Anemia is one of the nutritional problems of adolescents in Indonesia. One of the efforts to prevent anemia in adolescent girls is by providing iron tablets. However, many adolescent girls are still not obedient in taking iron tablets. Lack of knowledge is one of the factors causing the behavior of adolescent girls in taking iron tablets. The purpose of this activity is to provide education about iron tablets to adolescent girls in high schools in Bantul Regency to improve the behavior of taking iron tablets by increasing knowledge, attitudes, intentions and subjective norms. Lectures and questions and answers using LCD and Power Point media are used to implement the activity. Materials on anemia, iron tablets, personal hygiene during menstruation, and stunting were given by two lecturers from the Akbidyo Health Sciences College. The knowledge, attitudes, and intentions of adolescent girls about iron tablets increased. It is necessary to strengthen the role of teachers, friends, and parents to provide information about iron tablets as an effort to prevent anemia in adolescent girls.

The sample in this study is the total population, namely all pregnant women in the third trimester who are willing to be research respondents from the time the education begins until it is completed. Totaling 30 respondentsResults: The results of the paired sample t-test analysis show that the p-value is <0.012. So it can be concluded that the p-value is 0.012 < 0.05.Conclusion: There is a significant effect of providing education on preparation for exclusive breastfeeding through face-to-face classes for pregnant women on breastfeeding self-efficacy

Anemia in adolescents can have an adverse impact on decreased immunity, learning concentration, fitness, and productivity. The provision of Fe tablets to adolescents is carried out as one of the interventions to reduce the prevalence of anemia. Adherence of adolescent girls in consuming Fe tablets is one of the indicators of the success of anemia prevention and control programs in adolescent girls. The high and low level of compliance to consuming Fe tablets in adolescents is due to several factors, one of which is self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and adherence to taking Fe tablets in adolescent girls at SMPN 1 Sewon Yogyakarta. This study was conducted on 90 adolescent girls in class VII at SMPN 1 Sewon Yogyakarta. This study included quantitative research with analytic observational research type with a cross-sectional-study approach and using a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis was performed by univariate analysis using frequency distributions and percentages, and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test. The results showed that respondents who had a high level of self-efficacy amounted to 51.1%, while the low category amounted to 48.9%. In addition, the results of this study indicate that the level of compliance of adolescent girls in consuming Fe tablets at SMPN 1 Sewon Yogyakarta is mostly in the high category of 55.6%, while the low category is 44.4%. The results of data analysis using the chi-square test obtained a p-value of 0.000 using an alpha of 0.05, so the p-value <0.05. The results of this study can be concluded that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and adherence to taking Fe tablets in adolescent girls at SMPN 1 Sewon Yogyakarta. Keywords: Anemia, Self Efficacy, and Adherence to Taking Fe Tablets.

Background: Anemia in pregnant women is a significant health issue in various countries, including Indonesia. This condition can increase the risk of preterm birth, low birth weight babies, and complications during delivery. The prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in Yogyakarta was 16.50% in 2022, with Bantul district ranking third highest. In Panggungharjo Village, Bantul, anemia in pregnant women has become a focus in efforts to improve maternal and child health. Objectives:To identify three factors influencing the anemia status of pregnant women after assistance from the Family Assistance Team. Methods:This research is a quantitative study with an analytical observational design and a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 78 respondents from a population of 352 pregnant women in Panggungharjo Village. The variables studied were knowledge of anemia, adherence to iron tablet consumption, Upper Arm Circumference (LILA), and hemoglobin (Hb) levels. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 22.Results:The study found that knowledge about anemia and adherence to consuming iron tablets did not have a significant relationship with anemia status. However, Upper Arm Circumference (LILA) had a significant relationship with anemia status (ρ = 0,013). Pregnant women with normal LILA tended to have better anemia status compared to those experiencing Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK).Conclusion: Upper Arm Circumference (LILA) is the most significant factor influencing anemia status in pregnant women. Efforts to improve the nutritional status of pregnant women through interventions that increase LILA can be an effective strategy to reduce the prevalence of anemia. The Family Assistance Team is advised to continue providing education about anemia and the importance of consuming iron tablets, as well as to monitor the nutritional status of pregnant women holistically and continuously. Keywords: Anemia, pregnant women, family assistance

Background: The contraceptive method that is most in demand by the public is the injection typecontraceptive method, even though the IUD and Implant are more effective. Cadres, Family PlanningField Officers, and Midwives are officers who directly carry out IEC on contraceptives for fertile agedcouples. The poor quality of IEC will affect the receipt of information about IUD contraceptives andimplants. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of IEC in the FamilyPlanning Program in improving IUD and implantsMethods: This study is a qualitative study with a case study design. The unit of analysis in this studyis at the individual level. Research subjects for the qualitative study were 1 person from P3AP2KBSleman Regency, namely the Head of IEC, 4 Family Planning Field Officers, 17 family planningcadres, and 4 PUS, 2 midwives in the Moyudan Health Center and Mlati Health Center. The samplingtechnique was done by using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed by usingexplanation techniques (explanation building)Results: Cadres and Family Planning Field Officers do not use the media optimally and materialpresented is limited. The obstacles experienced by cadres in the Information and EducationCommunication process were not mastering the material and not having the skills to do IEC, while theobstacles experienced by Family Planning Field Officers were a lack of Human Resources and adouble workload so they could not directly provide IEC to couples of childbearing age. Conclusion: The implementation of Information and Education Communication for Fertile Couples byCadres and Family Planning Field Officers generally does not work properly. The impact is that manyfertile aged couples do not use contraceptives.Keyword: Communication, Information, Education, Family Planning
