Abstract

The low learning motivation of students is a classic problem that often occurs in the teaching and learning process and has an impact on learning outcomes. One way that can be used by teachers in solving motivational problems and student learning outcomes is by applying innovative learning media such as e-modules combined with guided inquiry learning models. This study aims to determine differences in learning motivation, differences in increasing learning outcomes and the relationship between motivation and student learning outcomes through the application of e-modules combined with guided inquiry on the material structure and function of plant tissue. This research is quantitative with experimental research methods and research design Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. The population in this study were 214 students from class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Darul Imarah and SMAN 1 Peukan Bada Aceh Besar. The research sample consisted of 121 students who were divided into two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. The parameters of this study are the motivation and learning outcomes of students. The instrument for measuring motivation used 36 items of the ARCS motivational questionnaire, while learning outcomes were measured using 40 multiple choice tests. The increase in learning outcomes is calculated by the N-gain formula. Data analysis to see differences in motivation and differences in increasing learning outcomes used Mann Whitney test analysis, while analysis of the relationship between motivation and learning outcomes used Pearson's Product Moment correlation analysis. The results showed that there were differences in students' learning motivation (p <0.05), there were significant differences in increasing learning outcomes (p <0.05), there was a significant relationship between motivation and student learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study is that there are differences in motivation and differences in the increase in student learning outcomes after applying learning using e-modules combined with guided inquiry.

Abstract

Misconceptions are seen as a learning barrier because they hinder students from learning and understanding new concepts. Misconceptions about mastering physics concepts occur in Newton’s Laws. The language that is difficult to understand and errors in writing are some of the causes. To overcome those problems, this study aims to use a comic-based e-module assisted by a flipbook maker to remediate misconceptions about Newton’s Laws. The research method is a pre-experimental design, with one group for prе-tеѕt and pоѕt-tеѕt. A total of 22 samples were selected based on the purposive sampling technique. The data were collected twice during the pretest and post-test using a three-tier multiple-choice diagnostic test consisting of 20 items. The analysis of misconception remediation indicates a decrease in misconceptions from 57.01% to 20.24%, with an N-Gain score of 0.71. This implies a significant reduction of misconceptions before and after treatment. This data is also supported by the results of the Wilcoxon test analysis, that is, 0.000<0.5, which means that the use of comic-based e-module significantly affects the remediation of students’ misconceptions of Newton’s Law material. This e-module is expected to be an alternative for teachers in remediating misconceptions in learning physics.

Abstract

The excretory system material requires visualization to enhance understanding. To help students grasp the concepts of the excretory system more effectively, the various organs of the excretory system must be illustrated in the learning material. Therefore, learning animations are needed that can display images created with augmented reality media, appearing almost lifelike in 3D form. This study aims to analyze the application of augmented reality animation media in improving learning outcomes and the difference in students' interest before and after learning about the excretory system with augmented reality animations. The method used is a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consists of 54 students from SMA Negeri 1 Ingin Jaya Aceh Besar, selected using random sampling techniques. Data were collected through multiple-choice tests and a questionnaire on students' interest in the excretory system material. The data were analyzed using a t-test, showing a significant difference in learning outcomes in the experimental class with a p-value < 0.05 (0.022 < 0.05), and a significant difference in students' interest before and after the learning process in the experimental class with a t-test result of p < 0.05 (0.037 < 0.05). It can be concluded that the application of augmented reality media can enhance learning outcomes and affect students' interest in the excretory system material.

Abstract

The ability to apply TPACK will make it easier for teachers to teach material to students. One of the factors that influences TPACK in teachers is conation. If a teacher has a connection, TPACK can run well. This research aims to determine the relationship between TPACK and the certification of Biology teachers at State High Schools in Banda Aceh. The approach used in this research is to use a quantitative approach while the type of research is correlational research. The subjects used in this research were all Biology teachers who had been certified at the high school level in Banda Aceh. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data was obtained from interviews and observations, while quantitative data was obtained from questionnaires filled in by respondents and then data analysis was carried out using SPSS. The results of the research show that the calculated rvalue for the relationship between TPACK and conation is 0.538 > rtable 0.316, so it can be concluded that there is a medium category relationship between the TPACK variable and the conation variable. Because the calculated r in this analysis is positive, it means that the relationship between the two variables is positive.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the types of individual, family, and social environmental factors influencing methamphetamine abuse in Aceh society. Additionally, it analyzes the effects of individual, family, and social environmental factors on methamphetamine abuse in Aceh society. The sampling technique used in this study employed a saturation or census sampling method. Census technique is a sampling method where all members of the population are used as samples due to the relatively small population size. Therefore, the sample size in this study was 36 individuals, all of whom were patients undergoing rehabilitation at the National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) Aceh. Data were collected using questionnaires. To test the influence of individual, family, and social environmental factors on methamphetamine abuse, a multiple nonlinear regression analysis model was applied. The results showed that the majority of individuals' factors were in the agree category (38.9%), family factors in the agree category (47.2%), and social environmental factors in the agree category (38.9%). The analysis results indicated a significant relationship (Sig=0.07) between the individual factor variables and methamphetamine abuse, a significant relationship (Sig=0.042) between the family factor variables and methamphetamine abuse, and a significant relationship (Sig=0.035) between the social environmental factor variables and methamphetamine abuse in Aceh society.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors influencing Indonesian natural rubber exports to the United States. This research was conducted in March-May 2024. This quantitative research uses the 2 SLS (Two Stage Least Square) method with a simultaneous equation model. The data used is secondary data obtained from Trademap, the World Bank, and the Directorate General of Indonesian Plantations over 20 years (2001-2022). The results of the research show that in the equation for Indonesian natural rubber exports to the United States, the variables that have a significant influence are the variables namely Indonesian rubber prices, United States rubber prices, Indonesian rubber production, rubber production from competing countries, United States gross domestic product, export quota limitation policies, and United States inflation simultaneously has a significant influence on the variable of Indonesian rubber exports to the United States. In the Indonesian rubber price equation, the variables of world rubber prices, Indonesian rubber production, rubber prices of competing countries, demand for Indonesian rubber, total Indonesian exports, and export quota limitation policies simultaneously significantly affect the Indonesian rubber price variable. In the United States rubber price equation, world rubber prices, United States rubber substitute prices, and Indonesian rubber demand simultaneously significantly affect the United States rubber price variable.
