Abstract

School children are one of the groups most vulnerable to health problems due to environmental factors and unfavorable lifestyles. This condition must be anticipated immediately by increasing a healthy lifestyle through PHBS. One of the efforts in health promotion to increase knowledge is to conduct health education regarding clean and healthy living behavior, especially in schools. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of health promotion on elementary school children in increasing knowledge of clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) at Al-Irsyad Elementary School, Batu City. In this study the research method used was quantitative research using a Pre-Experimental Design or Pre-Experimental Design with the One Group Pretest Posttest Design approach. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling with inclusion and exclusion criteria. In this study, there were 34 children of grade 4 as samples. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that prior to being given health promotion they had sufficient knowledge with a percentage of 44.12% and less knowledge with a percentage of 55.88%, and after being given health promotion the respondents had good knowledge with a percentage of 100%. There is an effect of health promotion on increasing students' knowledge, based on the results of statistical tests showing 0.000 < 0.05, the hypothesis is accepted. The conclusion is that there is an effect of health promotion on knowledge of elementary school children regarding PHBS in grade IV students at Al-Irsyad Elementary School, Batu City.

Abstract

Abstract Elementary school-age children are an age group that is vulnerable and susceptible to health problems, the more prominent problem is clean and healthy living behavior. PHBS (Clean and Healthy Living Behavior) is an effort to provide learning experiences to create conditions for individuals, families, groups and communities. The purpose of this study was to describe knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior for elementary school students. This research method is a quantitative method with a descriptive design that describes the description of the elementary school children's knowledge of how to live a clean and healthy life. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling with the number of respondents 30 grade 4 elementary school students. The results of the study showed that almost all respondents had good knowledge of 90% and a small proportion had sufficient knowledge of 10%. The conclusion is that almost all respondents never received information related to PHBS knowledge, but there were still some respondents who received information regarding PHBS with sources of information through teachers and the internet. Knowledge of SD Wonomulyo 1 students about Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) after being educated using media print in the form of a leaflet that is in the good category, based on the results of statistical tests showing an overview of the knowledge of elementary school children about clean and healthy living behaviors. Abstract

Hands is one of the pathways of disease transmission, so washing hands with soap is the most effective way to kill viruses or bacteria. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of animated video media on the level of knowledge and action about CTPS before and after being given education in an effort to prevent the COVID 19 disease. The population in this study was 28 grade 3 students, the sample used in this study was grade 3 students who totaled 26 respondents. The sampling technique uses total sampling. Data collection using questionnaires and observation sheets, data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Wilcoxon's test results showed there was an effect of increasing knowledge and action where p value same with 0.000 less than a 0.005. This shows that the use of animated video media can increase the knowledge and actions of grade 3 students at SDN Tapir. This shows that the use of animated video media can increase the knowledge and actions of grade 3 students at SDN Tapir.The recommendation is that animated videos can be used to improve students CTPS actions as an effort in disease prevention.
