Abstract

Inventory control needs to be considered because it has a very important meaning in running the company’s business, such as in the medical device distributor company Prima Jayac Alkes. The problem discussed is only for sterile non-electromedical medical devices, namely Disposable 1cc, 3cc, 5cc, and 10cc. In this study, two methods of comparision of inventory control systems will be presented, namely calculating the total cost between the Just in Time (JIT) method and Wagner Within Algorithm. The purpose of this study is to perform a comparative analysis of the cost of medical equipment inventory using the Just in Time methods and the Wagner Within algorithm. Based on the calculation result result in the acquisition of total inventory costs, it shows that the Wagner Within Algorithm methods obtains lower costs compared to Just in Time and company’s actual system for Disposable Syringe 1cc and Disposable Syringe 5cc. Meanwhile,  for Disposable Syringe 3cc and Disposable Syringe 10cc, the Just in Time Methods has a lower cost compared to Wagner Within Algorithm and Company’s actual system

Abstract

This research was conducted using data obtained from UD Kreasi Lutvi. Meanwhile, based on the results of production optimization processing using Table Simplex and QM For Windows V3, production levels show different levels of production, namely 80,000 large packages, 5,000 medium packages and 400 small packages. When UD Kreasi Lutvi produces according to optimal conditions, the profit that can be obtained under optimal conditions is Rp. 386,600,000, while the profit in factual conditions is Rp. 361,268,000, so the increase in profits is Rp. 25,332,000. This shows that the benefits in factual conditions and optimal conditions are much different, but to increase profits, UD Kreasi Lutvi must produce according to optimal conditions.

Abstract

Tembakau merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman yang dikenal di kalangan masyarakat Indonesia. Tanaman tembakau merupakan jenis tanaman tropis yang dapat hidup pada rentang iklim yang luas dan merupakan tanaman semusim. Tanaman tembakau ini tergolong dalam tanaman perkebunan, tersebar diseluruh nusantara. Secara umum, penggunaan tembakau masih terbatas sebagai bahan baku untuk pembuatan rokok. Menurut Taiga dan Friday (2009) daun dari tanaman tembakau mengandung bahan yang bersifat antibakteri dan antijamur, sehingga daun tembakau dapat dialih fungsikan menjadi obat alternatif, dalam hal ini daun tembakau dapat digunakan sebagai obat antijamur. Pada perkembangan tanaman tembakau, tembakau linting rasa (tembakau gulung beraneka rasa) merupakan alternatif bagi konsumen di masa kini. Pasar tembakau saat ini diramaikan dengan kehadiran tembakau rasa-rasa. Karena, harga rokok konvensional di Indonesia tergolong mahal, sehingga membuat perokok harus mencari alternatif lain untuk meminimalisir biaya, salah satu caranya yakni dengan mengosumsi tembakau lintingan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan manajemen pemilihan tembakau rasa yang paling banyak diminati oleh konsumen dengan menggunakan metode Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) dan diharapkan nantinya dapat menjadi rekomendasi untuk masyarakat yang baru akan memulai mengganti rokok konvensional dengan tembakau linting rasa (tembakau gulung beraneka rasa) mengingat harga rokok konvensional yang semakin meningkat untuk penjual.

Abstract

North Sumatra is one of the provinces that contributes the most prominent agricultural commodities of red chilies and cayenne peppers in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the outcomes of price forecasts for cayenne and red chilies in the province of North Sumatra. The method used is multivariate singular spectrum analysis. Results were grouped into six groups based on 12 eigenvectors with a forecast length of 9 monthly periods. Further, the level of accuracy was obtained from MAPE for each variable, with the highest MAPE being 30% for the curly red chili, 27.55% for the big red chili, and the lowest at 23.44% for mixed cayenne pepper. So, the price forecast for red chilies and cayenne peppers in North Sumatra Province for October 2023 to June 2024 using the Multivariate Singular Spectrum Analysis model is included in the forecast category with reasonable capabilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the factors that have a significant effect on the types of malignant and benign breast cancer using the binary logistic regression approach and classify the factors that have a significant effect on the types of malignant and benign breast cancer using the regression method. tree-structured logistics on breast cancer data from H. Adam Malik Hospital Medan 2021. This research is a type of applied research by collecting secondary data from the H Adam Malik General Hospital Medan. The research variables used are the response variable (Y) and the predictor variable (X). In the response variable there are also two categories, namely benign breast cancer patients and malignant breast cancer patients. While the predictor variables in this study were age, age at menarche, age at menopause, age at parity, use of hormonal contraception, genetics, number of children, breastfeeding period, and mammary fibroadenosis. This study uses the binary logistic regression method because it is a good method in determining factors. In addition, the tree-structured logistic regression method is also used because it is a good method in determining factor classification with a good level of accuracy for all data. These two methods can make it easier for researchers to calculate and determine the factors that have a significant effect on the type of malignant breast cancer and benign breast cancer using all the available variables. The results of this study obtained an accuracy value of 94% for the binary logistic regression method and 97.74% for the tree-structured logistic regression method. Because it has an accuracy value of almost 100%, this means that the binary logistic regression method and tree-structured logical regression applied to this research problem are good enough

Abstract

In a Government Agency, office stationery supplies are an absolute necessity. The provision of adequate office stationery will facilitate performance. This study aims to predict the demand for office stationery using Monte Carlo Simulation. Monte Carlo is a numerical analysis method that uses random number samples. The data used in this study are primary data in the form of the number of stock items and the number of requests for goods from January to December 2023. The accuracy result using the Monte Carlo method for Year 2024 is 91.78%. This shows that the Monte Carlo method simulation can be used to predict the demand for stationery for the following year.

Abstract

Vaksin merupakan sebuah racikan atau bahan yang digunakan untuk menstimulus antibodi agar bisa lebih kebal terhadap suatu penyakit. Penyakit ini disebabkan oleh gigitan hewan yang menderita rabies yang ditularkan pada manusia. Di Sumatera Utara pemberian vaksin rabies ini diberikan kepada dinas perkebunan dan peternakan Dinas ini akan mendapatkan kiriman vaksin rabies dari pemerintah pusat di Jakarta. Dikarenakan padatnya pekerjakan membuat bidang tersebut harus menghemat waktu agar semua pekerjaan dapat dilakukan dengan baik. Model Backward Recursive Equation merupakan salah satu model yang ada di dynamic programming. Program Dinamis (dynamic programming) merupakan metode pemecahan masalah dengan cara menguraikan solusi menjadi sekumpulan (stage). Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Peternakan ? Nasional Sport ?
