Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai dua tujuan. Pertama, untuk mendeskripsikan cara mediamassa mengonstruksi nilai-nilai agama dalam sinetron Pesantren dan Rock 'n Rollyang ditavangkan SCTV. Kedua, mendeskripsikan prosentase iklan dalam satu kalitayangan sinetron Pesaniren dan Rock 'n Roll. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metodeanalisis wacana Teun A Van Dijk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilaiagama yang dikonstruksi dalam sinetron Pesantren dan Rock n Roll adalah masalahhubungan cinta anak muda di lingkungan pesantren. Bahwa sebagai manusia biasa,para santri pun bisa dan boleh mengalami jatuh cinta. Perilaku pasrah dan merenunginasib ketika seseorang patah hati, sangat ditonjolkan dalam tayangan ini. SinetronPesantren dan Rock n Roll yang ditayangkan SCTV berhasil mengkomodifikasikannilai-nilai agama. Keberhasilan komodifikasi ini diindikasikan oleh prosentase waktuiklan yang mencapai 33%. Indikasi lain adalah ditayangkannya sinetron tersebutsetiap hari selama dua jam, yakni dari jam 21.00 hingga 23.00 WIB.

Abstract

This research is intended to analyze the perception of the students towards the use of operations research virtual laboratory. Technology Acceptance Mode is used for the analysis of the process of information technology adoption. MPT comprises of three main variables, namely perceived usefulness, perceived easy of use and the actual intention to use. A sample size of 60 Gunadarma University students are taken, comprise of 30 students from the faculty of industrial technology and 30 students from the faculty of economics. The result revealed that the most of the respondents perceive that the operations research virtual laboratory can be used only as complementary of the face to face laboratory practice. The correlation matrix indicates high positive correlation between perceived usefulness and perceived easy of use. Abstract

Jakarta as the state capital of Indonesia faces complex problems in daily life, especially those related to high population density, urbanization, traffic congestion, natural disasters, and severe environmental conditions. These problems are becoming justifications for the need to move the country's capital to East Kalimantan as decided by the government. East Kalimantan was chosen as the new capital, based on the results of intensive studies, having very minimal disaster reserves such as floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, forest fires and landslides. East Kalimantan is also considered to have a strategic location. If drawn coordinates, its location is in the middle of Indonesian territory, and is near urban areas. Dissemination of information about those planning is done through various communication networks, including on social media. This study aims to identify the dominant actors in communication networks on Twitter with the hashtag #IbuKotaBaru during the periods of August 1 to September 22, 2019. The study was conducted using quantitative approach by employing GEPHI tools. The results revealed that in the #IbuKotaBaru communication network, there were three dominant actors who actively disseminate the relevant information namely detikfinance, yulionta and derupiston. The most popular actor was detikfinance. There are 63.33% of actors who have a high closeness with other actors, there are no actor who mediate with other actors in communication. Yulionta and Derupiston are the two most important actors in disseminating information about the move to new country’s capital in the #IbuKotaBaru communication network as indicated by its highest values of Eigenvector Centrality.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas mengenai “Kecanduan Media Sosial (FoMO) Pada Generasi Milenial”, dimana Generasi Milenial paling aktif menggunakan media sosial sehingga mempengaruhi gaya hidup mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak dari kecanduan media sosial atau disebut dengan sindrom FoMO (Fear of Missing Out) pada generasi milenial di kota Depok. Teori yang digunakan teori Determinasi Diri untuk melihat dampak seperti apa saja yang timbul pada diri Generasi Milenial yang mengalami kecanduan media sosial (FoMO). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, dimana teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa Milenial yang mengalami kecanduan media sosial (FoMO) memiliki dampak positif dan negatif pada kehidupan sehari-hari mereka, dimana dengan kecanduan media sosial menjadikan diri mereka selalu terupgrade dengan informasi-informasi terbaru yang secara tidak langsung membuat diri mereka memiliki motivasi untuk melakukan suatu hal. Kata Kunci: Fear of Missing Out; Fenomenologi; Kecanduan Media Sosial; Milenial; Sindrom FoMO. AbstractThis research discusses “Social Media Addiction (FoMO) in Millennial Generation, where Millennial Generation is most actively using social media so that it affects their lifestyle. This study aims to determine the impact of social media addiction or the so-called FoMO (Fear of Missing Out) syndrome on the millennial generation in Depok. The theory used by the Self-Determination theory is to see what kind of impacts arise on Millennials who experience social media addiction (FoMO). This research uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, where the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study found that millennial of social media addiction (FoMO) have a positive and negative impact on their daily lives, in which social media addiction allows themselves to be constantly uplifted with new information that indirectly gives themselves the motivation to do something. Keywords: Fear of Missing Out; Phenomenology; Social Media Addiction; Millennial; FoMO Syndrome.

