Abstract

This research was conducted in Indonesia to analyze and understand the influence exerted by exchange rates and bank interest rates on the Indonesia Composite Index (IDX). The researcher used a causal method with a quantitative approach. The type of data used was secondary data obtained from the Bank Indonesia website. Data collection techniques included literature review and documentation. Data analysis techniques involved multiple linear regression tests, classical assumptions, and hypothesis testing. The research results indicate that exchange rates partially have a significant influence on IHSG, while bank interest rates do not have a significant impact on IDX. Simultaneously, both interest rates and exchange rates together significantly affect IDX in Indonesia. Meanwhile, interest rates and exchange rates have a very strong correlation with IDX, with a percentage of 84.98%, and the remaining 15.02% can be explained by other variables not examined. Suggestions can be made for investors to be more careful and thoroughly examine changes in bank interest rates, taking into consideration factors such as central government policies other than Bank Indonesia. This way, the interest rates set by banks, offering the highest interest rates, can be an alternative in decision-making.

Abstract

MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) play a strategic role in supporting Indonesia's economic growth, both through their contribution to GDP, employment absorption, and expansion of domestic and international markets. This study aims to analyze the acceleration of MSMEs in the expansion of national economic growth, with a focus on key factors that influence the ability of MSMEs to grow, innovate, and compete in the global market. This research approach uses a mixed method, involving quantitative analysis of secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs, as well as in-depth interviews with MSME actors in various sectors. The results of the study show that MSME acceleration is influenced by three main factors: business digitalization, access to financing, and improving human resource skills. The implementation of digital technology has been proven to increase operational efficiency and expand market access, both locally and internationally. However, obstacles such as low digital literacy, limited capital, and suboptimal regulations are still major challenges. This study recommends strengthening policies that support MSME digitalization, providing inclusive access to financing, and more focused entrepreneurship training and education. With targeted acceleration, MSMEs have great potential to become the main driving force of Indonesia's sustainable and inclusive economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of traditional markets in improving the community's economy in Muliorejo Village. The method applied was a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques to 10 traders and 10 buyers. The results show that traditional markets directly contribute to increasing community income, especially for small businesses. The available market facilities are sufficient to support smooth and comfortable buying and selling activities. However, there is no utilization of digital technology both in terms of promotion and payment systems; all transactions are still carried out in cash. The government also has a role to play through support such as coaching and efforts to improve market facilities. Overall, traditional markets remain an important part of driving the local economy.
