Abstract

The rapid advancements in information technology have transformed modern lifestyles, driving changes in consumer behavior and expectations, especially in the retail industry. This study focuses on developing a mobile application for Ampu Mart, a newly established retail business in Indonesia, to optimize product recommendation systems using the Content-Based Filtering (CBF) approach. The research integrates CBF with string matching and cosine similarity algorithms to provide personalized product recommendations based on customer preferences, enhancing user satisfaction and supporting more efficient purchasing decisions. The methodology involves several stages, including problem identification through observation and interviews, data collection on product attributes and customer preferences, system design, prototype development, implementation, and testing. The application leverages advanced algorithms to analyze product characteristics, ensuring relevant recommendations by matching user preferences with product attributes. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) conducted with 30 participants—customers, administrators, and management—evaluated the application's functionality, usability, accuracy, and performance. Results indicate that the mobile application improves the shopping experience and boosts sales by offering accurate, user-centered recommendations. The findings highlight the strategic importance of integrating intelligent technology into e-commerce platforms to enhance competitiveness in the retail market. Future work recommends incorporating Collaborative Filtering techniques to further enrich the recommendation system by analyzing collective customer behavior.

Abstract

Background of the study: In the rapidly developing digital era, the implementation of technology in archival systems has become inevitable. Archive systems are no longer limited to storing physical documents on shelves or filing cabinets, they have evolved into complex and integrated digital systems. Purpose: This research aims to investigate the benefits and disadvantages of implementing technology in archive systems. Method: This research uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to identify and analyze relevant articles about the implementation of technology in archive systems. This research is limited to articles published in the last five years in the Scopus database. Findings: The findings of this research reveal that the implementation of technology in archive systems provides significant benefits in terms of efficiency and information accessibility. However, it also presents risks and challenges such as high implementation costs, vulnerability to information security breaches, and risk of data loss. Conclusion: Although the implementation of technology in archival systems promises many benefits, organizations must carefully consider the associated risks and challenges. By better understanding the implications of these steps, organizations can make better decisions in their records management.

Abstract

The need for information technology at this time has become an obligation for every company or organization. One that applies the development of information technology is ABC University. ABC University is a university that was founded in 2012 and along with the development of educational infrastructure every year, in 2020 ABC University has just completed the construction of an integrated laboratory building that functions as a place for research, learning, and academic and non-academic activities. This Integrated Laboratory will be used by 17 study programs at ABC University, more than 3000 students as well as lecturers and the academic community. With the limited number of rooms and laboratory assets for a large number of laboratory users, a system that functions to facilitate the use of laboratories is needed, starting from scheduling laboratory use, borrowing laboratory space, and borrowing laboratory equipment, Therefore, an information system needs to be developed in order to meet the needs of the ABC University Integrated Laboratory, namely the ABC University Integrated Laboratory Management Information System (MIS). The method used in developing this Integrated Laboratory SIM is the Scrum method which includes sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective. Based on 5 iterations during the development process of the Integrated Laboratory MIS, the total backlog items obtained were 65 backlog items. The ABC University Integrated Laboratory MIS has also been hosted on ABC University's servers and can be accessed via the https://labterpadu.itk.ac.id link.

