Indonesia has experienced significant growth in recent years, both in terms of the number of institutions and total assets managed. However, its contribution to the national banking market share remains relatively low. One of the main challenges faced is how to maintain optimal and sustainable profitability levels. Profitability is a crucial indicator reflecting the efficiency of performance and the effectiveness of asset management in generating profits. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the profitability of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia for the 2018-2023 period. The results of this study indicate that of the four independent variables, only one variable has a significant effect on the dependent variable, namely the OE/OI variable, with a negative direction. Meanwhile, the NPF, FDR, and CAR variables do not affect the profitability of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. These results are expected to provide strategic contributions in managerial decision-making, policy formulation by regulators, and the development of academic literature in the field of Islamic finance, especially in understanding the factors that influence the performance and sustainability of Islamic banking in Indonesia.

Abstract

Literasi keuangan merupakan salah satu pokok utama dalam rangka peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat di era modern. Pengetahuan terkait pengelolaan keuangan yang baik dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mengelola keuangannya dengan baik serta membuka akses terhadap produk produk lembaga keuangan yang dapat membantu aktivitas ekonomi masyarakat. Dengan terbukanya akses keuangan, maka masyarakat dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan kekayaan finansial yang dimiliki serta dapat memperkokoh kondisi ekonomi dan keuangan untuk mejamin taraf hidup yang lebih baik di masa depan. Indonesia sebagai negara dengan penduduk muslim terbesar masih memiliki potensi yang terbuka luas dalam pengembangan ekosistem keuangan syariah. Dengan meingkatnya literasi keuangan masyarakat, khususnya keuangan syariah diharapkan kedepannya Indonesia dapat menjadi sebuah percontohan dalam mengembangkan ekonomi syariah yang modern, maju, dan berdampak baik dari sisi regional maupun global. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berfokus pada peningkatan literasi keuangan syariah pada masyarakat Kecamatan Singosari, yang merupakan salah satu wilayah Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) di Provinsi Jawa Timur.

Abstract

This study was conducted to understand the aspects that consist in zakah, as one out of five principles of islam : religious, economic, and social. Al Qur'an, as the holy book of islam, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) hadiths, along with books and scientific journal are used as data. Literature review is used as the approach of this study. Zakah cannot be treated only as a form of worship towards Allah, The Creator of All, but zakah has further means and functions, and benefits to all humanity through its worldly aspects, namely  economic and social. The correct establishment of zakat can be a solution on solving the problems that emerge in the economic and social areas. This research is limited on viewing the effects of  zakah in the light of its benefit on religious, economic and social. The next research that conducted on this field perhaps can broaden the view and fill the empty space, because zakah still can be seen on another point of view or perspective. Any further research conducted on the theme of zakah will furthermore justify the position of it as a tool of community stability that affect not only for moslem as the follower of islam, but to all of humanity.Keywords : Islam, Zakah, Al Qur'an, Hadiths of  Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Economic, Social
