Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out the strategies used by teachers to improve Arabic speaking skills in the Arabic Language Development Program of Al Mawaddah area of Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Two data collection methods were used: observation and interview. The data sources studied were teachers, students, and various literatures relevant to the research object. A descriptive-analytic model was used for the data analysis. The results showed that Arabic teachers in the Al Mawaddah area of Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School used interactive and communicative strategies. The communicative strategy is carried out by requiring students to participate proactively in learning speaking and speaking skills. The communicative strategy requires students to understand and use communication directly from the language structure. With these two strategies, students become more communicative and better at speaking Arabic.

Abstract

The Qirā’ah method in Arabic language learning at MA Mambaul Ulum Sukodadi Paiton, Probolinggo, is implemented through Qirā’atul Khabar using varied reading texts according to students' interests. This research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and is based on the assumption that students' understanding, especially in reading news texts, is not yet optimal. The research results show that students can read aloud with correct pronunciation and intonation. They can also understand the sentences in the text and their meanings well. Various topics such as Education, Inspirational Figures, and Local Wisdom keep students interested and not bored learning Arabic. This research suggests that in the future, the Qirā’ah method through Qirā’atul Khabar should be developed with more interactive and technology-based teaching materials. The use of digital media or learning applications is expected to improve student participation and create a more interesting and relevant learning experience.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di MI Ihyauddiniyah, Probolinggo, sebagai respon terhadap rendahnya literasi digital guru serta keterbatasan media pembelajaran interaktif, khususnya dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab. Tujuan utama program ini adalah mendampingi guru dalam memanfaatkan Quizlet, sebuah platform digital yang menyediakan fitur kartu kilas (flashcards), kuis, dan permainan edukatif untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran kosakata. Pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan Community-Based Research (CBR) selama satu bulan dengan metode blended learning: dua kali pertemuan tatap muka dan tiga kali pertemuan daring melalui WhatsApp. Materi pelatihan mencakup pembuatan akun, penyusunan konten, serta penggunaan fitur seperti Live Quiz dan Match. Para guru memperoleh pendampingan secara langsung guna meningkatkan keterampilan teknis sekaligus kompetensi pedagogis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan sembilan guru berpartisipasi aktif, dan empat di antaranya berhasil mengintegrasikan Quizlet dalam kelas. Respon siswa sangat positif dengan meningkatnya keterlibatan serta daya ingat kosakata yang lebih baik. Meskipun terdapat kendala infrastruktur, guru mampu mengembangkan strategi kreatif untuk mengoptimalkan keterbatasan yang ada. Selain itu, program ini juga menumbuhkan budaya peer mentoring dan kolaborasi digital antarguru, yang mengindikasikan adanya pergeseran berkelanjutan menuju praktik pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Arabic learning as a source of Islamic development needs publication with written works. However, there are obstacles in writing skills such as the use of words that are not in accordance with the rules, and most students memorize vocabulary without knowing how to write them. So the objectives of this research are: 1. To provide material for creative writing skills using the game method. 2. Knowing the effectiveness of using the designed method. The researcher uses the Dick and Carey model of research and development approach with stages: defining goals, conducting learning analysis, students, formulating specific goals, developing assessment tools, educational strategies, selecting teaching materials, carrying out formative evaluations, and reviewing instructions. The results of the study: 1. learning writing skills in the religious program of MAN 1 Probolinggo in schools and dormitories. 2. Material development using a guessing game model with Arabic script with rules. Consists of: (a) guides and accompanying books used. (b) Lesson plan. 3. The designed model is effective to use. based on statistical analysis of students' responses and understanding before using the designed method with an average test result of 81.5 pre-test and after using the method with a post-test average of 86.16.

Abstract

Inappropriate learning methods are often the cause of the failure of the Arabic language. Therefore we need a fun singing method. This study aims to describe the increase in Arabic vocabulary (mufrodat) with a singing model and measure how much effectiveness it is used. in this study the methods used by researchers are qualitative and quantitative research methods. Qualitative methods are used to describe the process in detail during the research using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. As for the quantitative research method used to measure the effectiveness in its use using a questionnaire or questionnaire and data analysis using descriptive data analysis. The results of this study before the students used the singing method the average result was very low, namely 57.75%, while after using this method the average increased to 86.25%. So, the increase in vocabulary (mufrodat) with the singing model is said to be effective and successful, this can be seen from the learning outcomes which were initially sluggish & low but after the singing method was applied, the students' vocabulary mastery (mufrodat) increased. In addition, the response of students to the singing method in learning vocabulary (mufrodat) increased by 91%. So the singing method is able to foster a spirit of learning & mastery of Arabic vocabulary (mufrodat).
