Abstract

The mathematics substance is abstract, therefore applying a teaching aids namely Meqip become very important, because students will more easily understand the abstract mathematical concept and principles. The Community Partnership Program (PKM) is held at SD Inpres Mangasa, Gowa Regency. The results of PKM activities are: (1) By using Meqip, students are more enthusiastic in learning mathematics, especially on the plane geometry topic because the activity done is not only sitting and listening to the teacher's description, but also other activities such as observing and seeing all  objects directly in Meqip teaching aids, conducting gradual exploration, demonstrating the physical objects of teaching aids, which can improve the students' mastery on the plane geometry topic, (2) This PKM implementation activity, shows that the enthusiasm of the teachers to respond the presented material of PKM program has increased. This is indicated by the amount of teachers  who ask questions, suggestions and criticisms, as well as providing a solutive view on the application of Meqip teaching aids, and (3) There was a significant increase of teacher's knowledge and understanding regarding the elementary  mathematics concepts. Learning mathematics through Meqip teaching aids can improve the insight of mathematics teachers and make them become more creative, while students will be more enthusiastic in learning mathematics, which also can improve the students' mathematics learning outcomes in elementary school.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pelatihan Desain Pembelajaran Abad 21 untuk Pendidik di Kabupaten Pangkep ini bertujuan untuk melatih Guru SMA di Pangkep dalam mendesain pembelajaran Abad ke-21. Pelatihan ini dapat membantu pendidik mempelajari bagaimana 21CLD mendukung pengintegrasian teknologi pembelajran, dan lainnya, ke dalam kurikulum mereka. Dimensi dalam pembelajaran 21CLD terdiri dari Konstruksi pengetahuan, Kolaborasi, Pemecahan masalah dan inovasi dunia nyata, Komunikasi yang terampil, Regulasi diri, dan Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) untuk pembelajaran. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk upgrading untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada guru-guru MGMP Matematika di Kabupaten Pangkep tentang Desain Pembelajaran menggunakan keterampilan 4C. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis ditinjau dari self esteem. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling dan jumlah sampel yaitu 26 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan menggunakan instrumen tes dan non-tes. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, angket self esteem, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial dengan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kategori SER (Self esteem rendah), (2) Penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh sebesar 27,3% terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kategori SES (Self esteem sedang), dan (2) Penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh sebesar 82,8% terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kategori SET (Self esteem tinggi).Kata Kunci: Inkuiri Terbimbing, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis, Self esteemThis study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the application of the guided inquiry learning model on critical thinking skills in terms of self-esteem. The sampling technique in this study used a random sampling technique and the number of samples was 26 students. Data collection techniques are using test and non-test instruments. The instruments used are tests of students' critical thinking skills, self-esteem questionnaires, and learning implementation observation sheets. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics with simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) The application of the guided inquiry learning model had no effect on the critical thinking skills of students in the SER category (low self-esteem), (2) The application of the guided inquiry learning model had an effect of 27.3% on the critical thinking skills of students in the SES category ( moderate self-esteem), and (2) the application of the guided inquiry learning model has an effect of 82.8% on the critical thinking ability of students in the SET category (high self-esteem).Keywords: Guided Inquiry, Critical Thinking Skills, Self-Esteem

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan siswa. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 3 orang siswa. Teknik pengambilan subjek pada penelitian ini berjumlah tiga siswa dengan kategori kemampuan matematika tinggi, sedang dan rendah.  Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu pemberian tes dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan rendah melakukan empat tipe kesalahan yakni, kesalahan memahami (comprehension errors), kesalahan transformasi (transformation errors), kesalahan keterampilan proses (process skill errors). Siswa dengan kemampuan matematika sedang melakukan tiga tipe kesalahan yakni, kesalahan transformasi (transformation errors), kesalahan keterampilan proses (process skill errors), dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban (encoding errors) dan siswa dengan kemampuan matematika tinggi melakukan 2 tipe kesalahan yakni kesalahan transformasi (transformation errors) dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban (encoding errors).Kata kunci: Analisis Kesalahan, Analisis Kesalahan Newman, Kemampuan Matematika, StatistikaThis research is a qualitative research that aims to find out student errors. The research subjects consisted of 3 students. The technique of taking the subject in this study amounted to three students with high, medium and low mathematical ability categories. The instrument in this study used tests and interviews. Data collection techniques in this study are giving tests and interviews. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it showed that students with low abilities made four types of errors, namely, comprehension errors, transformation errors, process skill errors. Students with moderate math skills make three types of errors, namely, transformation errors, process skill errors, and encoding errors, and students with high math skills make 2 types of errors, namely transformation errors and encoding errors.Key words: Error Analysis, Newman Error Analysis, Mathematical Ability, Statistic

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain pembelajaran Think-Pair-Share (TPS) dalam perkulihan teori grup. Desain yang dikembangkan mengacu pada tahapan yang digunakan Frank Lyman, yang diadopsi oleh Ibrahim dalam proses belajar dengan berpikir secara berpasangan. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa matematika Universitas Negeri Makassar semester ganjil tahun akademik 2022/2023 yang mengikuti mata kuliah teori grup. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, dan tes yang diikuti wawancara terbuka. Hasil penelitian diperoleh desain TPS dengan tahapan: (1) Persiapan: analisis kurikulum, siswa, dan materi; (2) Pendahuluan: apersepsi, menyampaikan tujuan, dan motivasi; (3) Kegiatan Inti: menyampaian materi, bekerja kelompok (Think-Pair-Share); (4) Penutup: penugasan proyek; dan (5) Evaluasi. Desain pembelajaran TPS tersebut, dapat memfasilitasi aktivitas mahasiswa secara aktif berinteraksi dengan mahasiswa lainnya dalam proses pembelajaran teori grup yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar mereka. Kata Kunci: Think-Pair-Share, Aktivitas, Teori Grup

