Abstract

Basically this study intended to find out essential basic values which support social harmony in conflict-prone areas, with a profound study at primary schools in Sambas regency, west Kalimantan. As revealed by a number of data sources, west Kalimantan is one of the areas which is prone to conflict. This is evidenced by the happening of several ethnic conflicts including in Sambas regency so that it is an important policy of the regional government to find a solution in order to prevent similar conflicts from happening again in the future.The profound study at primary schools is deemed highly essential since social harmony values should be instilled among the students at an early age. In addition to that, teachers are knowledgeable about the foundation which creates an attitute of harmony among their students.The method used in this research is a qualitative one, with primary school teachers as the subject of the research. They represent three characteristic areas, namely: the urban area, the suburban area and the remote area of Sambas regency. Primary data collection was carried out through interview and focus group discussion (FGD), with the interactive model proposed by Miles & Huberman as technique of qualitative data analysis. The findings obtained from data collection and analysis revealed that social harmony has an important and profound meaning for society in Sambas regency. Basically there are three pillars of essential basic values which serve as the framework of social harmony, namely: (a) the basic values of mutual respect, (b) the basic values of tolerance and togetherness, and (c) the basic values of freedom and responsibility. Internalization of these basic values happen intensively especially in families through custom formation at households and society in Sambas regency. Meanwhile at schools these basic values are developed and reinforced through more formal custom formation by the teachers and school regulations.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to develop learning e-modules in teaching English in the classroom as well as to produce and disseminate learning media. This e-module can be used on smartphones and this e-module uses a constructivist approach. The steps of the research model are defined, designed, developed, and disseminated/implemented. Participants in this study were teachers and students of MAN 3 Pontianak. The data collection technique in this study refers to the interview list guidelines, namely the questionnaire. Data collection tools are learning outcomes and questionnaire sheets. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach for data analysis. The results showed that the design of the electronic module learning development in this study consisted of an analysis of curriculum and learning materials, an analysis of the characteristics of students and an analysis of student learning outcomes. The steps for developing an electronic module are by submitting a lot of learning materials and then being reviewed by experts according to their backgrounds as media experts and learning materials experts. The results of the expert review showed that the average score of the electronic module was 3.77 (range 1 - 4) and also the test given to students before applying it. The response of students after using the e-module showed 83.2% which means a positive response. This e-module can be applied to students because it has criteria such as self-instruction, stand alone, adaptive and user friendly. The learning outcomes of this research are that students are more active and construct themselves in learning descriptive texts in English class. The Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) in this study is 75 and the average is 79.04, which means that the use of e-modules in teaching descriptive texts is effective and can increase their scores.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana penerapan  model Problem Based  Learning  pada  pembelajaran  tematik  untuk  penguatan  karakter.  Karakter  yang menjadi  fokus dalam  penelitian  ini adalah  hormat  dan  tangg16ung  jawab.  Metode yang digunakan  adalah  pendekatan  deskriptif  kualitatif.  Penelitian ini menggunakan bentuk  Penelitian Tindakan Kelas.  Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik  observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara.  Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan  bahwa terjadi perubahan perilaku peserta didik menjadi  lebih bertanggung jawab  dan memiliki sikap hormat. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, p4eningkatan dalam perubahan perilaku pada setiap  siklus  penelitian.  Perubahan  perilaku  dari  siklus  l  ke  siklus  ll  mencapai 20%, sedangkan  dari  siklus  ll  ke  siklus  lll  mengalami  peningkatan  sebanyak  8%.   Berdasarkan data tersebut disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Leaming  dapat diterapkan untuk membentuk karakter peserta didik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis video tutorial rias karakter horor di SMAN 1 Mempawah Hilir. Untuk mencapai tujuan ini peneliti perlu mendesain pengembangan produk video tutorial, mendeskripsikan profil video tutorial dan menguji efektivitas produk tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Dick and Carey. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI di SMAN 1 Mempawah Hilir. Produk penelitian ini divalidasi oleh 6 validator ahli yang terdiri dari 2 orang validator ahli desain, 2 orang validator ahli media, dan 2 orang validator ahli materi. Data dari instrumen kuesioner dan respon siswa dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Aspek desainnya dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata Aiken’V keseluruhannya 0,88. Medianya dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata Aiken’V0,96. Materinya dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata Aiken’V 0,94. Nilai rata-rata uji coba perorangan sebesar 89% dengan kategori sangat baik. Nilai rata-rata uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 91% dengan kategori sangat baik. Nilai rata-rata uji coba lapangan respon siswa sebesar 94% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dari hasil perhitungan uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,000 yang berarti nilai < 0,05. Kesimpulannya terdapat pengaruh penggunaan video tutorial. Perhitungan Effect Size menunjukkan nilai 2,3 termasuk dalam kategori Strong effect. Dari hasil perhitungan diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis video tutorial rias karakter  horor memiliki pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa sehingga dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya pada materi rias karakter horor SMAN 1 Mempawah Hilir.

