Abstract

Salah satu bentuk instrumen penelitian yang umumnya digunakan dalam penelitian survei adalah kuesioner. Kuesioner yang baru disusun harus melalui pengembangan untuk menentukan validitas dan reliabilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kuesioner yang layak digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa respons mahasiswa tentang monografi dan pemanfaatannya sebagai sumber belajar. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif  dengan 5 tahap utama yaitu perumusan latar belakang, konseptualisasi, format dan analisis, penentuan validitas dan  penentuan reliabilitas. Validitas ditentukan berdasarkan validitas konten yang diperoleh dari penilaian pakar, serta uji korelasi Pearson dengan data yang diperoleh dari 84 responden, sedangkan reliabilitas ditentukan berdasarkan skor alfa Cronbach. Kuesioner yang dikembangkan bersifat tertutup, yang terbagi menjadi empat aspek yaitu konten monografi, organisasi penulisan monografi, karakteristik monografi dan monografi sebagai sumber belajar. Format pengukuran menggunakan skala Likert, 1- 4, 1 (tidak setuju), 2 (kurang setuju), 3 (setuju), dan 4 (sangat setuju). Hasil uji korelasi Pearson mengindikasikan bahwa semua butir pernyataan valid, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,01), sedangkan reliabilitas termasuk excellent dengan koefisien alfa Cronbach sebesar 0,962. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, 21 pernyataan dinyatakan valid dan sangat reliabel, dengan rincian 3 untuk aspek konten, 7 untuk aspek organisasi penulisan, 4 untuk aspek karakteristik dan 7 untuk aspek sumber belajar. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan kuesioner dengan kategori layak sebagai instrumen penelitian untuk mengakses respons mahasiswa tentang monografi dan pemanfaatannya sebagai sumber belajar.

Abstract

Filicinae is a fern with the most species members. The Filicinae includes approximately 170 genera and 7000 species. Filicinae grows in wet, humid, and shady environmental conditions, like waterfall areas with an altitude of 1100-1300 meters above sea level (m a s l). The study aimed to determine the taxonomic diversity of the Filicinae in the Tretes Wonosalam Waterfall Tourism area. Taxonomic diversity is very important in tourism areas because it prevents species extinction due to the destruction of the habitat, they live in. This was descriptive research with exploration and observation techniques used purposive sampling methods based on altitude. The results of the study were stated in the form of an inventory list of species and families of each station. Data gained of species diversity were analyzed using taxonomic diversity with the formula (?) and dominance diversity with the formula (?*). Exploration results found 37 species from 12 families composed of 10 species from 7 families at station 1; 12 species from 6 families at station 2; 14 species from 7 families at station 3; and 22 species from 12 families at station 4. The highest taxonomic diversity (?) was station 4 with 106.8 while the lowest for station 1 was 25.63. Dominance diversity (?*) at all stations in this study was in the medium category. The highest family found in the study was Tectariaceae with six species.

