Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini diawali dengan adanya permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan didesa lingkungan kasemen yaitu banyaknya kotoran sapi sehingga mencemari lingkungan. Permasalahan seperti itu sangat penting untuk dibahas dalam materi perkuliahan di UPI Kampus Serang terutama pada matakuliah Konsep Dasar Biologi, agar Mahasiswa peka terhadap permasalahan lingkungan dan mempunyai solusi untuk mengatasinya. Selain permasalahan tersebut diatas kebutuhan akan pendidikan kecakapan hidup bagi mahasiswa juga menjadi latar belakang dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : 1) Membuat Model Pembelajaran Biologi Berbasis Lingkungan dengan Pendekatan STM ; 2) Mengembangkan kecakapan hidup bagi mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran Biologi Berbasis Lingkungan dengan Pendekatan STM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (Penelitian dan Pengembangan terhadap tiga metode yang digunakan Pendekatan STM. Hasil penelitian dapat dikemukakan sebagai berikut : 1). Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Lingkungan dengan Pendekatan STM berhasil dilaksanakan dengan tahap-tahap : a) Invitasi, b) Eksplorasi, c) penjelasan dan Solusi , d) pengambilan tindakan. 2). Kecakapan hidup Mahasiswa yang terdiri dari a. Personil Skill : disiplin dengan X skor 4,18 ; semangat 4,36 ; tanggung jawab 4, pemecahan masalah 3,72 b.Social Skill : kerjasama dengan X skor 4, kecakapan komunikasi 3,64 c. Vocational Skill : mengenal bahan dengan X skor 3,27 ; menggunakan alat dalam bahan pembuatan kompor biogas 3,2 ; mengoperasikan kompor biogas 3,91.) d.academic skill dengan nilai rata-rata X pada pre tes 42,84 dan X pada pos tes 71,62 Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1). Model Pembelajaran Biologi Berbasis Lingkungan dengan Pendekatan STM sudah berhasil dilaksanakan dengan cukup optimal. 2). Pembelajaran Biologi Berbasis Lingkungan dengan Pendekatan STM dapat meningkatkan kecakapan hidup Mahasiswa dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, baik dan cukup.Kata kunci : Kompor Biogas, Pembelajaran Berbasis Lingkungan Hidup, Kecakapan Hidup

Abstract

Based on the result of observations made by researchers that during online learning, there are several obstacles in the process, such as the difficulties faced by teachers in delivering learning materials to students, especially in science learning which contained student interactions with their environment. Online learning causes students to have less learning experience, because of the limitations of teachers in providing learning, so that teachers only use worksheets as learning resources and media for students to do assignments in the form of questions that have been provided. For this reason, researchers tried to apply an online Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) model with natural science material on the effect of solar energy on plants in theme 2 sub-theme 1. The research method used in this study is a native inquiry which will later become a narrative that contains data on the findings obtained by the researcher. The subject of this research is a study group 2 of IV grade students at SDN Banjarwangi 01 totaling 11 students. The instruments used are interviews, observations, transcripts of recordings, and field notes. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) model allows it to be applied to science learning as an effort to make students continue to have their learning experiences in this online learning period and students can construct what they find. so that it makes students understand more about the material being studied, not only relying on working on worksheets. In addition, applying CTL during online learning can make students more active and increase students' enthusiasm for learning

