Abstract

One of the things that are considered important for the car is the seat. Car seats could be able to give effect to the driver to be more comfortable. As in the research paper carried out in the car seat industry that is with two objectives defined, first to ensure that the right design of new products is based on customer needs with the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) approach and the second is to improve competitiveness based on renewal marketing strategies and customer needs such as longevity, no wrinkles, not easy to get dirty, no flat pillows, and competitive prices. Customer satisfaction ratings are used in this study to compare with competitors. Based on calculations using the QFD method, this shows that the seat option has the highest percentage of technical requirements in the car seat industry around 27.39%. The second factor is material about 25.94%, and then the third factor is the characteristic attenuation of about 19.17%. Therefore, for continuous quality improvement purposes in the future, still, a lot of customer needs regarding the seat car need to be developed, so further discussion is needed for the future researcher with a suggestion to use another method such as  Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM), Analytical Network Process (ANP) or Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to combine with Quality Function Development (QFD).

Abstract

High competition in the global wheel market demands is triggering the companies who are produced to improve their process to be able to offer the best wheels quality. Process monitoring charts are employed for improving the process capability index of the process, some industries set a Cp value greater than 1.33 in assessing their process capability. The aims of this research is to reduce the number of defects in the casting process using the Define Measure Analyze Improve Control (DMAIC) method. It shows the systematic way to find out the major problem root cause at the aluminum castings by using the defect diagnostic approaches and also cause and effect diagram. Other quality tools are used such as the Fishbone diagram and Pareto diagram. These tools identified the major defects for the rejections during production were identified are leaking, porosity hole motive, and oval. In determining the proposed quality improvements using the FMEA tool. The results of data processing on the calculation of process capabilities and product performance show improvements after quality improvements in the casting process.product performance was increased from Cp = 0.81 to Cp = 1.4, sigma level = 2.9 to sigma level = 4.0. The impact for the company is the defect rate was going down and finally it created the production costs saving by IDR 417,550,000 a month. Therefore, the application of the DMAIC method can provide a significant improvement in product quality and giving an impact on production cost savings

Abstract

Upland rice is a type of rice that has the potential to be developed in the South Solok area on Inceptisol dry land. Several types of upland rice were tested with the application of liquid organic fertilizer to obtain the best interaction between upland rice types and liquid organic fertilizer concentrations on growth and yield. The experiment was conducted on the inceptisol land of the Central Seed Center, South Solok District Agriculture Office, altitude of 980 meters above sea level, from July to December 2022. The experiment was arranged using a Randomized Block Design, a factorial treatment consisting of two factors. The first factor is the genotype of upland rice, namely; Guliang Tanda Merah, Rokan, Sibawang, and Simaritik. The second factor is the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer namely; 0, 20, 40, and 60 ml l-1, each experimental unit consisted of 3 replicates. observed data were analyzed using the F test if the calculated F is greater than the F table then proceed with the DNMRT test at the 5% level. Based on the experimental results, it can be concluded that the interaction of genotypes of upland rice and POC 20 ml.l 1 on the variable number of panicle grains. Provision of 60 ml.l-1 POC increased plant height growth, number of productive tillers, flowering age, harvest age, flag leaf length, number of panicles, panicle length, number of grains per hill, number of empty grains, number of grains per hill, percentage of empty grain,  grain weight per hill of upland rice plants. upland rice genotype, Guliang Tandai Merah is a genotype that has high productivity in all observed variables