Abstract

Ferns are significantly dominant in Indonesia. The waterfall area is one of the ferns habitats. This study aims to determine the diversity index of ferns species in the Tourism Area of Sekar Pudak Sari Waterfall Wonosalam District, Jombang Regency, East Java. This research was exploratory, descriptive. Data collection uses a single plot measuring 20x20 m at 500 masl, 700 masl, and 900 masl. Each observation plot has a sub-plot with a size of 2x2 m. Data analysis used the Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H'), the taxonomic diversity index (?), and dominance (?*). The exploration results found 28 species from 11 families, 6 epiphytes, and the rest terrestrial. The taxonomic diversity index in plot 1 was 23.36 (low category), while plots 2 and 3 were 30.58 and 31.66 (medium category). This shows that the environment in the three plots is classified as stable, as indicated by the presence of ferns at various taxonomic levels. The highest dominance diversity index (?*) was 2.8 in Plot 2, while Plots 1 and 3 were 2.7 (low category). The total number of individual ferns found influenced the difference in the diversity index. The ferns found in the three plots were relatively few, indicating that the environment was classified as less stable. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H') in the three plots was 2.9 (medium category), indicating that the distribution pattern of ferns in the environment was balanced. The Sekar Pudak Sari Waterfall Tourism Area is a suitable habitat for the growth of ferns, so conservation efforts need to be made to maintain a balance of species and stabilize the ecosystem.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Collaboration and Critical Thinking skills are included in the 4C skills demands in the 21st century. Collaboration skills are the ability to work effectively, appreciate diversity in a team, demonstrate flexibility, contribute to achieving common goals while critical thinking skills are the ability to analyze information, evaluate arguments, and make decisions. The purpose of this study was to describe collaboration skills, analyze students' critical thinking skills, and describe students' responses after carrying out learning activities. This study includes quantitative descriptive research with a One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. The research sample was 2 repetition classes, each with 25 students in grade X of SMA Kartika IV-3 Surabaya. The research was conducted in January - February 2025. The research instruments were observation sheets, test questions, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using simple statistics in the form of averages and percentages. The correlation between the ecosystem LKPD based on the collaborative learning model and students' critical thinking skills used the Pearson correlation test. The results showed that the average gain-score in the high category was 1 and had a positive correlation of 0.737. The average collaborative skills of students showed level 4 with a high level and student responses showed a very good category of 97.80%. Thus, it can be concluded that the ecosystem LKPD based on the collaborative learning model is effective for the collaboration and critical thinking skills of class X SMA students. Keterampilan kolaborasi merupakan kemampuan untuk bekerja secara efektif, menghargai keragaman dalam tim, menunjukkan fleksibilitas, berkontribusi demi mencapai tujuan bersama sedangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis merupakan kemampuan untuk menganalisis informasi, mengevaluasi argumen, dan mengambil keputusan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan keterampilan kolaborasi, menganalisis keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik, dan mendeskripsikan respons peserta didik setelah melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. Sampel penelitian yaitu 2 kelas pengulangan masing-masing 25 peserta didik kelas X SMA Kartika IV-3 Surabaya. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari – Februari 2025. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi, soal tes, dan angket. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik sederhana berupa rata-rata dan persentase. Korelasi antara LKPD ekosistem berbasis model collaborative learning dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata gain-score dalam kategori tinggi sebesar 1 dan berkorelasi positif sebesar 0,737. Rata-rata keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik menunjukkan level 4 dengan tingkat tinggi dan respons peserta didik menunjukkan kategori sangat baik sebesar 97,80%. Dengan demikian, menyimpulkan bahwa LKPD ekosistem berbasis model collaborative learning efektif terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi dan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas X SMA. Abstract

Critical thinking skills is a crucial competency for the 21st century and is essential for students. The scientific approach can be applied in the teaching and learning process to train students' critical thinking skills through electronic-based teaching materials. This research aims to create an e-worksheet on the diversity of ferns using a scientific approach to train critical thinking skills that are valid, practical, and effective. The research method is applying the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The e-worksheet product was tested on a limited basis with 20 students from class X-1 at MAN 2 Gresik. Research parameters in developing the E-worksheet include the validity based on expert assessments, the practicality based on its implementation, and the effectiveness based on the achievement of critical thinking skills and student responses. Research instruments include validation assessment instruments, implementation observation sheets, critical thinking assessments, and student response questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and quantitatively. The analysis results indicate that the E-worksheet’s validity is 3.97 (very valid), its practicality is 97.29% (very good), and its effectiveness in terms of the achievement of critical thinking skills, indicators of interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and explanation respectively worth 85%, 85%, 100%, and 100% (very good), as well as positive responses from students worth 98.82% (very good). Thus, this E-worksheet is declared valid, practical, and effective, so it is suitable to be applied to train students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Raden Soerjo Grand Forest Park is a conservation area in East Java with moderate tree diversity. This study analyzed the diversity, composition, and structure of trees in three vegetation types: open forest, closed forest, and post-fire forest. Data collection used a systematic sampling method with random start. Data in the form of tree species names and numbers of individuals were analyzed to determine the ecological index and Canonical Correspondence Analysis (CCA). A total of 25 species from 21 families were identified, with Fagaceae and Lauraceae dominating in open and closed forests, and Casuarinaceae in post-fire forest. Lithocarpus sundaicus showed the highest Importance Value Index in open and closed forests, while Casuarina junghuhniana dominated the post-fire forest. Pioneer species such as Homalanthus populneus, Ficus hispida, and C. junghuhniana were present in all vegetation types. The diversity index showed moderate diversity (1.79 and 2.09), low species richness (2.22 and 3.45), and high evenness (0.69 and 0.71) in open and closed forests. Tree distribution is dominated by the 61–80 cm diameter class in open and closed forests, and 41–60 cm in post-fire forests. CCA showed that light intensity, soil moisture, air temperature, and soil pH influence species distribution. Four species are endemic to Indonesia, with three species of conservation concern: Lithocarpus korthalsii and Canthiumera glabra (near threatened), and Saurauia bracteosa (vulnerable).