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan sekolah terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika siswa Indonesia berdasarkan PISA 2018. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kausal komparatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Indonesia yang mengikuti survei PISA 2018 sebanyak 12098 data siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik studi pustaka. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel perundungan, ketidakhadiran dan keterlambatan siswa, kompetisi, kerja sama, dan rasa memiliki sekolah secara terpisah terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika. Sedangkan, untuk variabel perilaku guru dan partisipasi orang tua, keduanya secara terpisah tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika. Lingkungan sekolah secara keseluruhan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika siswa Indonesia berdasarkan PISA 2018.Kata Kunci: lingkungan sekolah, kemampuan literasi matematika, PISA.This research aims to know the effect of school climate on Indonesian Students’ mathematical literacy skills based on PISA 2018. This research is a causal-comparative research. The population in this research were all 12098 Indonesian students who took part in the 2018 PISA survey. The data was collected by literature study technique. The data were analyzed with regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant effect between the variables of bullying, student truancy and lateness, competition, co-operation, and sense of belonging at school separately on mathematical literacy skills. As for the variables of teacher behavior and parental participation, both separately do not have a significant effect on mathematical literacy skills. The school climate as a whole has a significant effect on Indonesian students’ mathematical literacy skills based on PISA 2018.Keywords: school climate, mathematical literacy skills, PISA.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the productive pedagogies of the pre-service teachers. Productive pedagogies are measured based on four dimension. This research involved three pre-service teachers in Universitas Negeri Makassar, Indonesia, who carry out teaching practices in schools. This research is a case study. The assessment of productive pedagogies was measured using a questionnaire, observation, and semi-structured interviews.  The lowest average was found on the intellectual quality dimension of 79.6 (high category) based on the overall dimensions. This result suggests that, of all of the dimensions, Intellectual Quality was the least likely to be included in the classes. The highest dimension of the productive pedagogies of the pre-service teacher was connectedness, around 84.7, with a very high category. That means the pre-service teachers mainly focused on Connectedness during their teaching practice, followed by the Recognition of Differences around 82.2 (high category). Meanwhile, the Supportive Classroom Environment dimension is in the high category at about 79.9. Furthermore, for the Supportive Learning Environment dimension, two elements, academic engagement and self-regulation, were frequently observed in all pre-service teachers' classes. Still, student control, in which the teacher gives students chances to determine specific activities or outcomes of the lesson, was not very often.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan: (1) Mengembangkan media e-comic berbasis contextual teaching and learning pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel. (2) Mengetahui kualitas media e-comic berbasis contextual teaching and learning pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian R&D dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi lima tahapan yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Media e-comic yang valid berdasarkan hasil lembar validasi ahli media dan ahli materi. (2) Media e-comic yang praktis berdasarkan hasil lembar observasi keterlaksanaan media dalam pembelajaran diperoleh rata-rata persentase yakni 96,42%, serta pemberian angket respon guru dan siswa terhadap media e-comic diperoleh persentase 97,91% dan 90,51%. (3) Media e-comic yang efektif berdasarkan tes hasil belajar siswa diperoleh hasil efektif (≥ 85%) dengan ketuntasan kelas sebesar 87,87%. Media e-comic berbasis contextual teaching and learning yang dikembangkan dengan model ADDIE bersifat valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel.Kata kunci: E-comic, Contextual Teaching and Learning, Valid, Praktis, Efektif.This development research aims: (1) Develop e-comic media based on contextual teaching and learning on the material of a three-variable linear equation system. (2) Knowing the quality of e-comic media based on contextual teaching and learning on the material of a three-variable linear equation system developed in terms of aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The type of this research is R&D with the ADDIE development model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of this research are (1) Valid e-comic media based on the results of the media expert and the material expert. (2) Practical e-comic media based on the results of the observation sheet on the implementation of the media in learning obtained an average percentage of 96.42%, and the percentage of teacher and student response questionnaires to e-comic media obtained a percentage of 97.91% and 90.51%. (3) Effective e-comic media based on the student learning outcomes test obtained effective results (≥ 85%) with class completeness of 87.87%. E-comic media based on contextual teaching and learning developed with the ADDIE model are valid, practical, and effective for use in learning mathematics on the material of a three-variable linear equation system.Keywords: E-comic, Contextual Teaching and Learning, Valid, Practical, Effective.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the students' perception of their mathematics classroom learning environments in class VIII of SMP IT Ar-Rahmah after implementing the STEAM Project. The type of research is a mixed method. Data were collected using questionnaires and interviews. Based on the results of data analysis, the following conclusions were drawn: (1) the student mathematics learning outcomes are in the high category; (2) The perceptions of the learning environment indicate that the post-test scores were slightly higher than the pre-test scores for all scales: Student Cohesiveness, Teacher Support, Involvement, Investigation, Task Orientation, Cooperation, Equity;  (3) The teacher prepared the project design in teaching the 3D shape, students also have to work in groups, communicate,  presenting their work, and all the students had the opportunity to engage with mathematical content.
