Abstract

Stress-strain relationship is the main parameter to identify the strength, ductility and behavior of the structure. Various constitutive models were created in order to simplify the analytical approach of concrete behavior. In this paper, the behavior of reinforced concrete column is modeled using Attard and Setunge’s (1996) and Mander’s (1988) stress-strain constitutive model. The appropriate model for reinforced concrete column was determined based on the existing experimental data. Two-dimensional simulation of reinforced concrete column using fiber-based cross-sectional analysis in MATLAB is sighted. And the performance of the reinforced concrete column from the experimental data is compared with the analysis result from the simulation. There are two comparation methods used in this research. The first method is to compare the linear regression with the reference line. The smallest degree between the linear regression and the referrence line is expected. The second method is to compare the Root Mean Square Defiation (RMSD) value. The smallest RMSD value is expected to get the most suitable constitutive model compared to the experimental data. From the computational process, it was found that Mander’s Constitutive model is preferaed to be used in further analysis problem concerning reinforced concrete column

Abstract

The Trosobo-Kletek Highway is one of the roads that has a high level of vehicle density so that it appears that it has experienced traffic jams several times. This is also coupled with the presence of side barriers such as vehicles in and out. So that the Trosobo-Kletek Highway section often experiences traffic jams that occur not only at certain hours, because on this road section there are many factory areas. The important role of this road resulted in a decrease in the level of service. Based on this, it is necessary to monitor the quality of a road segment based on the level of service. In this study, the PKJI 2014 was used to calculate the road performance. As for some of the data needed such as traffic volume, road geometry, and vehicle speed. The analysis carried out is the calculation of Road capacity, peak hour volume, degree saturation, free flow speed, and level of service index. The results of the research conducted during the four days of the survey and the calculations that have been carried out is level of service in the direction of Surabaya-Mojokerto is E and the direction of Mojokerto-Surabaya is F.

Abstract

Balok beton bertulangan tunggal diatas dua tumpuan akan dianalisa untuk mendapatkan metode desain balok yang cepat, praktis, dan ekonomis. Cara baru dalam mendesain balok bertulang yaitu dengan bantuan grafik akan ditampilkan dalam makalah ini. Parameter yang harus diketahui pada saat menggunakan metode grafis adalah perlu adanya data mengenai panjang bentang jembatan (L), besarnya beban ultimit terbagi rata yang direncanakan dalam desain (qu), mutu beton (f’c) dan mutu baja tulangan (fy). Sedangkan parameter yang dihasilkan diantaranya adalah dimensi penampang (B dan H), dan rasio tulangan (ρ) yang dapat dikonversi kedalam diameter dan jumlah tulangan yang dibutuhkan. Hasil dari dimensi balok dan rasio tulangan yang didapat dari metode desain ini akan divalidasi dengan perhitungan secara matematis berdasarkan kepada Tata Cara Perhitungan Struktur Beton, SNI 03-2847-2019. Desain balok beton bertulangan tunggal diatas dua tumpuan dengan metode grafis menghasilkan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi.

Abstract

The past oil and natural gas drilling activities have been presumed to cause a Mud Volcano phenomenon. The Mud Volcano potentially danger its surroundings, including the inhabitants. Thus, mapping the zone will be essential to have a mitigation plan. One of the potential Mud Volcanoes is the Gunung Anyar Mud Volcano. By using a resistivity survey, this research aims to obtain the subsurface structure of the Gunung Anyar Mud Volcano. The results show that very low resistivity values are located at the top of the soil structure with 0 to 4 meters depth. This soil structure is believed to be a manifestation of a mud volcano in the form of moistened clay associated with salt water. At subsequent depths, 4 to 5.5 meters from the top, is a layer of sandy clay. It is characterized by moderate to high resistivity values. At a depth of 5.5 to 10.5 meters, the resistivity value is very high. This sandstone layer is most likely a native subsoil formation in the Gunung Anyar area.

Abstract

A quick and practical method of designing a single-layer reinforced concrete beam will be analyzed. This article provides a new simple formulation to design simple beam-reinforced concrete. The dimension and reinforcement ratio can be generated by using the formulation. The variables that must be known at using the formulation are the concrete strength (f`c), the ultimate uniform load (qu), the yield strength of steel (fy), and the span length of the simple beam (L). There are two main parameters obtained from the formulation including the cross-sectional dimensions (W and H) and reinforcement ratios (?). Moreover, the required diameter and amount of steel reinforcement can be converted from the result. The beam dimensions and reinforcement ratio results obtained from this design method are verified by mathematical calculations based on the SNI 03-2847-2019. Designing a single-layer reinforced concrete beam using the simple formulation method provides high precision.

Abstract

A prestressed bridge is an alternative way of structural design because of the ease of procurement and installation. For long-span bridges, prestressed beams only require minimum cross-sectional dimensions along with reliable performance. A prestressed concrete beam is always made in several segments to facilitate delivery. It is necessary to analyse and control the stress that occurs due to the external load and the loss of prestress. This study aims to provide a detailed stress analysis of PCI-girder precast concrete segmental bridges, considering the provisions and guidelines specified in SNI 1725:2016. Four stages of construction will be controlled. Namely at the transfer stage, the after-loss of the prestressed stage, the composite beam stage, and the service stage. The tensile and compressive stress analyses will be carried out on the upper side of the bridge surface, the upper side of the girder, and the bottom. If tensile stress occurs, it indicates that the girder is not capable of withstanding the applied load, and additional anchorages need to be installed at each joint between segments. The result obtained from the stress analysis conducted in this study is that no tensile stress is found in any critical sections of the girder. The stress that occurs has fulfilled the design capacity, without any tensile stress occurring in the bridge.

