Abstract

Pada suatu perusahaan sering dijumpai suatu masalah tentang penerangan dan pendingin ruangan yang beroperasi tidak berdasarkan kebutuhan. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan terjadinya ketidak efisienan energi dan biaya. Paper ini membahas tentang perancangan suatu alat sistem kontrol penerangan, pendingin ruangan dan telepon yang terjadwal berbasis mikrokontroler AT89S52. Rancangan ini diharapkan untuk diaplikasikan pada gedung perkantoran dalam rangka penghematan energi. Sebagai penentu waktu digunakan RTC (Real Time Clock) tipe DS12887 dan sebagai penampil informasi digunakan panel LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) 16x2. Sebagai tambahan alat ini juga dilengkapi dengan sensor gerak sehingga penerangan dan pendingin ruangan akan bekerja selama ada pergerakan. Selain itu alat ini juga dilengkapi dengan saklar on/off yang dapat dioperasikan khususnya pada saat jam kerja tambahan (lembur). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian diperoleh, rangkaian pengatur hidup dan mati sistem penerangan, pendingin ruangan dan pengalihan saluran telepon pada ruangan pimpinan, ruangan karyawan dan ruangan satpam sesuai dengan waktu yang terjadwal telah berfungsi dengan baik.

Abstract

Knowing the age of life of the population in a country is useful for evaluating the performance of the government, whether the government is able to prosper the population in general, and improve health status in particular. The purpose of this paper is to forecast the age of the population in several major countries in Asia, so that the government has a benchmark in determining policies to further improve the welfare and health of the population in their respective countries. The forecasting method in this paper will use Machine learning algorithms with Bayesian Regulation techniques. The research data used is data on population expectations in several Asian countries sourced from the United Nations: "World Population Prospect: The 2010 Revision Population Database". This research is a development of research that has been done before, using the Cyclical order technique. Previous research used 5 architectural models (3-5-1, 3-8-1, 3-10-1, 3-5-8-1 and 3-5-10-1), with the best model being 3-5-10 -1 which results in an accuracy of 97%, MSE 0.0008358919, training time of 27 seconds and an error rate of 0.03. Meanwhile, this research only uses 3 modified architectural models (2-5-1, 2-10-1 and 2-5-10-1), with the best model being 2-5-1. The result is that this study is better than previous studies. The benchmark is seen from a smaller error rate (0.02), better accuracy (100%), to a faster training time (5 seconds). So it can be concluded, Bayesian Regulation technique works better than Cyclical order and the 2-5-1 architectural model will be used to make predictions

Abstract

Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia sehingga mendorong proses pembelajaran di Perguruan Tinggi yang semakin otonom dan fleksibel serta Menciptakan kultur belajar yang inovatif, tidak mengekang, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa. Adapun program MKBM terdiri dari 8 (delapan) kegiatan : magang/praktek kerja, asistensi mengajar di satuan pendidikan, penelitian/riset, proyek kemanusiaan, kegiatan wirausaha, studi/proyek independen, membangun desa/kuliah kerja nyata tematik dan pertukaran pelajar. Yang terlibat dalam program MBKM di Perguruan Tinggi adalah mahasiswa/i, dosen, dan koordinator Perguruan Tinggi. Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) LMII Medan dimasa pandemic covid-19 kurang aktif dalam mengikuti dikarenakan sebagian besar mahasiswa/i pulang ke daerah asalnya selama proses pembelajaran secara daring. Yayasan STIE LMII Medan mengikuti pelatihan program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) sehingga di angkatan program berikutnya dalam berperan serta dalam Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM).

Abstract

One form of community service that can be done is by implementing technology-based learning media in the school environment. In this context, we focus on using the Google Site platform to manage learning content, discussions, assignments, and assessments at SMK Esa Prakarsa. Google Site offers several advantages that are relevant to the needs of SMK Esa Prakarsa. Google Site learning content management allows you to organize learning materials in a structured way in the form of easy-to-access web pages. Materials can be integrated with a variety of formats such as text, images, videos, and links to external sources. Discussions and collaboration integrations with Google Classroom and Google Meet allow for more interactive discussions and collaborations. Comment features and discussion forums can be implemented to increase student participation. Assignment collection and grading can be uploaded and collected digitally through Google Classroom, which integrates with Google Site. Assignment assessment can be done online with a transparent and efficient assessment feature. This program is in line with the concept of Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) which encourages students to be involved in community service activities that have a real impact. The use of Google Site as a learning platform also supports Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which emphasize innovation in learning and the use of information technology. The condition of the school of SMK Esa Prakarsa is a vocational high school that focuses on technology and industry. The school has a number of skill programs that prepare students to enter the workforce or continue their education to a higher level. However, challenges in learning management are still the main obstacles that hinder the teaching and learning process