Abstract

Abstrak Berpikir kritis merupakan kompetensi pendidikan berkualitas Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) yang perlu dikuasai. Keterampilan tersebut dapat dilatihkan kepada peserta didik melalui pendekatan saintifik. Oleh sebab itu, dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan menciptakan bahan ajar yang layak berupa e-book berbasis pendekatan saintifik untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi transpor membran. E-book dikembangkan menurut model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Parameter penelitian berupa penilaian validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas. Validitas berdasarkan pada penilaian ahli; kepraktisan berdasarkan keterbacaan dan respons peserta didik; dan efektivitas berdasarkan tes. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi, uji keterbacaan, angket, dan tes. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan statistik sederhana berupa rata-rata dan persentase. Penilaian ahli menunjukkan validitas e-book sebesar 98% dengan kategori sangat valid. Uji keterbacaan berada pada level 10 dengan kategori praktis. Respons peserta didik sangat positif dengan persentase 96%. Ketercapaian indikator berpikir kritis sebesar 89% dengan kategori sangat baik dan nilai n-gain sebesar 0,77 dengan kategori tinggi. E-book transpor membran berbasis pendekatan saintifik dinyatakan layak sebagai bahan ajar Biologi kelas XI SMA ditinjau dari validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas. Therefore, research was carried out to produce appropriate teaching materials in the form of e-books based on a scientific approach to train critical thinking skills on membrane transport material. The e-book was developed according to the ADDIE model which includes the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research parameters were in the form of an assessment of validity, practicality and effectiveness. Validity based on expert validation; practicality based on readability and student responses; and effectiveness based on tests. Research instruments include validation sheets, readability tests, questionnaires and tests. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively using simple statistics in the form of averages and percentages. Expert assessment showed that the validity of the e-book is 98% in the very valid category. The readability test was at level 10 with the practical category. Student responses were very positive with a percentage of 96%. The achievement of critical thinking indicators was 89% in the very good category and the n-gain value was 0.77 in the high category. The membrane transport e-book based on a scientific approach was is declared suitable as a Biology teaching material for class XI SMA in terms of validity, practicality and effectiveness. Abstract

Tingginya penggunaan gawai yang mengakibatkan menurunnya karakter disiplin dan fokus belajar siswa Padahal gawai sebenarnya dapat menjadi alat pendukung pembelajaran jika digunakan secara bijaksana. Oleh karena itu, perlunya menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan humanis dengan strategi Assertive Discipline yang sesuai dalam pembelajaran di era revolusi industri 5.0. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektivitas strategi Assertive Discipline dalam meningkatkan disiplin dan fokus belajar siswa dengan bijaksana menggunakan gawai pada pembelajaran Biologi di SMA Negeri Jogoroto. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif melalui penyebaran angket respons siswa kepada 60 peserta didik kelas XII yang telah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan penerapan strategi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan respons sangat positif dengan skor rata-rata 4,61 dengan kategori sangat positif. Sebanyak 96,7% siswa menjadi lebih disiplin dengan kategori sangat positif, 96,7% lebih mudah focus dengan kategori sangat positif, dan terciptanya lingkungan belajar kondusif bagi 96,7% siswa dengan kategori sangat positif. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah Assertive Discipline efektif meningkatkan kedisiplinan dan fokus siswa serta direkomendasikan untuk mengatasi tantangan pembelajaran di era digital..
