Abstract

This experiment aims to determine two sorghum lines that provide the best growth and yield with the legowo spacing system treatment. This experiment was conducted in Kalumbuk Village, Kuranji District, Padang City, West Sumatra from March 2022 - June 2022. The experiment used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatment combinations and 4 replications, so that 24 experimental units were obtained. The treatment combinations used consisted of control spacing with line 11-1, control spacing with line 76-1, legowo spacing 2:1 with line 11-1, legowo spacing 2:1 with line 76-1, legowo spacing 3:1 with line 11-1, and legowo spacing 3:1 with line 76-1. Based on the experiment, it can be concluded that the combination of the 2:1 jajar legowo planting distance system and the 76-1 line had a significant effect on the observation parameters of plant height, namely 177.9 cm, wet panicle weight, namely 128.33 g, dry panicle weight, namely 82.73 g, and production per hectare, namely 9.49 tons.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain the correct concentration and time interval for administering golden snail Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) on the growth and yield of sweet corn ( Zea mays var. saccharata Sturt). The experiment was carried out in Korong Gadang Village, Padang, West Sumatra on Ultisol soil type with a height of 10 meters above sea level. The experiment used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD), the first factor was the LOF of golden snails 0ml/L, 50 ml/L, 100 ml/L, the second factor was the time interval for administering 5, 10, and 15 days with 3repetitions. times to obtain 27 experimental units. The parameters observed consisted of plant height, ILD, age at which male flowers appeared, age at which female flowers appeared, weight of cobs with husks, weight of cobs without husks, length of cobs, number of rows of cobs, number of seeds per row, weight of fresh shells, production per plot and per Ha. The experimental results showed that there was an interaction between the concentration and the time interval for administering golden snail LOF on the weight of shelled cobs and the weight of fresh shelled shells when given aconcentrationof100ml/L.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to analyze the interaction between the concentration of bamboo shoots of liquid organic fertilizer and cucumber plant varieties on the growth and yield of cucumber plants. This experiment used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factors. The first factor is the type of cucumber plant varieties, Wulan F1 variety and Mercy F1 variety. The second factor is the addition of Bamboo Shoots POC which consists of 4 levels, 0, 50, 75 and 100 ml/liter of water. The parameters observed were stem length, age of first flower appearance, age of first harvest, number of planting fruit, fruit diameter, fruit length, fruit weight of crop, fruit weight per plot and per hectare. Based on the results of the experiment, it can be concluded that giving bamboo shoots POC 100 ml/liter of water can increase the growth and yield of cucumber plants reaching 47.31 tons/ha.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of rhizobacteria and seed pruning on the growth and yield of red chilies. This research has been carried out in the Malvinas Delta permanent nursery, Padang Watershed Management Agency (BPDAS). This experiment used a factorial completely randomized design with 2 factors. The first factor was pruning the seeds, namely: without pruning, trimming at 21 days after sowing, trimming at 30 days after sowing. The second factor is the provision of rhizobacteria which consists of: without rhizobacteria and given rhizobacteria. The observations made in the experiment were plant height, number of primary branches, age of flowering, age at first harvest, length of fruit, number of fruit planted, and weight of fruit planted. The results of the experiment showed a significant interaction between pruning seeds and giving rhizobacteria to the growth and yield of red chilies at the plant height and number of branches. The influence of rhizobacteria on the growth and yield of red chilies on the parameters of the age of flowering, number of fruit planted, and fruit weight of the plant with a yield of 156.70 g/plant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Trichoderma sp dan POC Leri terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jorong Koto Tuo, Nagari Aia Amo, Kecamatan Kamang Baru, Kabupaten Sijunjung, Sumatera Barat dengan ketinggian tempat ± 115 mdpl, yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus - November 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan RAK 2 faktor dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama pemberian Trichoderma sp dengan  taraf konsentrasi yaitu 0ml,100ml, dan 200ml/L air. Faktor kedua yaitu pemberian POC Leri dengan 4 taraf yaitu 0 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml, dan 150 ml/L air. Hasil penelitian menunjukan interaksi Trichoderma sp dan POC Leri berpengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman dan jumlah biji per tanaman kedelai dengan kombinasi terbaik pada Trichoderma sp 200 ml/L dan POC Leri 100 ml/L. Sedangkan secara perlakuan Trichoderma sp hanya berpengaruh pada parameter bintil akar efektif, dan POC Leri berpengaruh pada parameter jumlah polong per tanaman, bobot polong per tanaman, bobot biji per tanaman, dan produksi biji per hektar dengan produksi tertinggi yaitu 2,03 ton diperoleh pada konsentrasi POC Leri 150 ml/L.Untuk meningkatkan produksi kedelai dapat dilakukan

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon varietas kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L) terhadap pupuk cair limbah industri tahu. Percobaan ini telah dilakukan di Kelurahan Kalumbuk, Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang, Sumatra Barat dari Maret sampai Juni 2022. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama terdiri dari 4 varietas kacang tanah yakni garuda, takar 2, tigo ampek, dan duo. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi pupuk cair limbah industri tahu terdiri dari 3 taraf yakni 0, 400 dan 800 ml L-1. Data hasil pengamatan disidik ragam dan diuji F taraf 0,05. Apabila terdapat pengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji DNMRT. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi respon varietas kacang tanah yakni (1) interaksi varietas kacang tanah dan konsentrasi POC limbah tahu berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot polong kering per plot yaitu 505,33 g dan bobot polong kering per hektar yaitu 3,37 ton, (2) varietas kacang tanah dengan produksi tertinggi didapat pada varietas Takar 2, (3) POC limbah tahu dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah dengan dosis terbaik 400 ml/L.
