Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many problems that must be faced by everyone, many sectors are affected by this pandemic, as well as the education sector. This study aims to describe the level of resilience of elementary school teachers during a pandemic, resilience can be said as the ability to survive and the ability to rise from adversity. The approach in this research is quantitative with quantitative descriptive analysis. The research subjects were elementary school teachers in Jepara district. The results of this study indicate that the majority of elementary school teachers in Jepara district have a fairly high level of resilience, 80% of teachers are able to survive and rise from adversity. There are five aspects of resilience, namely purpose, perseverance, equity, self-reliance and existential aloneness. The majority of elementary school teachers in Jepara have the highest level of exential aloneless from all aspects of 6.2309.Keyword: Resilience, Elementary School Teacher, Post Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

Hyperactive students are a challenge for teachers in learning because they can interfere with the learning process. Teachers can choose the right learning model and learning method so that learning can run well. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) model assisted by the Self Instruction method in dealing with hyperactive students. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study approach using descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, questionnaires and interviews. The research subjects were 1st grade students totaling 2 children out of 29 students. The results of this study indicate that the use of the CTL learning model assisted by the self-instruction method creates a more effective atmosphere in learning. It is proven that during learning, an interactive classroom atmosphere is created conducive to the teacher's efforts in explaining the material to all students. The use of instruction through positive affirmation sentences is able to encourage students to consider their own decisions regarding the behavior they do.

Abstract

Sex education is important in the world of education because of the rise in cases of sexual harassment due to the lack of understanding of sex education from an early age. The partner school, namely KB Mentari Kudus, has a problem with the behavior of early childhood jokes that lead to pornographic words as well as verbal bullying and actions. In addition, teachers also have not presented digital learning media in the learning process. The mentoring activity for making audio visual based flashcard media as a solution offered to partners has the aim of increasing students' understanding of sex education. Teachers are expected to be able to increase creativity in providing learning media, especially related to sex education. The method used in this service includes 5 stages namely socialization, training, application of technology, mentoring, and sustainability. Community service activities get the result that partners feel able to develop competence in making innovative learning media for early childhood. Sex education is important to be taught to early childhood where 93.75% of partners strongly agree with this statement. Media needs are also approved by partners with 81.25% and are also supported by the importance of innovation in learning. Partners are also very helpful in making audio visual based flashcard media. The implementation carried out by partners and the service team obtained 93.75% results audio visual flashcard media is suitable for sex education material for early childhood.

Abstract

Matematika mempunyai peranan penting dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu dalam mengembangkan daya pikir manusia. Oleh karena itu, pelajaran matematika perlu diberikan kepada peserta didik di setiap jenjang sekolah, baik tingkat Sekolah Dasar, menengah maupun perguruan tinggi. Matematika diberikan untuk membekali peserta didik kemampuan berpikir logis, analitis, sistematis, kritis dan kreatif, serta kemampuan bekerja sama. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja problematika pembelajaran matematika pada materi perkalian di kelas II SDN 03 Menganti serta untuk mengetahui upaya apa yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi problematika tersebut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan problematika pembelajaran Matematika di SDN 3 Menganti yaitu terdapat beberapa peserta didik kelas yang merasa kesulitan dalam belajar dan menyelesaikan tugas Matematika materi perkalian. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru adalah melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan kesukaan peserta didiknya, serta melakukan komunikasi dengan orang tua peserta didik secara langsung untuk memberitahukan bagaimana perkembangan anaknya di sekolah dan meminta mereka untuk ikut berkontribusi dalam mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki anak.

Abstract

The existence of a lot of diversity in elementary schools makes it important to instill non-discrimination, mutual respect and tolerance in students so that inclusiveness can be realized. This research aims to develop an additive-based multicultural education module as teaching material for global diversity character education and noble character for elementary school students. This research method is development research by adopting the Plomp stage which includes the initial investigation, planning (design), and realization stages, test stages, evaluation and revision. Data analysis includes 3 stages, namely data condensation, data presentation, conclusion drawing /verification). The eligibility data of the e module was obtained from expert validation and teacher response questionnaires. The outcome of this research is the creation of a digital teaching material that can effectively teach diversity from a global perspective. The e-module will be enriched with images, videos, audios, and interactive elements to enable students to gain a profound understanding of diverse cultures. By utilizing this module, students' awareness of cultural diversity will be heightened, and it will promote an inclusive attitude. Students will learn to value cultural differences and respect diverse values. The e-module will provide students with opportunities to interact with multicultural content, share their viewpoints, and communicate with students from different cultures through an online platform.

Abstract

Penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang tepat dalam suatu pembelajaran diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode Montessori dalam membentuk karakter kemandirian pada siswa kelas III C SD Negeri 4 Panggang Jepara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan ialah analisis antar peristiwa (crossite analysis). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Montessori tidak dapat membentuk karakter kemandirian siswa.

Abstract

The optimal development of children with special needs in inclusive elementary schools has not been fully realized despite existing interventions. This research aims to depict the development of a supplementary book focusing on life skills, based on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), tailored for children with special needs in inclusive elementary schools. This study adopts the Plomp model with four phases: initial investigation, design, realization, and test, evaluation, revision. The research findings indicate that the developed supplement book for life skills based on STEAM is highly suitable for use. Expert validation scores reached 90 and 97, categorizing them as very valid. The accompanying teacher's response scored 90, falling into the very good category. In the mentoring practice trial, scores were obtained for dyslexia (88), intellectual disability (86), Down syndrome (80), and Asperger's syndrome (78). Consequently, it can be concluded that this STEAM-based life skills mentoring book is highly suitable as an intervention guide for children with special needs, enabling them to enhance their life skills to the fullest extent.
