Abstract

The problem faced by teachers, primarily Arabic teachers is how to conduct classroom action research correctly. As for the condition of Madrasah Arabic language teachers in the Serang Regency, most do not have an understanding of this. Then the Department of Arabic Language FTK UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten implemented the Community Service Program to facilitate, bridge, and communicate various lecturer resources in the administration of Community Service. This type of dedication research is qualitative field research. The purpose of this activity that researchers often hear and get information about the difficulties of teachers when going to conduct classroom action research (CAR). Based on this, the researchers conducted community service, especially Madrasah Arabic language teachers in the Serang Regency for assistance, training, workshops, monitoring of the implementation of CAR. From the results of dedication shows that the learning process is still centered on the teacher (teacher center). Doing PTK by the teacher will be able to improve student learning outcomes. The researcher's recommendations are: 1) Arabic teachers should always conduct Classroom Action Research. 2) Adjusting the use of methods in learning with the material, learning objectives, and age of students. 3) The teacher can use learning media. 4) Teachers in teaching must feel happy and cheerful. 5) The use of the time that must be considered.

Abstract

Job satisfaction and professional development are the talks of teachers in facing the challenges of 21st-century learning, where they must be able to adapt to the progress and development of information and communication in technology. Therefore, this article aims to analyze teacher job satisfaction, professional development, and the interaction between the two during the pandemic. A total of 232 public and private school teachers in urban areas were used as research samples. The sampling technique used a random technique. The research used an instrument developed and validated, then distributed through the principal and school supervisor, and the data were analyzed using the correlation technique. During the pandemic, the results revealed a high level of job satisfaction for state Islamic school teachers and a low level of job satisfaction for private Islamic school teachers, as well as a high level of professional development in both public and private Islamic schools and a moderate positive correlation between teacher job satisfaction and professional development in urban schools. Therefore, teachers should develop and carry out professional development in facing the challenges of 21st-century learning.

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of educational philosophy, explains the relationship between philosophy and educational theory, as well as the relationship between philosophy, education and culture. Educational philosophy is seen as a structured thinking process that uses philosophy as a guide in organizing, aligning, and integrating steps in education. The article also details definitions from several experts, such as Al-Syaibany, John Dewey, and Imam Barnadib, who describe educational philosophy as a philosophical analysis of education. In relation to educational theory, the article explains that educational philosophy conveys its philosophical principles to educational theory, often facing challenges that require contributions from educational philosophy. In addition, the article outlines the relationship between philosophy and culture, where culture is considered as a manifestation of human nature, and philosophy as a systematic and universal method of thinking that includes every soul. Finally, the article presents a view on the relationship between education and culture, describing education as a philosophical activity that aims to explain, harmonize, assess and change the educational process by considering cultural issues. Education is considered to have a dual responsibility, namely developing individual potential and preserving cultural values, which are sustainable and provide mutual support.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul "Manfaat Google Translate dalam Proses Penerjemahan Bahasa Arab pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa arab". Perkembangan teknologi telah mengubah cara mahasiswa memandang proses penerjemahan teks Arab. Saat ini, penerjemahan teks Arab tidak lagi membutuhkan kamus untuk mencari arti kata. Dengan menggunakan Google Translate, penerjemah dapat langsung memperoleh hasil terjemahan hanya dengan memasukkan kata atau kalimat ke dalam aplikasi tersebut. Fitur ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh siapa saja, bahkan tanpa pengetahuan mendalam tentang teori atau teknik penerjemahan. Namun demikian, hasil terjemahan dari Google Translate sering kali memerlukan revisi atau koreksi oleh mahasiswa karena tidak sepenuhnya akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi manfaat Google Translate bagi mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab dalam proses penerjemahan, serta hambatan yang mereka alami selama menggunakannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner online menggunakan Google Form. Populasi penelitian mencakup mahasiswa semester 5 jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab angkatan 2022 yang berjumlah 180 orang, dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 15 mahasiswa.