Abstract

Abstract The President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo announced plans to relocate Indonesia's capital city Jakarta to the administrative region of North Penajam Paser Regency and Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan province. This removal is due to the condition of Jakarta which has increasingly complex problems, ranging from traffic congestion, population density, natural disasters, floods and others. Dissemination of information about the planned move of the capital of the country of Indonesia is done through various communication networks on social media including Twitter. One unit of analysis in communication networks is PageRank. PageRank value is not determined by how many links are seen, but how many other sites make links that point to the pages of that site. This study aims to determine the actors who have the highest PageRank value on the #IbuKotaBaru communication network on Twitter. The study was conducted using Gephi tools with quantitative methods. Data were collected from August 1 to September 22, 2019. The results showed that in the #IbuKotaBaru communication network, the actor with the highest PageRank was detikfinance followed by Jokowi and BappenasRI.Keywords: Communication Network Analysis, PageRank, #IbuKotaBaruAbstraksiPresiden Republik Indonesia Joko Widodo mengumumkan rencana pemindahan ibukota negara Indonesia Jakarta ke wilayah administratif  Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara dan Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, provinsi Kalimantan Timur.  Pemindahan ini disebabkan kondisi Jakarta memiliki permasalahan yang semakin kompleks, mulai dari kemacetan lalu lintas, kepadatan penduduk, risiko bencana alam dan lain-lain. Penyebaran informasi tentang rencana pemindahan ibukota negara Indonesia dilakukan melalui  berbagai  jaringan komunikasi di media sosial termasuk Twitter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi aktor yang memiliki nilai Peringkat Halaman (PageRank) tertinggi pada jaringan komunikasi #IbuKotaBaru di Twitter. Nilai PageRank tidak ditentukan oleh seberapa banyak link tersebut dilihat, tetapi seberapa banyak situs lain yang membuat tautan yang mengarah ke halaman situs tersebut.    Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan tools Gephi dengan metode kuantitatif. Data dihimpun dari tanggal 1 Agustus 2019 sampai 22 September 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam jaringan komunikasi #IbuKotaBaru, aktor yang memiliki PageRank tertinggi adalah detikfinance diikuti oleh Jokowi dan BappenasRI.Kata kunci: Analisis Jaringan Komunikasi, PageRank, #IbuKotaBaru

Abstract

Good interpersonal communication between teachers and students in the learning process is very necessary for the smooth running of effective learning, after the implementation of restrictions in the Covid19 era made schools implement blended learning so that the use of Microsoft Teams was used by schools as LMS to help teachers and students. students in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to determine the interpersonal communication of teachers and students in the use of Microsoft Teams, the supporting factors and barriers to interpersonal communication and how effective interpersonal communication is between teachers and students in the blended learning process of Senior High Schools in Bekasi City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results show that interpersonal communication between teachers and students has been running quite effectively with the use of Microsoft Teams as a learning medium that helps teachers and students to be able to connect to online learning in the Covid19 pandemic era. There is openness, empathy, supportive attitude, positive attitude, and equality shown by teachers and students so that there is effectiveness of interpersonal communication.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan V-Lab Riset Operasional. Analisis proses adopsi teknologi informasi banyak menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model (MPT), yang terdiri dari 3 variabel utama, yaitu persepsi manfaat, persepsi kemudahan penggunaan serta intensi penggunaan aktual. Subyek penelitiannya adalah 60 orang mahasiswa Universitas Gunadarma, yang terdiri dari 30 orang dari Fakultas Teknologi Industri dan 30 orang dari Fakultas Ekonomi. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa responden cenderung mempunyai persepsi V-Lab OR hanya dapat digunakan sebagai pelengkap praktikum secara face to face. Hasil analisis menggunakan Matriks Korelasi menunjukkan persepsi manfaat berkorelasi positif sangat kuat dengan persepsi kemudahan penggunaan. Sementara itu persepsi manfaat dan kemudahan penggunaan secara bersama-sama juga mempunyai korelasi yang kuat positif dengan intensi penggunaan aktual.

Abstract

Learning the Qur'an language as a foreign language is very challenging. This research is intended to analyze the learning method adopted by the Tamyiz online. This study used qualitative methods. The results showed that the Tamyiz online is a method of learning the Qur'an language online using the WhatsApp. The learning materials are delivered on a daily basis. The assignment can be in the form of muroja'ah, a memorization song according to the rhythm of a certain song. At  the end of learning period, an exam using the Quizizz app is carried out to determine the level of learner's achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui arah pembingkaian berita di Kompas.com dan Detik.com terkait peraturan yang dikeluarkan oleh Pemerintah Indonesia dalam hal ini Kemendikbud Ristek terkait dengan Pembelajaran Tatap Muka (PTM). Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivis, yang memandang realitas kehidupan sosial bukanlah realitas yang natural. Teori yang digunakan adalah Konstruksi Realitas Sosial, dan menggunakan model Robert N. Entman dalam pembingkaian berita pada Kompas.com dan Detik.com. Dalam framing, yang dianalisis dari  dua media online ini adalah define problems  untuk melihat bagaimana suatu peristiwa itu terjadi, diagnose causes terkait dengan permasalahan dari PTM, make moral judgement tentang tindakan moral dari peraturan yang dilakukan, dan treatment recommendation tentang penyelesaian dari peraturan yang dibuat. Dari komponen  framing yang ada, peneliti menganalisis kebijakan, kebutuhan, dan permasalahan yang ada dalam merealisasikan pembelajaran jarak jauh di berbagai daerah di Indonesia.