Abstract

Kecamatan Salem merupakan wilayah dengan perkebunan dan produksi kopi tertinggi di Kabupaten Brebes. Kelompok usaha bersama (KUB) Lulumpang menjadi salah satu tim yang aktif mengolah kopi hasil perkebunan  kopi di kecamatan salem. Produk yang dibuat oleh KUB Lulumpang berupa kopi bubuk yang diberi nama Kopi Salem. Namun saat ini permintaan greenbean lebih diminati oleh konsumen. Proses produksi greenbean di KUB Lulumpang masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga menjadi kendala dalam pemenuhan kualitas dan kuantitas greenbean sehingga diperlukan inovasi peningkaan kualitas dan kuantitas greenbean. Tim PKM-BR Unsoed mengkaji dan menerapkan teknologi tepat guna dengan mengadakan pelatihan manajemen usaha dan strategi daya saing serta hibah alat pengubas kulit ari biji kopi kering (huller). Penerapan teknologi meningkatkan efisiensi waktu dan kapasitas produksi sebesar 90% dan meningkatkan nilai harga jual hingga 53,85%.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong instansi pendidikan untuk terus berkembang guna meningkatkan kualitas akademik dan pendidikan yang sesuai dengan misi sekolah. Sejak didirikan pada tahun 2011, MTS Mathlaul Ulum telah mengalami peningkatan dan stabilitas jumlah siswa yang mendaftar. Untuk memberikan pelayanan yang optimal kepada siswa, diperlukan penerapan Enterprise Architecture (EA) dalam merencanakan dan mengelola sistem informasi, khususnya dalam penilaian siswa yang masih dilakukan secara konvensional dan belum optimal dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara untuk mengidentifikasi masalah yang ada. Sistem informasi yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kinerja guru dalam mengelola nilai siswa, serta memberikan akses yang lebih mudah bagi pihak terkait untuk memantau dan mengakses hasil belajar siswa setiap semester. Sistem ini berbasis web sehingga dapat diakses kapan saja, dan menggunakan multi-user untuk memastikan keamanan data. Hasil penelitian ini berupa prototype sistem dengan alur diagram aktivitas yang telah dirancang. Pengujian usability testing menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini memiliki nilai rata-rata 78,8 pada skala SUS, termasuk dalam kategori baik, sehingga dapat diterima dan layak digunakan oleh pengguna.

Abstract

Kopi merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi dan berperan penting dalam perekonomian di Indonesia. Sebagai produsen kopi terbesar keempat di dunia, Indonesia dikenal dengan berbagai jenis kopi khas, salahsatunya jenis robusta. Namun, meskipun kopi Indonesia memiliki potensi besar di pasar global, masih banyak tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pengembangan agribisnis kopi, seperti rendahnya produktivitas, kualitas yang belum konsisten, serta kurangnya akses ke pasar internasional yang lebih luas. Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) Kopi Salem (Kopi Guwek) di Desa Bentarsari, Kecamatan Salem, bersama Kelompok Tani Berkah Bumi Langit (Berbulan) menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam pengolahan kopi robusta. Pengupasan kopi cherry masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan lumpang dan alu, yang memakan banyak waktu dan tenaga serta menghasilkan greenbean berkualitas rendah. Proses pengeringan manual juga terdampak saat musim hujan. Melalui program Pemberdayaan Mitra Usaha Produk Unggulan Daerah (PM-UPUD) 2024, tim pengabdian berupaya meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan kualitas kopi dengan memberikan hibah alat seperti greenhouse kapasitas 1 ton, mesin pulper (250 kg/j), huller (250 kg/j) untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses produksi kopi dari hulu sampai ke hilir. Selain itu, pelatihan manajemen bisnis dan strategi pemasaran juga diberikan, guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani dan mendukung program pemerintah dalam menjadikan kopi sebagai produk unggulan Kabupaten Brebes.

Abstract

Abstrak – Kopi merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan di Indonesia yang sangat menarik untuk dieksplorasi lebih jauh. Di Indonesia, tepatnya di Kecamatan Salem-Kabupaten Brebes, sebagai salah satu kecamatan penghasil kopi di Kabupaten Brebes dan sebagai pemasok kopi di daerah-daerah pulau jawa. Permasalahan yang dihadapi dengan pemahaman yang kurang tentang tanaman kopi, mengakibatkan berpengaruh pada kualitas kopi dan manajemen pemasaran. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu program penyuluhan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman petani kopi dalam menjalankan agribisnis tanaman kopi. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dilakukan tim pengabdi Pemberdayaan Mitra Usaha Produk Unggulan Daerah (PMUPUD) Universitas Jenderal Soedirman dan Universitas Peradaban Bumiayu. Kegiatan ini bertema tentang Peningkatan Agribisnis Kopi dengan Penyuluhan Kajian Kopi Robusta pada UMKM Berbulan dan UMKM Kopi Guwek Kecamatan Salem-Brebes menggunakan penyuluhan dalam bentuk kegiatan sharing dan diskusi. Peserta kegiatan penyuluhan diikuti oleh 39 peserta yang terdiri dari UMKM Berbulan dan UMKM Kopi Gowek Kecamatan Salem. Permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu kurangnya pemahaman tentang tanaman kopi seperti cara penanaman yang baik, cara pemeliharaan dan cara penanggulangan hama tanaman kopi. Hasil kegiatan penyuluhan dari tes awal dan tes akhir pemahaman peserta penyuluhan menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pemahaman peserta pada pamahaman cara penanggulangan hama tanaman kopi yang baik.

