Abstract

The classification of mango fruit ripeness levels is currently predominantly done manually, which unfortunately has several drawbacks. One of the primary shortcomings is the lack of consistency in accuracy, often resulting in differences among operators conducting the sorting. On the other hand, in image classification processes, a combination of the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) methods is utilized. DCT is a technique commonly used in image processing, especially for image pictures. In this research, there is a proposal to merge the Discrete Wavelet Transform method with the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Currently, CNN is one of the methods that provides the most significant results in image recognition. CNN attempts to mimic the image recognition system in the human brain, particularly the visual cortex, allowing it to efficiently process image information. The DCT method is used to transform image data into a frequency image form, which is subsequently employed in feature extraction in the Deep Neural Networks classification method. The research results indicate that the combined method of Discrete Cosine Transform and Convolutional Neural Network achieves the highest accuracy rate of 93.33% in classifying mango fruit ripeness levels. This outcome demonstrates significant potential for automating the mango ripeness classification process with high accuracy, overcoming the inconsistencies associated with manual approaches.

Abstract

The online press media Radar is an online media entity of Radarindo that is signed by the editor-in-chief. The high number of journalists in the Koran Radar Group makes it challenging for the editor-in-chief to select the best journalists, as there lacks a suitable system for this purpose, including an effective system within the Koran Radar Group. Without a clear system, ensuring an objective and fair selection of the best journalists becomes difficult. The selection of the best journalists is crucial to guarantee the quality and accuracy of information delivered to the public. Hence, a system has been created to aid in the assessment process for choosing the best journalists for the Koran Radar Group. This system utilizes the MAUT method and Entropy weighting to evaluate the values of each criterion and rank alternative candidates. It is expected that implementing this decision support system will provide a positive contribution to the process of selecting the best journalists for the company.After conducting the ranking process, the results obtained from the application of the MAUT method and Entropy weighting show that alternative (A2) with the name Sehat Sembiring scored 0.00983, making it the best alternative in the selection of the best journalists for the Koran Radar Group.

Abstract

Penerapan ekowisata yang berkelanjutan harus bermanfaat kepada masyarakat setempat, sambil tetap menjaga kelestarian kualitas lingkungan alam dan budaya yang ada. Namun pada penerapannya masih terdapat banyak kendala. Secara khusus kegiatan ekowisata di Kampung Merabu didapati bahwa penerapan ekowisata belum memiliki standarisasi yang jelas. masalah tersebut menjadi dasar untuk melakukan assestment standar penerapan ekowisata di lokus penelitian ini. Asestment dilakukan berdasarkan buku panduan Standar Perjalanan Produk Ekowisata (SPE) Kalimantan yang dikeluarkan oleh Indonesian Ecotiurism Network (Indecon 2023). Metode pelaksanaan Penelitian ini melakukan assestment penerapan ekowisata di Kampung Merabu berdasarkan indikator yang dikaji dalam SPE adalah (1)Prinsip ramah wisatawan, (2) prinsip ramah masyarakat dan (3) prinsip ramah lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Adanya SPE membawa perubahan yang sangat baik bagi Masyarakat Kampung Merabu, karena dapat mengukur lalu mengoptimalkan produk yang dimilikinya. Selanjutnya Hasil assestment dari penerapan standar ekowisata di Kampung Merabu berada pada posisi “Baik” dimana prinsip penilaian berbasis indikator telah dijalankan dengan baik di destinasi ini, dan hasil dari assetment tersebut telah dilihat pelaksanaan tindak lanjutnya selama lima bulan, dan terdapat perbaikan-perbaikan yang signifikan sehingga pelaksanaan ekowisata di lokus penelitian ini semakin baik.