Abstract

Bullying is bad behavior carried out by a person or group repeatedly with the intention of hurting someone. It is hoped that parents can shape the character of their children at Islamic boarding schools so they can learn religious knowledge. Bullying is one of the biggest sins in education that still occurs today. The researchers conducted research with the aim of finding out the psychological impact of students and finding out the causes of bullying at the Kubu Raya Islamic Boarding School. This type of research uses qualitative research with a library research approach. The techniques used were interviews and observations of bullying cases which had an impact on the psychology of students at the Kubu Raya Islamic boarding school. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that victims of bullying prefer to remain silent when being bullied, because they are afraid of being bullied who will hurt themselves and the victim has difficulty reporting the incident to a caregiver or teacher. This makes victims of bullying harbor feelings of hurt, anger or pent-up emotions and will have difficulty making friends. One other way victims of bullying do this is to be alone. The boarding school students will carry out activities alone or the victims of bullying do not have many friends.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to provide teachers with facilities through the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) in handling and identifying cases of bullying and how to prevent bullying in the educational unit environment. The type of research is qualitative research, namely by means of literature study, the researcher examines the social phenomena that occur. Researchers use library research with the techniques used in research are observation and interviews. One of the materials in the independent training at PMM is Safe School Climate: Preventing Bullying. Implementation of bullying prevention in Pontianak State High School by training teachers, and approaching students, because students are the source of bullying at school. Training focuses on increasing belief in God Almighty and improving norms and laws, training aims to improve students' character.

Abstract

Kepercayaan diri yang tinggi dapat membawa manfaat yang signifikan seperti peningkatan kualitas hidup, kesuksesan karir, hubungan sosial yang lebih baik, dan kemampuan mengatasi tantangan sehari-hari. Sebaliknya, rasa percaya diri yang rendah dapat menghambat perkembangan siswa, membatasi potensi dirinya, dan mengganggu kesejahteraan mental. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan e-modul kepercayaan diri berbasis Android untuk membantu konselor bimbingan dalam mencapai tujuan konseling dan pembelajaran. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research & Development (R&D) dengan model 4-D: Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Penelitian ini melibatkan 46 siswa kelas X MAN 1 Pontianak, beserta pakar media, desain, dan konten. Fase Define mencakup analisis bagian depan, pembelajar, tugas, dan konsep untuk merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran, sedangkan fase Desain melibatkan konstruksi uji kriteria, pemilihan media, dan keputusan format. E-modul dikembangkan menggunakan PowerPoint, dikonversi ke format APK. Hasil validasi ahli media, desain, dan konten menunjukkan validitas tinggi, sedangkan uji pengembangan menghasilkan penilaian kuantitatif sangat positif. Umpan balik positif dari guru bimbingan dan siswa menegaskan relevansi dan efektivitas e-modul dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dalam layanan konseling di Madrasah.

Abstract

To encourage continued curriculum development, it is necessary to explore the relevance of the philosophy of progressivism and differentiated learning in the context of the Independent Curriculum. Therefore, this research was designed to answer these questions through literature exploration and provide insight into the principles of progressivism that can be applied in differentiated learning to achieve the goals of the Independent Curriculum. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was carried out by collecting data through literature studies, including books, journal articles, and relevant online sources. The data collected was then analyzed descriptively to understand the relevance of the philosophy of progressivism and differentiated learning in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The philosophy of progressivism and differentiated learning go hand in hand in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia. Both emphasize developing students' abilities through experience and independence. With this approach, students can learn according to their abilities and interests, and the teacher acts as a facilitator who adapts learning to the individual characteristics of students. The philosophy of progressivism and differentiated learning supports the Independent Curriculum in Indonesia, creating an inclusive and effective learning environment. Progressivism principles such as active and contextual learning are in line with differentiated learning strategies. Further research is needed to examine the implementation and effectiveness of this approach in the Merdeka Curriculum.