Abstract

This preliminary study aims to determine the daily profile of the power output generated from solar panels, with variations in the house’s roof angles of 15º, 0º, 15º. Tilt angle investigation expects to discover the impact of placing solar panels on the slope of the tile used on the house’s roof. The collecting data of this study was investigated the data of current and voltage every hour that produced by solar panel. Besides, this study also comparing the result of total energy output value for daily profile of solar panel during ten hour per day (start from 7 am to 5 pm). The results show that solar panels with an angle of -15º at 07:00 – 10:00 WIB have higher output voltage and current than other angle variations. At a tilt angle of 0º, the output voltage and current of the solar panel are higher at 11:00-14:00 WIB, while at a tilt angle of 15º in the afternoon. Based on observations, each solar panel with exposure for 10 hours obtained the total energy value for polycrystalline solar panels with a tilt angle of -15º of 258.44 Wh, solar panels with an angle of 0º obtained an energy value of 263.64 Wh, and a tilt angle of 15º obtained energy values 260.69 Wh. The photonic energy emitted for 10 hours is 2097.47 Wh. The energy efficiency value for each polycrystalline solar panel is 12.32% for the angle of -15º, the angle of 0º is 12.57%, and 12.43% for the angle of 15º. In conclusion, variations in the angle of the solar panels have significant effect on the voltage, current, and energy generated from polycrystalline solar panels in every hour. However, based on the data result the total energy exposure and the efficiency value for each variation angle has no significant different. Pyramid-shaped house roof construction has the advantage of increasing the value of the cross-sectional area of the tile, which has the opportunity to install wider-sized solar panels so that a greater value of electrical energy is obtained.

Abstract

Abstrak Guru professional di abad 21 ini dituntut untuk memiliki empat kompetensi yaitu kompetensi pedagogi, professional, kepribadian dan sosial. Kompetensi pedagogi guru berkaitan dengan proses belajar mengajar seperti memdesain perangkat pembelajaran dengan media berbasis IT dan implementasi model pembelajaran inovatif. Pembelajaran gamifikasi merupakan salah satu metode yang mengintegrasikan teknik game dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan yaitu FGD, workshop dan pendampingan serta evaluasi dan refleksi. Kegiatan PkM yang dilakukan di SMP ‘Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang diikuti oleh semua guru yang ada di sekolah yang berjumlah 13 orang. Kegiatan pelatihan gamifikasi terdiri dari tiga yaitu pelatihan aplikasi wordwall, quizzis dan Kahoot! Kata kunci: gamifikasi; guru; kompetensi pedagogi. Abstract Professional teachers in the 21st century are required to have four competencies, namely pedagogical, professional, personality and social competencies. Teacher pedagogical competence is related to the teaching and learning process such as designing learning tools with IT-based media and implementing innovative learning models. Gamification learning is a method that integrates game techniques in the learning process. The methods used are FGD, workshops and mentoring as well as evaluation and reflection. The PkM activities carried out at SMP 'Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang were attended by all 13 teachers at the school. Gamification training activities consist of three, namely wordwall application training, quizzis and Kahoot! Keywords: gamification; teacher; pedagogy competencies.

Abstract

The development of methods / systems in the field of construction every year is increasing, so that in planning a construction building can choose the most economical, effective, and efficient method to be applied. One of them is the casting implementation method which can be done by conventional method (cast in situ) and precast method (precast). In this study, the object reviewed is the Kasih Ibu Surakarta Hospital Construction Project, where the method of carrying out floor slab casting work uses the cast in situ method which will later be carried out a comparative analysis between the cast in situ method and the half slab precast method in terms of time and cost. This study uses data in the form of shop drawing, RAB, AHSP, and data on the number of workers to be the basis for analysis between the two methods. The results of the comparative analysis of the cast in situ method and the half slab precast method in terms of time and cost obtained results for the cast in situ method plate takes 129.26 days at a cost of IDR 11,200,040,000 while for the half slab precast method plate takes 108.89 days for IDR 2,375,860,000

Abstract

Desa Kedamean Gresik adalah salah satu desa yang terletak di Kabupaten Gresik, Jawa Timur. Desa ini dikenal sebagai desa yang produktif dalam sektor pertanian, namun dengan lahan yang terbatas. Kondisi ini membuat para petani di desa Kedamean harus kreatif dalam memanfaatkan lahan sempit yang tersedia. Untuk membantu masyarakat desa dalam mengatasi masalah ini, Program Studi Teknik Sipil Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Veteran Jawa Timur menyelenggarakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa penyuluhan dan pelatihan tentang bercocok tanam dengan metode hidroponik. Metode hidroponik vertikultur merupakan salah satu cara bercocok tanam tanpa tanah yang sangat cocok untuk lahan sempit. Dalam metode ini, tanaman ditanam secara vertikal dengan menggunakan media seperti potongan pipa PVC atau botol bekas. Tanaman diletakkan di dalam pipa PVC atau botol bekas dan diberi nutrisi melalui air yang mengalir pada sistem hidroponik. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diikuti oleh sekitar 40 peserta dari masyarakat sekitar balai desa Kedamean Gresik yang didominasi oleh ibu-ibu yang berprofesi sebagai petani. Kegiatan pelatihan dan workshop ini juga diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat desa Kedamean Gresik dalam meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Selain itu, melalui kegiatan ini juga diharapkan adanya kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan dan memanfaatkan sumber daya alam secara bijak. Kedepannya, Prodi Teknik Sipil UPN Veteran Jawa Timur akan terus melakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat dan lingkungan sekitar.