Abstract

Percobaan bertujuan mengetahui respon varietas jagung manis (Zea mays Saccharata Sturt.) terhadap Trichokompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit pada ultisol. Percobaan dilakukan di Lagan Hilir Punggasan, Kecamatan Linggo Sari Baganti, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan dari 2024-2025.  Percobaan dilakukan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok faktorial dengan faktor pertama adalah varietas jagung manis yakni varietas paragon, bonanza dan super sweet dan faktor kedua adalah Trichokompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit 4 dosis yakni 0, 5, 10 dan 15 ton ha-1.  Hasil percobaan menunjukan respon varietas jagung manis terhadap STrichokompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit. Respon jagung varietas Paragon, Bonanza, dan Super Sweet memperlihatkan keragaman pertumbuhan, keragaman komponen hasil dan hasil pada ultisol.  Dosis Trichokompos TKKS yang tepat terhadap varietas Paragon dan Bonanza adalah 5 ton ha-1, dan  dosis trichokompos TKKS terhadap varietas Super Sweet adalah 10 ton ha-1 pada ultisol.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Trichoderma sp dan POC Leri terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jorong Koto Tuo, Nagari Aia Amo, Kecamatan Kamang Baru, Kabupaten Sijunjung, Sumatera Barat dengan ketinggian tempat ± 115 mdpl, yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus - November 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan RAK 2 faktor dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama pemberian Trichoderma sp dengan  taraf konsentrasi yaitu 0ml,100ml, dan 200ml/L air. Faktor kedua yaitu pemberian POC Leri dengan 4 taraf yaitu 0 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml, dan 150 ml/L air. Hasil penelitian menunjukan interaksi Trichoderma sp dan POC Leri berpengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman dan jumlah biji per tanaman kedelai dengan kombinasi terbaik pada Trichoderma sp 200 ml/L dan POC Leri 100 ml/L. Sedangkan secara perlakuan Trichoderma sp hanya berpengaruh pada parameter bintil akar efektif, dan POC Leri berpengaruh pada parameter jumlah polong per tanaman, bobot polong per tanaman, bobot biji per tanaman, dan produksi biji per hektar dengan produksi tertinggi yaitu 2,03 ton diperoleh pada konsentrasi POC Leri 150 ml/L.Untuk meningkatkan produksi kedelai dapat dilakukan

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas hukum internasional dalam mengatur konflik bersenjata, dengan mengambil konflik Israel–Palestina sebagai studi kasus utama. Melalui pendekatan normatif dan empiris, kajian ini menyoroti bagaimana instrumen hukum internasional—terutama International Court of Justice (ICJ) dan International Criminal Court (ICC)—belum mampu memberikan respons yang efektif terhadap pelanggaran hukum perang dan kejahatan terhadap kemanusiaan. Analisis diperkuat dengan data survei terhadap 40 responden dari kalangan strategis dan akademis, yang menunjukkan tingkat kepercayaan yang rendah terhadap daya pengaruh hukum internasional dalam meredam konflik. Temuan mengindikasikan bahwa hak veto di Dewan Keamanan PBB, lemahnya mekanisme enforcement, serta dominasi kepentingan politik dan ekonomi negara besar merupakan faktor utama yang menghambat implementasi hukum humaniter secara optimal. Melalui pendekatan analisis SWOT dan Diagram Kartesius, jurnal ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem hukum internasional saat ini berada dalam posisi defensif, yang menandakan perlunya reformasi struktural di tingkat global. Selain itu, jurnal ini menekankan pentingnya peran negara-negara berkembang, termasuk Indonesia, dalam mendorong pembaruan sistem hukum internasional, membatasi penggunaan hak veto, serta memperkuat kapasitas nasional dalam mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip hukum humaniter ke dalam doktrin militer. Kesimpulan utama dari kajian ini menegaskan bahwa tanpa reformasi yang menyeluruh, hukum internasional akan terus digunakan secara selektif dan berpotensi gagal menegakkan keadilan dalam konflik bersenjata kontemporer.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di Nagari Ketaping Kecamatan Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Kegiatan pengabdian ini fokus kepada sosialisasi dan pendampingan pembuatan kompos dari limbah batu bara FABA (Fly Ash dan Bottom Ash).Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan solusi alternatif pengelolaan limbah FABA melalui pemanfaatannya sebagai kompos untuk meningkatkan kesuburan tanah sebagai solusi pertanian ramah lingkungan dengan mengurangi penggunaan pupuk kimia atau anorganik. Metode pengabdian meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan pembuatan kompos berbahan FABA serta demonstrasi lapangan di lahan petani.

Abstract

This study describes the implementation strategy of the Nationalism Character Education Strengthening Program through the “Pocil” (Little Police) Program at MI Terpadu Al Madani Margorejo Pati, as well as its supporting and inhibiting factors. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The findings indicate that the implementation strategy of the Pocil Program involves careful planning, collaboration with Polsek Margorejo, comprehensive socialization, and program execution under professional supervision. The materials provided include marching drills (PBB), patriotism, and national insight. The program evaluation is conducted annually at the end of the academic year by Polsek Margorejo. The supporting factors include facilities and dedicated time provided by the school. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include time constraints from Polsek Margorejo and schedule conflicts with other activities.