Abstract

Tridarma perguruan tinggi terdiri atas tiga point yaitu Pendidikan dan pengajaran, penelitian serta pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Dosen masih sering mengabaikan hal yang menunjang tugasnya selain mengajar dikelas. Untuk meningkatkan animo dosen dalam melakukan penelitian dan pengabdian, maka pemerintah melalui kemendikbud membuka hibah DRTPM. Melalui hibah ini seluruh dosen di akan bersaing untuk memenangkan hibah tersebut dengan skema-skema yang disediakan. Sebagian dosen STIe LMII Medan masih belum terlalu memahami prosedur pelaksanaan yang disediakan Simlitabmas.bTujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah agar dosen-dosen di STIe LMII Medan dapat menggunakan simlitabmas dengan baik.. Pemecahan masalah yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaan simlitabmas. Dengan diadakan pelatihan dan pedampingan penggunaan aplikasi Simlitabmas bagi dosen STIe LMII Medan, dosen akan bisa menggunakan aplikasi simlitabmas dan pemanfaatan dibidang penelitian dan pengabdian. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian Seluruh dosen tersebut sudah bisa login dan menggunakan aplikasi simlitabmas untuk mengupdate profil serta mengunggah proposal. Peserta telah memiliki Pengetahuan dan wawasan bahwa aplikasi simlitabmas sangat penting untuk meningkatkan karir peserta di bidang penelitian dan pengabdian. Wawasan dan pengetahuan peserta sudah meningkat, hal ini terlihat saat peserta sudah mampu mengoprasikan dan menggunakan semua menu yang ada di aplikasi simlitabmas. Sehingga diharapkan nantinya dosen-dosen STIe LMII Medan dapat mengikuti hibah DRTPM ini dengan tanpa adanya kesulitan dalam penggunaan Simlitabmas.

Abstract

The transition of children from early childhood education to elementary school (SD) is a critical phase in their psychological and academic development. During this phase, children face significant challenges, including changes to a more structured learning environment and increasing academic demands. At SDN 055991 in Langkat Regency, this phenomenon is reflected in the difficulties experienced by some students, particularly with basic skills such as reading, writing, and arithmetic, as well as with socializing with peers. These difficulties can impact children's long-term academic and social development. This study aims to identify the key factors influencing children's learning readiness during this transition period, utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Specifically, this study uses Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and Decision Trees as tools to analyze the data obtained. The use of this data-driven approach allows for a more in-depth analysis of the complex patterns and relationships between various variables that influence children's learning readiness, such as family factors, social environment, and students' basic skills. This study also references various previous studies demonstrating the effectiveness of backpropagation and Deep Learning algorithms in the context of education and student performance prediction. This approach is expected to provide more precise solutions for understanding children's learning readiness and provide a more accurate picture of the factors contributing to difficulties experienced by students in the transition to elementary school. The results of this study are expected to provide relevant recommendations for parents, educators, and education policymakers to support children's learning readiness and strengthen basic education policies that are adaptive to the needs of students in this digital era.

Abstract

Manual post-harvest paddy stirring requires significant time and labor and often results in uneven mixing, which can affect grain quality. To address this issue, this study designed and implemented a prototype of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based paddy stirring robot to simplify the process and improve efficiency. The system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller as the main controller, DC motors as the stirring mechanism, and an IoT module for wireless connectivity to a mobile application. The research stages included hardware design, control system programming, IoT platform integration, and performance testing. Testing was conducted to evaluate response time, mixing uniformity, and power consumption. The results showed that the system could be operated remotely via a local Wi-Fi network with an average delay of less than 1 second, enabling real-time control. The prototype successfully stirred 0.3 kg of paddy with a mixing uniformity rate of 92% and an average power consumption of 12 watts. The application of IoT in the paddy stirring mechanism significantly improved time efficiency, reduced manual labor requirements, and maintained grain quality compared to traditional methods. These findings indicate the potential for further development into a large-scale automated paddy processing system with integrated humidity and temperature sensors for real-time quality monitoring, supporting the modernization of post-harvest processing through digital technology.

Abstract

The development of digital technology poses challenges to data security, especially in frequently used PDF files. Cryptography can be used for data security. The conventional RSA algorithm with a static public key is vulnerable to attacks. This study integrates Diffie-Hellman to generate a shared key as a public exponent (e) in RSA, making key generation more dynamic and secure. The method includes system analysis, a combined implementation of Diffie-Hellman and RSA, and testing on PDF files. Data is converted to decimal numeric format before encryption and decryption. The encryption is stored in (*.txt), decryption returns the file to the original PDF. The results show that the use of a shared key improves security even though the encrypted file size increases by about 4-5 times from the original file. This system is expected to be a better solution for PDF security and modern cryptography.
