Abstract

Abstract Frankenstein karya Mary Shelley merupakan sebuah eksplorasi ambisi manusia dan konsekuensinya. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis ironi yang dialami oleh karakter-karakter utama dalam novel, terutama Victor Frankenstein dan makhluk ciptaannya. Dengan menggunakan teori sastra, penelitian ini akan mengungkap bagaimana ironi membentuk karakteristik, motivasi, dan nasib para tokoh. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga akan membahas bagaimana ironi menjadi alat bagi Shelley untuk mengkritik pandangan masyarakat pada zamannya tentang ilmu pengetahuan dan penciptaan. Kata kunci: Ironi , Penciptaan ,frankenstein,mary shelley. Kata kunci: Ironi ,Perkembangan Karakter, Monster,frankenstein,mary shelley.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran solvabilitas, laba akuntansi, dan profitabilitas dalam meningkatkan harga saham perusahaan. Melalui pendekatan literature review. Solvabilitas sebagai indikator kemampuan perusahaan memenuhi kewajiban jangka panjang, laba akuntansi sebagai indikator kinerja keuangan, dan profitabilitas sebagai ukuran efisiensi operasional, secara teoritis memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan harga saham. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan literature review dengan mengkaji jurnal-jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan laporan penelitian terkait topik yang relevan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa solvabilitas, laba akuntansi, dan profitabilitas memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pergerakan harga saham, dengan catatan bahwa konteks industri dan kondisi ekonomi makro turut memoderasi hubungan tersebut. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan teori keuangan dan manajemen strategis, serta menawarkan implikasi praktis bagi perusahaan dan investor dalam mengambil keputusan strategis

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this study is to determine whether visual media influences the improvement of Arabic language skills among participants of the Arabic language camp at the Islamic University of Selangor, Malaysia. Vocabulary mastery is a crucial foundation in Arabic language learning, as it determines one’s ability to understand and communicate effectively. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, where participants were divided into two groups: an experimental group taught using visual media and a control group taught through the lecture method. Data collection was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the independent t-test analysis showed a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the two groups. The experimental group demonstrated a significantly higher average score compared to the control group. The calculated t-value was 6.184, which exceeded the critical t-value of 2.021 at the 0.05 significance level, with a two-tailed significance of 0.001. These results indicate that the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the use of visual media positively influences the improvement of Arabic vocabulary. These findings contribute significantly to the development of more effective and engaging Arabic language teaching strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes of a work accident involving a coal barge that hit a cafe on the banks of the Mahakam River, Samarinda, and to provide recommendations to prevent similar incidents. In this study, the data used is secondary data using literature and reports related to the incident. The research method applied is a qualitative approach with a literature study, which allows for in-depth analysis of the phenomenon without direct field data collection. The main factors of this accident are: (1) human negligence (2) equipment damage and (3) extreme weather conditions. The impact of this accident includes severe damage to the cafe building, financial losses for the business owner, disruption of business operations, and psychological trauma for visitors and employees. As a preventive measure, this study recommends the installation of barriers on the riverbank, routine inspection and replacement of ship connecting ropes, installation of rope tension sensors for early detection of damage, and training of ship crews in dealing with bad weather conditions. This study highlights the importance of implementing occupational safety standards to reduce the risk of accidents in the water transportation sector

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of interactive image media in Arabic language learning, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and examine its contribution to students’ learning motivation in the Mukhoyyam Arabi program at Universiti Islam Selangor Malaysia. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving facilitators and participants of the program. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of interactive image media is carried out systematically through several stages, including opening activities, vocabulary introduction, audio utilization, visual presentation of images, and evaluation through interactive activities. The use of this media creates an engaging and dynamic learning environment that enhances students’ interest and participation. Supporting factors include high student enthusiasm, enjoyable learning atmosphere, cross-cultural interaction, and the active role of facilitators. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors consist of limited program duration, differences in students’ backgrounds, and the need for initial adaptation. Overall, interactive image media significantly contributes to improving students’ learning motivation, as indicated by increased interest, attention, and active engagement during the learning process.