Abstract

Confidence is the most important thing that every primary school student has because a confident student will easily determine their future such as goals, goals, and achievements. A confident person who dares to make decisions dare to speak or argue can face any situation. And is confident in himself. Meanwhile, students who are not confident will experience a lack such as being left behind in terms of learning activities in school. Learning methods or media have a very important role in the learning process, in addition to achieving the purpose of media learning is also a thing that can attract the attention and desire of students in learning and can motivate students. This study aims to find out the factors that cause elementary school students to be confident and not confident and how confident students are through the use of learning media ludo fauna. The approach used in this study is a qualitative research approach with a narrative inquiry method. This research uses data collection techniques, namely observation, interview, documentation, field note, and storytelling. As well as instruments used in the form of recording and interview tools. The results of this study are factors that can cause students confidence that is a pleasant and comfortable class. Then what causes students not confidence is fear of wrong, in the attention of friends, forward class, and appointed teachers. Through the use of learning media ludo fauna has seen an increase in confidence as students have dared to issue their opinions and ask if there are things that do not understand. Not only that, but students also look very enthusiastic, happy, and excited.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic is turning the originally face-to-face education system into online learning. Online learning is one form of educational innovation that answers the challenges of the availability of varied learning resources and adaptation of learning activities to achieve academic goals. Therefore, during the pandemic, online learning is necessary for learning to continue at the elementary school level. The purpose of this study is to know the planning, implementation, and evaluation of online learning activities on materials of the nature and changes of the shape of objects in 5th grade of SDN Kedaleman IV Cilegon in the 2020/2021 school year. This study uses a qualitative approach and case study method. The subjects of this study were four students and four parents in 5th grade of SDN Kedaleman IV Cilegon participated in online learning activities. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, non-participant observations, and documentation. This study's data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that online learning in 5th grade of SDN Kedaleman IV Cilegon has the following stages: Planning stages such as determining the application used, creating WhatsApp groups, preparing learning materials, tools, and supporting materials in online learning, choosing learning methods and media. The implementation stage involves preliminary, core, and closing activities by using facilities in supporting online learning activities, namely virtual face-to-face and LMS. The evaluation phase consists of an evaluation of tests (assessment of knowledge with an assignment of questions and assessment of skills with practical tasks) and evaluation of online learning implementation programs (advantages and disadvantages and constraints and solutions)

Abstract

Cleanliness of the environment is very important in life on this earth, we as living things, especially humans who have reason and mind, must be able to take good care of the surrounding environment. Because the living things that live on this earth influence each other. if we can take good care of nature or the environment, it will create a good, clean environment that makes humans or animals comfortable, and vice versa if we destroy nature or the surrounding environment, we will feel the bad effects. This research aims to form environmental awareness in order to protect the surrounding environment properly. Learning that can be practiced directly one of them is science subjects, as well as material that can be taught to students through ecosystem materials. Because in this ecosystem material it is explained that every living thing needs and influences one another. This study uses the narrative inquiry method which in the delivery is in the form of a narrative or story to make it easier for the reader to understand it. The results of the research obtained by the researcher were increasing environmental awareness in students, the application of environmental care activities, and students knowing the forms of interaction between living things with one another. Researchers who act as teachers, in the process of learning many things from students to form environmental awareness, are very interesting things to research. Also, the most important thing is that a teacher and parent must be able to collaborate well in the child's learning process.

Abstract

Researchers conducted an investigation into the learning dilemmas that occurred during the pandemic. Learning is conducted online using mobile phones, resulting in the lack of students' responsiveness and a long assignments collection time. In addition, it also makes students passive and less interactive due to the lack of teachers' creativity in utilizing learning media as teachers only use the Whatsapp platform. The learning activities which are limited to sharing or instructing students to read modules or worksheets (LKS) and at the end giving the task collected at a certain time triggers boredom in learning. This research discusses narrative inquiry which the results later form a narrative about the experience and findings obtained by researchers. This research focused on the field of science in grade 4 Theme 1 sub-theme 1 cares about living things. 24 students from grade 4 of SD Negeri Songgom Jaya were the subjects of this study. The object of this research is how the learning process online, how students show boredom in online learning, and the form of appreciation that students give to teachers in science learning. Instruments used in the form of interviews, videos, and images. The results of this study show that the implementation of science learning with online practice is very possible. It is even an alternative to overcome students' boredom in online learning. Before conducting the study, the researcher made an observation in advance of students' passion for caring for plants, and planting plants is their favorite as well. With the fulfillment of what they love, they give a form of appreciation not only with gratitude but with an acceptance get from them.