Abstract

In the rapidly developing digital era, the metaverse is increasingly becoming an integral part of human life, including in the world of education. Metaverse, as a three-dimensional virtual world, has great potential to change the learning paradigm into immersive and engaging interactive experiences. The use of the metaverse in interactive learning has become an interesting focus of exploration, along with advances in virtual reality and augmented reality technology. This opens the door to the exploration of new concepts through simulations, educational games, and global collaboration, freeing learning from the limitations of the conventional classroom. Engaging learning experiences, hands-on simulations in virtual environments, and global collaboration are the advantages of interactive learning through the metaverse. The literature review covers various types of metaverses, their potential in learning, their implementation in economic education, and interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline 3. Although metaverses have a positive impact in improving the learning experience, ethical challenges such as accessibility, data security, and inclusivity need to be considered. The research results show that, although the metaverse opens a dynamic and exciting new era in digital education, certain limitations must be carefully addressed to ensure that the use of the metaverse in education provides maximum benefits for all students.   Abstrak Dalam era digital yang berkembang pesat, metaverse semakin menjadi bagian integral dari kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Metaverse, sebagai dunia maya tiga dimensi, memiliki potensi besar untuk mengubah paradigma pembelajaran menjadi pengalaman interaktif yang mendalam dan menarik. Pemanfaatan metaverse dalam pembelajaran interaktif menjadi fokus eksplorasi yang menarik, seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi virtual reality dan augmented reality. Ini membuka pintu untuk eksplorasi konsep baru melalui simulasi, permainan edukatif, dan kolaborasi global, membebaskan pembelajaran dari keterbatasan ruang kelas konvensional. Pengalaman pembelajaran yang menarik, simulasi praktik langsung dalam lingkungan virtual, dan kolaborasi global menjadi keuntungan pembelajaran interaktif melalui metaverse. Tinjauan literatur mencakup berbagai jenis metaverse, potensinya dalam pembelajaran, implementasinya dalam pendidikan ekonomi, dan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline 3. Meskipun metaverse memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan pengalaman belajar, tantangan etika seperti aksesibilitas, keamanan data, dan inklusivitas perlu diperhatikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, meskipun metaverse membuka era baru dalam pendidikan digital yang dinamis dan menarik, keterbatasan tertentu harus diatasi dengan cermat untuk memastikan bahwa penggunaan metaverse dalam pendidikan memberikan manfaat yang maksimal bagi seluruh peserta didik. Abstract

The "Disability Health Education" program was implemented by Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkes Malang at Posko Rescue Bela Negara, Karangduren, Pakisaji, Malang, May 23-25, 2024. The background of this program is to address the challenge of limited access to adequate health services for people with disabilities, who often face various obstacles in obtaining sufficient health education. The program aims to enhance knowledge and skills in five key areas: Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), healthy food, personal hygiene, basic life support, and emergency management.The methods used included lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. A total of 32 participants with disabilities participated in this program, accompanied by 10 students from the Applied Bachelor of Health Promotion, D-3 Health Insurance and the D-3 Medical Records and Health Information programs as facilitators. The effectiveness of the program was evaluated through pre-tests and post-tests to measure the increase in knowledge and skills of the participants before and after attending the program.The evaluation results showed a significant increase in the average post-test scores compared to the pre-test scores for all the taught materials. The frequency distribution of scores indicated an increase in the homogeneity of understanding among participants after attending the program. Descriptive statistical analysis showed that the average pre-test scores ranged from 6.25 to 6.69, while the average post-test scores increased to 8.12 to 8.19. The decrease in standard deviation in most materials indicated a more homogeneous distribution of scores after the program. In conclusion, the "Disability Health Education" program successfully improved the participants' health knowledge and skills significantly. Active participation and positive feedback from participants demonstrated the effectiveness of the teaching methods used. This program can serve as a model for similar health education programs in the future to provide broader benefits for the community of people with disabilities.
