Abstract

This longitudinal study investigates the influence of immersive educational counseling within metaverse learning environments on student well-being. As educational institutions increasingly integrate virtual and augmented reality technologies, understanding their effects on students’ mental health and academic performance is essential. The research focuses on a diverse cohort of students who participated in immersive counseling sessions designed to enhance emotional support, social engagement, and academic guidance. Data collection spanned two academic years, utilizing quantitative surveys, qualitative interviews, and performance metrics to assess changes in well-being and academic outcomes.Results reveal that students engaged in metaverse counseling exhibited significant improvements in emotional resilience, motivation, and overall academic performance compared to their peers receiving traditional counseling. Additionally, the immersive nature of the metaverse fostered a sense of community and belonging, which further contributed to enhanced well-being. This study underscores the transformative potential of metaverse environments in educational settings, advocating for the incorporation of innovative technologies to support student mental health and academic success.

Abstract

The traditional learning approaches prevalent in education often emphasize passive knowledge acquisition, leading to limited student engagement and lower academic achievement. Recognizing these challenges, this study investigates the impact of constructivist learning models on enhancing student achievement. The research aims to evaluate whether implementing constructivist strategies significantly influences students’ academic performance compared to conventional instructional methods. Employing a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test control groups, the study involved 120 high school students selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using standardized achievement tests and observational checklists, analyzed quantitatively through descriptive and inferential statistics. Results indicate that students exposed to constructivist learning environments showed significantly higher academic achievements and increased active participation compared to their counterparts experiencing traditional instruction. In conclusion, the constructivist learning model effectively fosters critical thinking, enhances students’ understanding, and improves overall academic performance. These findings suggest educational institutions should consider integrating constructivist approaches to promote deeper learning and greater student success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru MTs. NU 04 Muallimin Weleri di Kabupaten Kendal provinsi Jawa Tengah. Peningkatan kompetensi guru dilakukan melalui Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Pelatihan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilakukan dengan strategi siklus yang dilakukan dengan tahapan dari identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan identifikasi masalah bahwa masih banyak guru yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun PTK dan melaksanakannya di kelas. Lemahnya kemampuan mereka dalam menyusun PTK disebabkan oleh keterbatasan pengetahuan atau pemahaman mereka tentang PTK secara praktek. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan evaluasi. Dalam pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa para guru berpartisipasi aktif untuk memiliki keseriusan, kemauan, dan motivasi yang tinggi untuk mengembangkan penelitian tindakan kelas. Dalam meningkatkan keberhasilan pada proses pembelajaran salah satunya melalui penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Manfaat PTK di antaranya adalah membantu guru memperbaiki mutu pembelajaran, meningkatkan profesionalisme guru dan meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Kegiatan pelatihan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini memberikan dampak terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan tentang pemahaman penelitian tindakan kelas, pengolahan dan analisis data penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil akhir dalam penelitian ini adalah proses pelatihan memberikan manfaat bagi guru, yaitu dapat meningkatkan pemahaman guru pada Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, menumbuhkan motivasi dalam menyusun PTK dan melaksanakan PTK, serta bagi sekolah dapat meningkatkan kinerja sekolah melalui peningkatan profesionalisme guru. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan masukan guru di sekolah lainnya sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru melalui Penelitian Tindakan Kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik di MTs. Nu 04 Muallimin desa penaruban kecamatan weleri kabupaten kendal, melalui pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Guru merupakan titik sentral, yaitu sebagai ujung tombak di lapangan dalam pengembangan kurikulum. Keberhasilan belajar mengajar antara lain ditentukan oleh kemampuan professional dalam pribadi guru, dikarenakan pengembangan kurikulum berangkat dari dalam kelas, sehingga guru hendaknya mengusahakan gagasan kreatif dalam menerapkan kurikulum di kelasnya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain fenomenologi yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki kualitas praktik pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Data yang diambil adalah data sikap ilmiah siswa melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan wawancara dan observasi serta keduanya dilakukan pengecekan silang dengan tambahan dokumentasi sebagai data pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tujuh peran yang dilakukan guru-guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik di MTs. Nu 04 Muallimin Weleri. Tujuh peran tersebut yaitu; Penggunaan metode dan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi, pemberian tugas yang teratur, pujian (reward), evaluasi yang konsisten, penilaian dalam setiap aspek, dan juga hukuman (punishment).

Abstract

This study aims to understand the mutual relationship between teachers and parents in improving student learning outcomes. The site of this research is SMA NU 01 Al-Hidayah Kendal. This research uses a qualitative case study approach, where the researcher tries to understand the meaning behind the phenomena that occur in the field through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the mutual relationship built by the school to make teachers and parents more intimate in improving student learning outcomes was carried out through careful and systematic planning by involving all school parties to obtain optimal results. The planning carried out then carried out optimally and carried out jointly by the school with a mutualistic symbiotic principle and continued with an evaluation with the principle of continuous improvement.