Abstract

Banyak hal dapat terjadi diluar kendali kita sebagai manusia. Permasalahan terkadang membuat manusia melupakan bahwa dirinya adalah manusia biasa yang memiliki batasan-batasan tertentu dan membutuhkan orang lain untuk hidup. Kehidupan penuh dengan tekateki yang membawa manusia kedalam banyak keadaan dan kemungkinan. Tulisan ini akan membawa pembaca masuk kedalam situasi kehidupan di lingkungan sekolah Adiwiyata yang penuh dengan cerita, berdasar pada pengalaman membangun sekolah bersama. Apakah kenyamanan penting untuk dapat dirasakan? Apakah hubungan siswa dan guru membutuhkan rasa saling percaya?. Penulis menggunakan metode Narrative Inquiry untuk memudahkan penulis menjabarkan hasil penelitian dalam bentuk narasi, sehingga pembaca dapat lebih mudah memahami hasil penilitian lewat sebuah cerita. penelitian ini secara khusus membahas tentang sekolah Adiwiyata yang dibangun bersama dengan adanya situasi nyaman dan rasa saling percaya dalam hubungan antara guru dan siswanya.

Abstract

Sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013, guru dituntut untuk memahami karakteristik peserta didik dari berbagai aspek. Konsep Multiple Intelligence (MI) seyogyanya harus menjadi bagian dari pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu, untuk mengembangkan kapasistas guru dalam merancang dan melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis MI perlu dilakukan tindak lanjut berupa workshop. Adapun tujuan dari diselenggarakannya workshop ini adalah melahirkan model pelatihan bagi pengembangan kapasitas guru sekolah dasar melalui workshop pembelajaran berbasis Multiple Intelligences di Kecamatan Serang Kota Serang Banten. Peserta workshop terdiri dari 32 guru-guru SD dari 18 sekolah di Kota Serang. Sebelum dan sesudah workshop dilakukan wawancara untuk mengetahui pemahaman guru tentang konsep MI, perbedaan kecerdasan siswa, dan langkah-langkah yang dilakukan guru dalam merancang RPP dan melaksanakan pembelajaran untuk memfasilitasi berbagai kecerdasan siswa tersebut. Model pelatihan yang dihasilkan terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu : pra workshop, pelaksanaan workshop dan pasca workshop. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara sebelum dan sesudah workshop serta dari hasil pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas guru-guru SD di kota Serang tentang konsep MI dan aplikasinya dalam pembelajaran meningkat secara signifikan.

Abstract

The research that was conducted departed from a learning problem in Natural Sciences for fourth grade students of MI Sirojul Athfal Depok where most of the students scored still below the KKM. In the learning process activities carried out in the classroom the teacher still uses the lecture and question and answer method, so that students are less actively involved in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process in the classroom and improve student learning outcomes by applying the problem based learning model. The research was in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was conducted during the second cycle of the research. Each cycle has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were fourth grade students of MI Sirojul Athfal which consisted of 24 students, 13 male students and 11 female students. Collecting data using test techniques to measure student understanding, observation, documentation, and field notes. The results of the research application of the problem based learning model were obtained in the first cycle as many as 15 students (62.5%) students could achieve the KKM while in the second cycle there was an increase of 21 students (87.5%) students could reach the KKM. In addition to student learning outcomes, the activities of teachers and students also increased as seen from the activity of each observation in each cycle and the learning process carried out in class was much better.

Abstract

Based on the results of a preliminary study in grade 4 of Mendobarat State Elementary School 2. It was found that it was difficult for students to follow the teaching materials in Theme 3 so that there needed to be improvements in the teaching process so as not to cause problems, such as students being less interested in exploring learning, the media used by educators were thematic books whose material was too general. (R&D) is the method chosen to complete this research in order to get good and accountable results products in the world of education, especially at the elementary school. Through the 7 stages used during research according to what was expressed by Gall and Borg, namely starting from the potential and problems, to the product revision stage which of course has been carried out optimally by researchers in order to obtain valid and interesting books for students. The data collected is done using interview techniques, questionnaires, and documentation. The research has a target to elaborate plant teaching materials based on local wisdom of Bangka Belitung in increasing the conservation value of interesting biodiversity for students. Analyze data (preliminary study analysis, student questionnaires data analysis and expert justification questionnaires). Based on the results of making plant textbook based on local wisdom Bangka Belitung grade IV Elementary School, obtained plant textbooks that are interesting for students based on questionnaires that have been made students enjoy using this textbook. Sourced from the results of product trials at UPTD State Elementary School 2 Mendobarat with a percentage of 98,33%. While the textbooks were declared valid based on the result of the material expert’s justification, namely 84%, the verification of media design experts, 86% and the justification of learning practitioners, which was 92%. All the validation results are categorized “very valid”.
